About the role:
As IT Helpdesk Officer, you’ll be the first port of call for staff across the organisation who need technical support – whether it’s troubleshooting an issue, setting up new equipment, or helping someone navigate a system. You’ll make sure the IT helpdesk is responsive, helpful, and efficient, keeping everything running smoothly.

You’ll also support the IT Manager in maintaining the organisation’s IT infrastructure, contributing to projects and system rollouts, and ensuring data security protocols are followed. From supporting service transitions to liaising with third-party providers, you’ll be involved in a wide range of work that helps keep staff and systems connected.

Main Responsibilities 

The principal responsibility of an Associate Organiser is their own development: learning the craft of Community Organising under the guidance of an experienced Community Organiser. You will work intensively with a small number of member organisations under close supervision, growing your experience, skill and responsibility incrementally. An Associate Organiser is working towards becoming a competent practitioner of the craft of broad-based community organising methodology, and focuses on the building of relational power, the recruitment and retention of dues-paying institutions, the development of leaders, the strengthening of member institutions, leader-led public actions, and the winning of systemic change.

This role is particularly to organise with Be Well Organisations in Greenwich and Bexley. Be Well Organisations may be faith, education, or community institutions, tackling isolation and poor mental health by: 1. Building relationships, 2. Signposting and offering practical support, and 3. Taking action on structural and systemic inequalities and injustices. But you may also work on other campaign priorities and responsibilities as needed across the team. 

We are looking for people who are angry about injustice, who believe ordinary people have the power to make change, and who are motivated to learn the craft of Broad-based Organising. The role is hugely varied, and involves working across the two boroughs, in different institutions and context, and with a lot of independence.

Working as an Associate Organiser in South London Citizens, your main responsibilities will include: 

Build relational power to further the goals of CUK 

• Actively participate in the development of a comprehensive power analysis appropriate to the desired sphere of influence for each project/assignment 

• Establish working relationships with identified leaders and demonstrate ability to move them into action, including as part of the wider alliance; taking the initiative to establish new relationships

Supplementary Schools Support Officer

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join Young Hammersmith & Fulham and support a five-year collaborative initiative between Young Hammersmith & Fulham and Young Ealing Foundation, focused on strengthening supplementary schools across both boroughs. The Supplementary Schools Support Officer will provide practical support to supplementary schools, helping to improve educational outcomes for young people from diverse communities, preserve cultural heritage and mother-tongue language education, and create a thriving network of supplementary schools that share best practices and resources.

About the Project

This is a five-year collaborative initiative between the Young Hammersmith & Fulham and the Young Ealing Foundation to support supplementary schools across both boroughs. The project has two main components:

1. A grants programme providing £50,000 annually (£25,000 per borough) to support supplementary schools, with an average grant of £3,000 per school.

2. A dedicated Supplementary Schools Support Officer working around 16 hours per week, who will offer practical support to schools.

The project aims to enhance the capacity and sustainability of supplementary schools, improve educational outcomes for young people from diverse communities, preserve cultural heritage and mother-tongue language education, foster a vibrant network of supplementary schools, and strengthen links between supplementary provision and mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and continuity for the Foundation’s fundraising team, supporting colleagues to maintain momentum and ensuring ongoing delivery of the development strategy.
• Oversee and guide the team’s work on major donor and high-value supporter relationships, ensuring effective cultivation and stewardship continue. Support the Director, Trustees, and Philanthropy Manager in their engagement with key donors.
• Provide strategic oversight of the donor stewardship programme, ensuring the team continues to prioritise thoughtful, relationship-led approaches at all levels of giving.
• Guide and support the team in managing a robust pipeline of prospects, ensuring clear solicitation plans and donor journeys are in place to meet agreed financial targets.
• Lead and oversee the Foundation’s Trusts and Foundations fundraising activity, providing guidance on prospecting, proposal development, and reporting, while supporting the team to deliver high-quality applications and steward existing relationships.
• Oversee and support the team’s planning and delivery of fundraising events, including donor cultivation and stewardship events, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard.
• Support and mentor the small development team, ensuring team members are empowered to maintain momentum and deliver key fundraising activities.
• Ensure the effective use of the CRM system (Salesforce), maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless donor administration and stewardship processes.
• Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant standards, including the Code of Fundraising Practice, GDPR, and MCCF’s safeguarding and reputational management policies.
• Act as a committed advocate of the MCC Foundation’s mission and programmes, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the Foundation’s work and impact.

Personal Specification

• Proven experience in senior fundraising roles, with a strong track record in major donor and trust fundraising.
• A deep understanding of different forms of fundraising and the opportunities that exist for organisations like MCC Foundation.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and motivating small teams.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities, with a donor-centric approach.
• Experience overseeing donor stewardship programmes and managing high-value fundraising pipelines.
• Competence in fundraising event oversight and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and data-driven fundraising.

About the role:

As the Executive Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the CEO’s office and the wider Executive Team. You’ll be the go-to person for diary management, governance coordination, internal communications, and helping to drive forward strategic projects. This is a hands-on, proactive role where you’ll be trusted to juggle priorities, anticipate needs, and be one step ahead.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

• CEO & Executive Support: Prioritise and coordinate the CEO’s diary and support the daily workflow of the Executive Team.
• Communication Management: Manage email inboxes, draft and respond to communications, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

To be considered for the role you will have the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

• Proven experience providing high-level support to senior executives, ideally within a membership organisation or non-profit
• Experience coordinating Board and Committee activity, including minute-taking and logistics
• Strong project coordination skills and confidence developing systems and processes
• Familiarity with international or healthcare-related work environments is a bonus
• High proficiency in Microsoft Teams and the full Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience using CMS/CRM systems and confidence with basic financial tasks (budgets, processing)
• A solid understanding of organisational governance and data protection (GDPR)

Our new Memory Café project aims to support dementia patients and their carers by providing a welcoming space for social and recreational activities. The Café will offer dementia friendly activities (including karaoke, bingo, arts/crafts and immersive theatre/dance shows) to empower dementia patients to enjoy regular social, cognitive and physical activities.

Alongside supporting patients, the Memory Café will create a highly supportive environment for carers. This will enable carers to take some 'time out' while remaining nearby in a safe space where both carers and patients can socialize more widely. Furthermore, the Café will provide access to information about relevant local services, ensuring comprehensive support for all attendees.

The Memory Café Care Worker will support the Memory Café Manager and enable us to support a broad range of dementia patients and their carers.
