What the job involves

The Health Information Coordinator is a vital role supporting a busy team that creates health information and communications for men who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer or those at high risk of developing it.

You’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in keeping all the health information on the website up-to-date and in line with the Patient Information Forum’s PIF TICK quality standard. As well as coordinating and editing the team’s social media communications. Supporting the promotion of our resources both internally and externally, you’ll help to evaluate the effectiveness of the service we provide.

The role is responsible for making sure all our health information publications are in stock, so we deliver an effective health information service for men and their families affected by prostate cancer. You’ll also develop and maintain administrative systems to support the team’s work including financial processing.

This role is fixed term until end of October 2026 covering an internal secondment.

We’re looking for a pro-active and highly organised person to join our team. You’ll be self-motivated and able to multi-task, supporting a busy team while keeping on top of your own projects. You’ll have experience of communicating in plain English across multiple platforms including social media and our website. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of how medical and health-related information is produced to standard guidelines.

You’ll be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, you’ll be happy communicating with a wide range of people, from men with prostate cancer and their families to specialist clinicians and researchers.

For a large, global organisation, we are recruiting a Head of Group FP&A. Leading a team of 4, the Head of Group FP&A sits at the heart of Group and Global Finance, and leads Group MI, Reporting, Planning and Forecasting across the organisation. The role oversees cash and balance sheet forecasting for the Group and Subsidiaries and ensures insightful reporting to external stakeholders. Liaising with the Shared Service Centre, Centres of Excellence, and Regional finance teams, this role will shape and embed the implementation of new planning and reporting tools, and will work with the business to create best-in-class FP&A processes during a time of substantial change and transformation. The Head of Group FP&A will shape and embed a unified finance culture and service model and will deliver a new planning tool (Anaplan) as part of the Finance Transformation Programme across the UK, International Regions and Global Strategic Business Units, partnering with Regional FDs and Business Directors.

Main Duties:

• Provide first-class Group FP&A and MI reporting service globally and regionally, for all strategic business units
• Ensure all Group FP&A processes meet the organisation's strategy, objectives and TOM
• Drive continuous improvement using technology to achieve best practice in Group FP&A
• Provide high-quality, insightful MI for the Group, making improvements as needed
• Develop and improve balance sheet and cash forecasting for the Group to meet external stakeholder requirements and develop Group forecasting of income and expenditure and cash for all subsidiaries
• Support Treasury in the forecasting of trapped and restricted cash forecasts

We are recruiting to the role of Head of Finance, following the retirement of a long-standing member of staff. The role will be part of the Leadership Team at CPAS and report to the Director of Operations and Finance. The successful candidate will lead a small finance team and work collaboratively with Ministry and Support Teams to ensure our systems our efficient and well run.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have experience of managing a small team across the various finance functions. As part of an organisational wide programme to renew our digital systems, we are planning to start the process of selecting and implementing a new finance system in 2026 and the successful applicant will work with our IT and digital team to deliver the project. 

This is an exciting time at CPAS, as we move forward with our new strategy, covering 2025-2030. We are looking for someone who shares our vision and sees a strong Finance function as core to achieving our objectives. CPAS has strong reserves, and we want to ensure our current financial model enables us to invest in new areas of work and expand our influence and reach. You will be a team player and have experience of working at a senior finance level, able to ensure the detailed financial functions serve the complexities of our holiday operation, alongside our other income generating areas of work. BeSpace is a small but growing Christian charity with a big vision to see a future where every child has the opportunity to access creative reflective spaces to develop personal tools to pray, reflect and grow spiritually throughout their lives, helping churches, schools and communities to flourish.

We have seen incredible impact through developing prayer spaces in schools across Oxfordshire. Since 2010, over 65,000 children have experienced prayer spaces led by local churches, trained and resourced by us. About the opportunity
Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and wider Philanthropy Department, the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator will identify and cultivate fruitful partnerships with a range of small, medium and large businesses.
They will help maximise the potential of corporate and other organisations for funding, volunteer recruitment, and other philanthropic opportunities, to enable growth and sustainability for Action Tutoring. The Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer will work alongside the Head of Income, Partnerships and Communications to help deliver Rising Sun’s fundraising targets during this exciting period of growth for the charity.

The main focus of the role is finding, attracting and stewarding new funders to help deliver Rising Sun’s life changing services. You will write compelling funding proposals that demonstrate the impact of our services and how we meet funders’ requirements. You will build strong relationships with grant officers from various foundations, providing regular updates and communicating challenges, solutions and successes as appropriate to develop our reputation as an effective, reliable and trustworthy organisation.  Alongside this you will be nurturing our existing portfolio of funders to help prioritise multi-year funding.

Working with you in the Fundraising Team will be the Head of Income, Partnerships and Communications, Trusts and Foundations Officer, Community Fundraising Officer and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Team. As part of the team you will help to develop fundraising materials such as case studies, impact reports and cases for support.

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual who loves building and nurturing relationships and has a passion for fundraising. In addition, you will have excellent writing skills and experience of generating income from trusts and foundations to grow our income from this stream. As part of our committed team of approximately 50 staff, you will be contributing to the invaluable work of the Rising Sun and making a lasting difference to the lives of those who have experienced domestic abuse.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage part of Rising Sun’s portfolio of income and fundraising activities related to trusts and foundations.
• Keep the trusts and foundations stream of the funding pipeline healthy and up to date, carrying out research into new opportunities and meeting application deadlines. 
• Write compelling funding applications that answer funders’ questions and effectively communicate the mission, services and impact of Rising Sun.
• Develop appropriate fundraising tools, such as cases for support and impact reports.
• Support the Head of Income, Partnerships and Communications to write bids for commissioned services and government funding opportunities.
• Liaise internally across the organisation to become familiar with our services and stay up to date with current trends to feed into funding applications and develop project proposals.

About the Role

Are you enthusiastic about empowering families and ensuring access to the right support? We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Parent Carer Adviser to support families of children and young people with disabilities in the Earls Court area

In this role you will:

• Provide 1-to-1 advice and advocacy and group sessions in community setting
• Deliver information sessions or workshops to help families navigate support services.
• Offer tailored signposting to local, educational, health and social care resources.
• Develop strong relationships with professionals at all levels and advocate effectively when challenges arise

You will work from home and run regular sessions in the Earls Court area, collaborating with families and community partners to reduce isolation, promote access to entitlements, and support informed decision-making.

We are Looking for someone who:

• Has experience providing advice or advocacy to individuals in a community or voluntary sector setting.
• Has a knowledge and understanding of at least two of the following areas:
  • Adult/children social care
  • Special Education Needs and the Children and Families Act
  • Health (including mental health services, Continuing Health Care)
  • Housing
  • Youth services
• Understands the challenges faced by families of children with disabilities/ SEND.

The Role

Could you lead and inspire youth work across Wallingford and Didcot?

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic youth worker to take a lead role in delivering and developing our youth provision in both towns. You’ll lead our youth provision in Wallingford, which includes open-access youth clubs, detached, an LGBTQ+ youth group and holiday activities. You’ll also deliver youth work in Didcot and support our wider team. You’ll supervise and develop volunteers, champion youth voice, and ensure our provision responds to young people’s ever-changing needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing the community youth provision in Wallingford
• Building meaningful, trusted relationships with under-served young people to support their personal and social development
• Delivering youth work sessions in Wallingford and Didcot across open-access, detached, outreach and mentoring provision
