The Senior Immigration Solicitor (Violence Against Women and Girls & Migrant Justice) will lead on complex immigration casework and strategic legal interventions, with a particular focus on supporting Black, minoritised, and migrant (BMM) women affected by violence against women and girls (VAWG), especially those with insecure immigration status or no recourse to public funds (NRPF).

This is a senior role requiring a high degree of professional autonomy, decision-making, and initiative. While the postholder will be formally accountable to the Head of Community Engagement and Legal Services, they will operate with minimal day-to-day supervision, taking a lead in shaping casework strategy, driving systemic change, and strengthening SBS’s legal offer.

SCOPE OF WORK
The role will be full-time contract role for six months with scope for extension, involving the following:

1. Programme support (60%)
● Supporting the adaptation of our programme content for implementation in UK schools, in
consultation with early years teachers.
● Programme implementation support for Playful Learning and Partners in Learning programmes with refugee and asylum-seeking children.
● Supporting the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning function of the CfC projects, conducting
observations and generating project reports.

2. Local fundraising
● Identifying opportunities and assisting with grant applications.
● Accessing diaspora and local philanthropy by planning events.

3. Administrative support
● Keeping abreast of enquiries email account.

● Supporting with logistics and procurement of materials.

.PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience and knowledge:
● Demonstrable previous experience of working with children and young people in the UK, either
early years or primary school age (can be a non-teaching capacity).
● Relevant academic experience, ideally in social sciences, education, international development or
related field.
● Ability to provide a valid Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) certificate (issued within the last year).
● Excellent written and oral communication skills (English).
● Demonstrably strong research and analytical skills.

The Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer will work alongside the Head of Income, Partnerships and Communications to help deliver Rising Sun’s fundraising targets during this exciting period of growth for the charity.

The main focus of the role is finding, attracting and stewarding new funders to help deliver Rising Sun’s life changing services. You will write compelling funding proposals that demonstrate the impact of our services and how we meet funders’ requirements. You will build strong relationships with grant officers from various foundations, providing regular updates and communicating challenges, solutions and successes as appropriate to develop our reputation as an effective, reliable and trustworthy organisation.  Alongside this you will be nurturing our existing portfolio of funders to help prioritise multi-year funding.

Working with you in the Fundraising Team will be the Head of Income, Partnerships and Communications, Trusts and Foundations Officer, Community Fundraising Officer and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Team. As part of the team you will help to develop fundraising materials such as case studies, impact reports and cases for support.

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual who loves building and nurturing relationships and has a passion for fundraising. In addition, you will have excellent writing skills and experience of generating income from trusts and foundations to grow our income from this stream. • Develop and manage part of Rising Sun’s portfolio of income and fundraising activities related to trusts and foundations.

About the role

The Refugee Council supports separated children across England and part of our service is a team of staff based at the port of Dover, working 24/7 to provide a temporary safeguarding service for children arriving there, ensuring that their basic needs are met while they await transfer to the care of a local authority. The unit is reactive to the needs of clients, who may arrive at any time, and staff are expected to cover a variety of shifts.

As a Support Worker, you will assess the basic needs of newly arrived clients and provide an appropriate service, including food, clothing, and access to hygiene facilities. Join Our Fundraising Team ! 

At Scripture Union, we’re looking for two experienced and driven fundraisers to join our team. The fundraising team work to a target of around £2m per year, generated from a range of channels and segments. We’re looking for two more people to grow this team as we expand our mission to reveal Jesus to the younger generations in England and Wales. 

About the roles    

We’re looking for two fundraisers to tackle the following areas: 

• Individual Giving, working to maintain and grow our portfolio of donors giving between £10pa -  £1,500 pa each.

• Fundraising Innovation, coming up with fresh new ideas that will generate more income for the mission that take us beyond our tried and tested fundraising activities. 

Between them, the two roles account for 1.8 FTE, and we’re flexible about how that’s allocated. It could be that both roles work 4.5 days a week each, or one full time and the other four days. We’re open to suggestions as we seek the right candidates for the team.

The salary for both roles will be £31,500 - £34,800  per annum for an FTE. 

What You'll Do  

• Individual Giving: Grow income from individual donors through the management of campaigns, regular giving and invitations to increase gifts from general individual donors and mid-level donors. Work to acquire and retain new donors and reactivate lapsed donors. 

• Fundraising Innovation: Develop, trial and implement new and innovative approaches to income generation, contributing to our annual target through new strategic ideas. Work with the fundraising team to ensure these activities align with our fundraising strategy and relationships with grant making trusts, major donors and legacy income.

The Marketing and Insights Lead will drive Urban Saints’ marketing activity and use data insights to continually improve engagement, reach, and impact across all platforms. This role combines strategic planning with live performance monitoring to ensure our communications are effective and relevant.

You'll be responsible for:

• Planning and implement integrated campaigns across email, social media, and the website.
• Supporting launches, events, training, and product sign-ups with timely, engaging content.
• Working with the Communications Coordinator, writing and editing marketing copy for emails, landing pages, and social posts.
• Monitoring and reporting on digital metrics (Website, email, social media, ad performance).
• Tracking user journeys, engagement rates, and campaign ROI.
• Running A/B testing across platforms to evaluate message, format, and timing effectiveness
• Manage paid ads campaigns (E.g. Facebook, Google, Instagram).

About the opportunity
Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and wider Philanthropy Department, the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator will identify and cultivate fruitful partnerships with a range of small, medium and large businesses.
They will help maximise the potential of corporate and other organisations for funding, volunteer recruitment, and other philanthropic opportunities, to enable growth and sustainability for Action Tutoring. This will be achieved by securing and nurturing small to medium sized organisations to provide financial support for programmes. Additionally, the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator will engage with business to generate volunteers from across the country to deliver both online and face to face tutoring.
