About the role:
Imperial College London is seeking a dynamic and strategic fundraising leader to join our Advancement Division as Deputy Director of Development (Trusts, Foundations & Corporates). This pivotal role will lead the development and execution of a high-impact fundraising strategy, aligning with Imperial’s ambitious new campaign, Science for Humanity. You’ll have the ability to build engaging and accessible content to both academic and non-academic audiences (including members, senior leaders, policy makers).

Livingstone House is a 24 hour staffed 92 bed mix gender hostel, which provides short term supported housing for single homeless vulnerable people with Low to Medium support needs. Look ahead provides the support function and Riverside provides the housing management and night concierge. The Service provides on average 5 hours of weekly support to customers who reside in the hostel with the aim to provide them with the tools to move on within the community and live independently. On occasions, we may need support within our scattered sites based in Brent.
The Shift pattern of this role consist: 8am -4pm and 1.30pm - 9pm. Over a 7 day rota with 2 days off with weekend working

About this key role
As well as focusing on the delivery of the SOS+ Embedded Mentor Programme to targeted at risk students, our successful candidate will establish and maintain positive relationships with students to provide emotional support, guidance, and mentorship. About the role
You’ll provide high quality admin support to the East of England team, coordinate, plan and prep key meetings, and provide first point contact for both internal and external stakeholders. Including working coproductively with people living with Parkinson’s.
As members of the Community Directorate we aim to reach out to and support people with Parkinson’s, their families, friends and carers. We enable the voice of people affected by Parkinson’s to be heard to improve services, inform our priorities and improve decision making locally.
Through community development we work in close collaboration with our respective Parkinson’s communities to bring change on the issues that matter most to people affected by Parkinson’s
What you’ll do:

Organise online and in-person, internal and external meetings and other events, including booking venues and refreshments, assisting with the production of materials, liaising with participants and speakers, fulfilling mailings and taking bookings as required

Keep up to date with the directorate’s activities in order to provide clear, accurate information, and support the process of business performance and impact reporting

Respond to general enquiries in a timely and friendly fashion, ensuring needs are met, and participate in working groups, meetings, local events or activities as required

Maintain digital records on the charity’s data platforms, help manage our social media platforms and our newsletters and other communications.
What you’ll bring:

Male Independent Domestic Victim Advocate
We are looking for a proactive and compassionate Male Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) to join the Ashraya Project supporting Male Victims & Survivors.
This role is hybrid, working from home and the office in London and also involves regular travel throughout the area.

The Role
As a Male Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will ensure that male survivors’ safety & housing needs are met. You will provide specialist support at the moment of crisis, providing advocacy & support to access safe accommodation ensuring the safety, security & dignity of service users & their children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess risks and needs using evidence-based checklists.
- Focus on high-risk cases with short to medium-term crisis intervention.
- Assist high-risk victims in accessing safety services.
- Deliver tailored support and information.
- Understand legal frameworks for protecting children and vulnerable adults.
- Provide advocacy on legal, housing, health, and financial options.
- Empower clients to recognize domestic abuse dynamics.
- Participate in Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC).

About You
Ideally, you will have knowledge about legal remedies for domestic abuse victims and have experience working with drug, alcohol, and mental health issues. An understanding benefits, housing, and homelessness would also be beneficial.
You will need:
- Knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on victims and children.
- Awareness and understanding of the barriers men face when accessing support services.
- To demonstrate proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency settings.

- Direct service delivery experience to victims or vulnerable people.
