Job Title:  Programme Coordinator

Contract:         0.6 FTE (3 days a week, 22.5 hours). Fixed term contract terminating August 2027

This role is central to the smooth running of our new regional programme. As Programme Coordinator, you’ll work closely with the Programme Manager to support delivery, coordination, communication/engagement and administration.

You’ll be involved in everything from troubleshooting and responding to enquiries from schools, to preparing materials for stakeholders, updating delivery and engagement records on our CRM database, and helping gather data on programme impact. You’ll also support the development of case studies and feedback that help us communicate the difference the programme is making.

What you’ll be doing:

Programme coordination & admin support

• Provide day-to-day administrative support for the programme, as directed by the Programme Manager

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of programme activities, delivery and engagement

• Ensure programme data is entered and managed effectively using our CRM (Salesforce)

• Support the coordination of services, training and communications with schools

• Assist with monitoring and evaluation by gathering and organising feedback, data and impact stories

• Help build inspiring case studies that reflect the programme’s progress and success
   

Customer service & stakeholder engagement

• Be the first point of contact for schools and partners, answering queries by phone, email and helpdesk

• Ensure a high standard of customer service across all channels, following up promptly where needed

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with schools, local authorities and colleagues

• Help prepare programme materials for internal use and for external stakeholders
   

Team support & collaboration

• Contribute to internal meetings and planning processes as required

• Support projects and tasks as delegated by the Programme Manager and Head of Department

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Research and develop a qualified pipeline of trust/foundation and corporate prospects to ensure achievement of voluntary income targets in 2027/28 and beyond. 
• Draft winning funding bids and support the Head of Fundraising and/or CEO to develop compelling proposals and/or pitches. 
• Support and manage the CEO to lead relationships with funders and prospects.
• Lead on managing the funder reporting cycle and ensuring we deliver on our funding agreements, producing timely and inspiring impact reports.
• Drive awareness and understanding of fundraising internally by making connections with colleagues across the organisation and working collaboratively to support achieving fundraising goals.

Person Specification:
 

• Previous high value fundraising experience (trusts and foundations, corporates or philanthropy), with a track record of successfully securing significant donations and achieving income targets.

Location: This is a remote UK-based role with regular travel to CST’s national and regional events, mainly in Birmingham and London. Candidates within reasonable travel distance to these locations are preferred.

At Thomas Pocklington Trust, we’re promoting equality and inclusion blind and partially sighted people in every aspect of society. One of our many missions is to establish Sight Loss Councils across the UK, to tackle local issues and work with businesses and service providers to improve the accessibility of their services.

We are looking for an SLC Coordinator to join us to continue to grow the scope and presence we have already established in the Yorkshire and Humberside region.  We are open to considering candidates who are looking for flexible part-time working as well as those who wish to work full-time.  The salary would pro-rated for less than 36 hours per week.

About the role

The key purpose of the Coordinator role is to support the Senior Engagement Manager to deliver regional Sight Loss Councils across Yorkshire and Humberside and to engage with blind and partially sighted people across the region.  We currently have three Sight Loss Councils (SLCs) in this region, so the postholder will be expected to work alongside the Senior Engagement Manager and coordinate the SLCs activity, focusing on the retention of the volunteers engaged and making sure the projects and work they are involved in, continue with success.

You will have the passion and ability to use your lived experience to influence change, for the benefit of blind and partially sighted people. As an experienced Coordinator, you will engage and support Sight Loss Council members in the implementation of the region’s business plans to bring about change across transport, health and the built environment, as well as areas of local interest such as arts and culture or retail.

You will be a self-starter and work well on your own but will also enjoy being a part of a national team working across the country, with whom you can learn from, as well as share good practice with. The RSPCA Buckinghamshire South Branch

The RSPCA Buckinghamshire South Branch is one of the branches of RSPCA, but we are also a separately registered charity looking after animals in our local area. Much of the animal welfare work of RSPCA is carried out through local branches, which is run by volunteers who have the support of the National Society of RSPCA.

The main activity of our branch is specialised in the rehoming of small animals including cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs and hamsters. The animals come into our care from various sources such as those which are rescued, abandoned, neglected or given up by their owners. Each animal is medically and characteristically assessed to ensure it is fit and well before being available for rehoming. This all costs money, and could not be achieved without your support. 

Job Summary

This role is responsible for the development, implementation and operation of appropriate financial and business management tools to support the day-to-day business and financial administration of the Branch.

Reporting to and working closely with the Chief Executive Office (CEO), you will be expected to make use of the full capability of the Branch’s existing software systems (Google Workspace, and Quick Books) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery and develop management information to aid the Trustees & CEO in decision making.

You will be responsible for all financial management across the charity. This includes bookkeeping; financial statements; financial planning; financial policies, processes and controls and budgeting. 

You must ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with current legislation, Branch and Society policy, relevant Health & Safety regulations and any associated statutory or legislative requirements.

Note: Branch targets and budgets are agreed on an annual basis and these will inform the personal targets agreed at the annual performance review. Progress towards personal targets will be reviewed at regular one-to-one meetings with your line manager.

This role is home based, with occasional travel across South Bucks.

Principal Accountabilities

Financial Management & Operations

• Support the CEO as a key strategic and operational partner, acting as second-in-command and deputising in their absence where appropriate.

• Maintain all financial records and accounting systems (the Branch currently uses Quick Books accounting software), registers and statistics as required by the CEO & Branch Trustees.

• Work with the CEO and Branch Trustees to develop financial plans and an annual financial budget.

• Maintain close oversight of the branch’s budget in collaboration with the CEO, proactively identifying and addressing any discrepancies, overspend, or unplanned financial activity to ensure effective financial control and informed decision-making.

• Process, monitor, record and manage all receipts & payments to/from the Branch in accordance with the agreed procedures and in liaison with the appropriate staff and volunteers including weekly banking, cash handling, invoice creation and processing, Branch payments (including those made via credit cards and petty cash) and account reconciliation.

• Monitor, review and reconcile monthly receipts & payments on the Quick Books accounting system.

• Produce monthly management accounts which include bank reconciliations, balance sheets, Branch/departmental profit & loss statements, departmental comparisons and performance against budget and such other financial reports/management information as may be required including monthly reporting to the board of trustees.

• Coordinate bank accounts across the charity, including set-up and balance management.

• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.

• Prepare annual financial statements and coordination of annual audit review.

• Support the staff and volunteers with day-to-day financial operations and ensuring departmental financial records are maintained and that monies received or expended are accounted for correctly.

• Work with the RSPCA Society National team regarding legacies, submission of care contribution funds, renewals of insurances etc.

• Ensure that strict protocols are followed for cash handling and that unbanked cash remains within the insured limit for cash held at each premises.

• Liaise with the Branch’s payroll provider to ensure staff hours are submitted and salary payments processed on a monthly basis and within the appropriate timescale.

• Process all staff and volunteer expenses in a timely manner.

• Manage all bookkeeping processes and functions, including the asset register, ensuring annual accounts are produced no later than the end of March each year.

• Develop, implement and maintain appropriate financial administrative procedures and processes.

Business Administration

• Responsible for day-to-day financial administrative support for the CEO and Trustees.

• Ensure that all administrative paperwork, including external correspondence is processed in accordance with Branch and Society procedures, including completion of all appropriate records for insurance and risk management purposes.

• Ensure financial data processing, retention and destruction conforms to the relevant policies such as GDPR.

• Ensure regulatory and legislative compliance of financial charity policies.

• Work closely with relevant operational staff to ensure appropriate responses are issued to all enquiries whether from members, supporters & volunteers, RSPCA colleagues or the general public.

• Liaise with staff and volunteers to facilitate the ordering of materials, supplies and equipment for the effective operation of the Branch, ensuring budgetary controls are maintained at all times.

• Work with the CEO and other staff to manage relevant licences, vendor relationships, service agreements and invoicing.

• Work with staff and volunteers across the whole charity on financial processes and controls.

Fundraising & Donations

• Identify, assess, and apply for appropriate grants and funding streams to maximise income for the branch, ensuring applications are timely, well-prepared, and aligned with funder criteria to support the branch’s strategic and operational objectives.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, whose mission is to see a time when no deaf person feels alone, is seeking a proactive and relationships-driven Partnerships Account Manager for managing and growing a portfolio of corporate partners.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now looking to build a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to diversify income, expand their portfolio and accelerate income from mission-aligned businesses.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, this role will take a lead on nurturing existing partnerships and developing new ones, with a specific focus on increasing income through employee engagement and payroll giving schemes. It will also ensure that each partnership is maximised and aligned with Hearing Dogs’ mission and fundraising goals.

The post-holder will work closely with internal teams and corporate supporters to deliver engaging campaigns, employee fundraising, volunteering opportunities and impactful communications that help raise income and awareness for the charity.

It is a role that will require excellent stewardship, creativity and commercial awareness skills for mutual value – that means you will need strong relationship management and excellent communication skills. A background in corporate fundraising will be essential, alongside the ability to identify and maximise the potential of corporate support opportunities, including financial and in-kind support. You will also have experience of managing charity-of-the-year partnerships or working with employee fundraising programmes.

Purpose of the post

This role will have a particular focus on managing the HDRUK contribution to our partnership with the EPSRC Digital Health Hubs in the South West and Wales (LEAP) and the North West and North Cumbria (NortHfutures) which aim to drive innovation in digital health by promoting knowledge and skills sharing across healthcare, academia and business but there will be opportunities and a requirement to contribute to the wider training offer and strategy. This role is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for the delivery and monitoring of the innovative learning experiences that make up HDR UK’s training programme.

The Network Lead plays a central role in helping us achieve our vision to end the need for food banks in the UK. This is a varied, proactive and fast-paced role leading work to support our food banks to deliver a warm welcome, emergency food, and access to tailored support and advice for people experiencing poverty in communities across Northern Ireland, while we work together for long-term structural changes to tackle drivers of food bank need.

The role involves line management of Area Managers working directly with Food Banks, and the coordination of projects and partnerships to support food banks in our network to reduce the need for their services locally.

Role responsibilities

· Food Bank Support: Manage the delivery of support to food banks in Northern Ireland ensuring our community of food banks remain resilient and can provide a compassionate service to people in need of emergency food for as long as services are needed.  

· Strategic Leadership: Coordinate the delivery of strategic programmes of work that are part of Trusell’s five-year strategy to end the need for food banks, including through developing and delivering Northern Ireland specific priorities.

· Projects and partnerships: Build partnerships with organisations to develop and build services and systems that help end the need for food banks in Northern Ireland, including with national government, elected representatives, churches, community organisations and research bodies.

· Team Leadership: Provide leadership, support, coaching, development, and line management to the area managers.

· Risk Management: Ensure consistent quality assurance of food banks across Northern Ireland, in line with the risk framework and support area managers to deal with complaints and manage food banks with high risks.

As a Senior Data Officer, you will be part of our Data & Insight team within the Finance. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with data tools, scripting, and automation, and who can collaborate well across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Data Operations & Standards Manager in maintaining data quality and system integrity across our databases.
• Deliver training and day-to-day support to users of our CRM systems, including making agreed system adjustments.
• Manage CRM user access, data cleansing, reporting and administration.
• Lead on technical development projects to improve automation and streamline processes using tools such as SQL, Power Automate or Python.
• Help design and maintain system integrations using APIs or middleware platforms.
• Reduce manual processes by developing efficient data flows across systems.
