About the role

The purpose of the social media officer role is to monitor, respond to and triage social media enquiries across Breast Cancer Now’s social media platforms, ensuring our tone and messaging are consistent, clear and engaging. 

Working closely with fundraising teams and the social media and community team, you’ll keep up to date with current and upcoming campaigns and activity, ensuring our online communities receive an excellent supporter experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in shaping Breast Cancer Now’s social media response handling.

About you

You’ll have some experience responding to external enquiries within charity, with an ability to adapt your communication style to suit the campaign or audience.

You’ll enjoy working as part of a busy and high performing team to reach shared goals, while also having the ability to work individually and manage your own workload. You’ll have experience training others, working with colleagues to deliver best practise across social media in this role.

As a well-organised person with an eye for detail and excellent communication skills, you’ll enjoy working with a wide range of colleagues and key external suppliers to monitor, respond to and report on our social media activity.

Job Summary

Advance’s Minerva service works with women and young women and girls involved in the Criminal Justice System offering safe, targeted support and advocacy to women to help them address their complex needs in relation to the 9 pathways to offending, such as substance misuse and financial difficulties, aiming to reduce re-offending, encourage desistance amongst repeat offenders, and empower women to live safe, crime free lives.

Working as a Service User Engagement Lead you will be responsible for supporting the operational delivery of our service user engagement programme that will be a part of the Minerva service across London, including leading a team of CJS community champions and ambassadors and supporting in the oversight and delivery this programme across our 3 criminal justice services. In addition, this role requires you to build effective relationships with the criminal justice teams across London, and the regions alongside our partners and service users.

An integral part of the Service User Engagement Lead role will include delivering planned monthly supervision and ad-hoc supervision and having oversight of safeguarding and risk management for the CJS champions and ambassadors that you are working alongside. You will support the Senior Service Manager and Service Managers in delivering key information to keyworkers, in staff meetings and in day-to-day interactions to help promote the service user engagement programme.

You will lead your team and service while working collaboratively with fellow Advance managers and teams, external agencies and key stakeholders across London to provide a consistent and holistic service.

Key responsibilities and duties

• Support the recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes for champions and ambassadors including processing checks and welcome packs. Creating and supporting a positive culture of CJS Champions and ambassadors within the service
• To ensure the voice of service users is heard, valued and have influence throughout all areas of services, development design and delivery
• Supporting the CJS champions and ambassadors in post with their professional development
• Support with coproduction of projects across sites including coproduction space and service user activities, representing the views and opinions of those who access our services by leading on service user board meetings, focus groups and training sessions.
• Oversight of the welfare and wellbeing of CJS Champions and ambassadors
• Embed processes that enable you to engage with those who access our services, by listening to their views and asking for their feedback. Provide feedback and updates to those who access our services informing them of any changes and decisions.
• Work with staff and the local community to improve and develop the service, promoting our strategy
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on champions and ambassadors and service user engagement via our internal database and spreadsheets.
• Manage invitations, bookings, and logistics for internal and external events, meetings or workshops involving CJS community champions and ambassadors
• Ensure all CJS champion and service user information is managed confidentially and in line with Data Protection regulations.
• Keep CJS champions and ambassadors training and participation records up to date.
• Support in monitoring engagement levels and preparing basic reports or summaries on Service User Involvement champions and ambassadors.
• Be responsible for your own personal learning/development and keep up to date on research, relevant legislation, policy and practice, and other literature relevant to the role.
• Participate in supervision, training and meetings as required and assist in the development of services in line with agreed development plans.
• Work collaboratively with the Service Managers to ensure that the work supporting women in the CJS is a coherent and well organised service, meeting regularly to communicate issues across the team and reporting achievements, challenges and proposed solutions.

You are an organised and empathetic individual with experience in supporting service user involvement and champion/ambassador programmes. You’re confident managing the full lifecycle of engagement - from recruitment and onboarding to professional development and exit processes - ensuring safeguarding and data protection protocols are followed at all times. You have a strong understanding of co-production principles and are passionate about ensuring the voices of those with lived experience are heard, valued, and embedded in service design and delivery. Your ability to build positive relationships enables you to effectively support the welfare and wellbeing of community champions and ambassadors, while also engaging wider staff and community networks to improve services. With strong administrative skills, you’re confident in managing data systems, coordinating events, and maintaining accurate records. You’re proactive in monitoring engagement levels and can contribute to reporting and service development activities. Collaborative by nature, you work well within a team, communicate effectively, and are committed to continuous learning. You stay up to date with relevant legislation, policy, and best practice, and thrive in environments that value service user voice, equality, and community impact.

WWT has successfully partnered with Richmond Borough and Slough Councils to deliver an innovative, nature-based flood alleviation scheme that is already underway, aiming to future-proof neighbourhoods against the impacts of climate change. A landscape scale network of wetland interventions will help build flood resilient communities in two river catchments and unlock their multiple benefits for people. Key interventions are being developed through an inclusive process of co-production with the diverse communities living in these catchments.

WWT’s Conservation Evidence Department is seeking a scientist to deliver social research that examines the effectiveness of these nature-based solutions in building flood resilience and generating social and health and wellbeing benefits for local communities.

About You

The role will involve working closely with WWT colleagues across the Conservation Directorate, as well as project partners and local communities. Strong communication (written and oral) and coordination skills are essential.

The successful candidate will have:

• strong social research skills, both in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis

The Senior Officer, Public Health, Inclusion and Support will support the development and delivery of the public health, inclusion and awareness team's work across the UK, which is to empower patients and the public to play a full role in managing their own risk of getting breast cancer, diagnosing breast cancer earlier and improving their quality of life after a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, thereby reducing the risk of recurrence.

The role will also support the delivery of activities to drive forward equity, diversity and inclusion agenda to ensure Breast Cancer Now achieves the pledges, recommendations and actions set out in plans and champion commitment to celebrate diversity, challenge and address inequality, and help build an inclusive environment for all people affected by breast cancer.

Key responsibilities

• Project Delivery & Community Engagement: Support the delivery of public health and inclusion initiatives by coordinating projects, developing resources, and building partnerships with under-represented communities.
• Monitoring, Evaluation & Data Management: Monitor and evaluate public health activities by gathering data, producing reports, and maintaining accurate records in line with organisational and data protection standards.
• Representation & Communication: Represent the team at meetings, events and conferences, and contribute to internal and external communications to raise awareness of public health work.
• Team Support & Administration: Assist with team administration, including preparing meeting papers, processing invoices, and supporting the development of systems and materials to improve service delivery.

The successful candidate will be proactive, highly motivated and have experience in the development and delivery of public health and inclusion initiatives, campaigns and projects. You will be an excellent communicator in building relationships at a local level with external organisations and groups including with those from under-represented communities.

You will be confident in understanding and explaining equity, diversity and inclusion issues in public health work clearly and are able to present information in a variety of forms dependent on the target audience.

You will contribute to the development of the recovery hub, by providing expertise in alcohol and drug misuse. Taking a lead role in delivering training/ advising staff on substance misuse issues, liaison with substance misuse agencies, facilitating multidisciplinary case conferences and negotiating access to detox and treatment services. Carrying out assessments of drug and alcohol usage with key clients, delivering brief and extended interventions, outlining risks, advice on harm minimisation and refer to specialist agencies.

You will also conduct surveys of residents view and opinions, assist with audits and reporting on the service, help to ensure compliance with regulation and best practice, and work with a Support Team which promotes person centred coproduced approaches.

You need to have experience of working with homeless people with complex needs, have a good understanding of strengths, needs, and risks they experience. Be competent with computer systems, and comfortable completing regular performance reports. The Senior Substance Misuse Worker is a day shift based role with evening and weekend working.

The Diocese of Manchester has established the Places Project, which is currently working with 33 schools and 33 churches in developing discipleship pathways for children and young people in Bolton. We are looking to appoint a Children’s Worker, to work with the team on a range of innovative new initiatives for children and their families as well as helping existing ministries to grow and flourish.

The Children’s Worker will work with churches and primary schools to create worship and discipleship opportunities for children. As part of their role, the Children’s Worker will work as part of the wider Places Project team, with specific involvement in a Year 6 transition programme in primary schools.

The Children’s Worker will have many opportunities for training and development, as well as the creative freedom to launch new children’s initiatives. They will work within a highly motivated and supportive team, who are committed to prayer and to raising a generation of Jesus-followers.

The post holder should have some experience of children’s ministry and working or volunteering in a church and/or school context. To succeed, they need to be enthusiastic, relational, self-motivated and able to lead children in a variety of contexts.

RB Mind has run effective peer-led services for many years. The role will be supported by RB Mind Senior Peer Support Workers, and the Peer Support Coordinator in South West London St George’s Mental Health Trust (SWLStG). With the expansion of our work in this area we aim to reduce waiting times, reduce the number of people going into crisis, address inequalities and support transitions from youth to adult services. We offer holistic and personalised care and support to service users.

The role has its own caseload and provides a range of support and person-centred interventions to meet these needs, which could include group support, one-to-one interventions and signposting where specialist advice is needed.

Summary of the role

The Individual Giving Fundraiser will be at the heart of our fundraising efforts, driving digital fundraising, managing multi-channel appeals and designing and implementing donor journeys to increase engagement, retention and income.

Main purpose of job

Working with the Head of Fundraising the Individual Giving Fundraiser will lead on developing and delivering strategies to grow income from individual supporters through acquisition, retention, and stewardship. This role focuses on building long-term, meaningful relationships with donors, delivering compelling fundraising campaigns, and enhancing the donor experience across digital and offline channels.

The Role Responsibilities

· Maintain and grow ADSS’s income from individual supporters with a focus on digital platforms.

Fundraising Strategy and Planning:

· Work with the Head of Fundraising to develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies, including regular giving, to support ADSS’s mission, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

· Develop project plans and assist in setting KPI’s.

· Craft compelling appeals that resonate with donors and reflect the organization’s mission.

· Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring their continued support.

· Implement strategies for donor recognition and retention, including personalised outreach, acknowledgements, impact reports, and engagement opportunities.

· Develop and maximise communication tools and materials to keep all donors updated with our key messaging and impact.

· Engage with the community through various communication channels, promoting the organisation’s mission and fundraising opportunities.

Corporate and Community Partnerships:

Work with the Corporate and Community Fundraisers to:

· Develop Individual Giving programmes within Corporate and Community partnerships

· Ensure that digital platforms support their efforts to cultivate relationships with local businesses and community groups to secure sponsorships, partnerships, and in-kind donations.

· Engage community leaders and influencers to increase visibility and support for ADSS’s fundraising efforts.

· Explore the role of digital platforms in new partnerships to diversify revenue streams and enhance community engagement.

Donor Database Management:

· Maintain and update our donor database, ensuring accurate records of donations, communications, and engagement history.

· Analyse one-off and regular giving performance and optimise programmes based on insights

· Manage the Membership recruitment process

· Track progress towards fundraising goals, preparing regular reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
