Location: Across Felix's London sites (Deptford, Enfield, Poplar, Park Royal, and Greenford), the role requires flexible work at various locations, with an option to work from home one day a week for administrative tasks. About The Felix Project
The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Our vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. We aim to reduce the negative impact food waste has on the environment by working with the food industry to rescue high quality surplus produce, that would otherwise have gone to waste. This food is sorted at one of our four depots or turned into meals in Felix’s Kitchen. It is then distributed to over 1,200 community organisations, such as food banks, homeless shelters and primary schools, all of whom are working within communities across London to feed people experiencing hunger.

Purpose of the Job
The Health & Safety Officer will support and report to the Health & Safety Lead to ensure that The Felix Project maintains compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food safety legislation. This role is integral in maintaining a safe working environment across all Felix sites by assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of robust health and safety systems. The Officer will work proactively with staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture, support operational improvements, and deliver H&S-related training and engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Support the Health & Safety Lead: Assist in the day-to-day management of health and safety processes, ensuring that all activities comply with relevant legislation and internal policies.
· Risk Assessments: Support the creation, review, and regular update of risk assessments (RAs) and safe systems of work (SSOWs) across various sites, ensuring all potential hazards are identified and managed appropriately.
· Incident Reporting: Support the management of the reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, ensuring all reports are accurate, timely, and followed up with corrective actions where necessary.
· Training and Induction: Support the delivery of health and safety training programs, inductions, and toolbox talks for staff and volunteers. Maintain records of all training and ensure they are kept up to date.
· Safety Inspections: Carry out regular safety inspections and contribute to internal audit processes to ensure high standards of compliance and housekeeping. Escalate issues and support local teams in resolving risks identified during audits or site visits. Report findings to the Health & Safety Lead and follow up on necessary actions.
· Documentation and Compliance: Maintain up-to-date health and safety records, including training logs, incident reports, and risk assessments. Ensure all documentation is compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
· Contractor Management: Assist in reviewing contractors’ health and safety compliance when they are working on behalf of The Felix Project.
· Communication: Foster a positive health and safety culture and encourage behavioural safety across all teams by communicating updates, guidance, and key messages. Assist in developing campaigns and initiatives during safety weeks or other safety-focused events.
· Audit Support: Assist in preparing for internal and external health and safety audits, ensuring all documentation and procedures are in place and compliant.
· Food Safety: Support the implementation of food safety management systems, ensuring compliance with the Fareshare food manual and external audit requirements.
· Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives that promote a positive health and safety culture within the organization.
· Emergency Procedures: Assist in the development and testing of emergency procedures, including fire drills, evacuation plans, and first aid provisions.
· Support Projects: Provide administrative and practical support for any health and safety projects or initiatives led by the Health & Safety Lead.
Person Specification
Essential Skills/Knowledge
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practices.
- Experience in an administrative or supportive role within a health and safety environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and positive attitude towards health and safety.

ILPA is a charity and professional membership body working to improve immigration, asylum and nationality law. Our training programme is a core part of our work and one of our largest income streams. In 2024/25 we delivered 67 courses and conferences to more than 2,300 practitioners across the UK, supporting lawyers, caseworkers, advisers and organisations working with migrants.
We are recruiting a Training Manager to run this programme end to end. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organisation, confidence with digital platforms and the ability to work with experienced external tutors. The post holder will shape the training calendar with support from the Training Advisory Board and maintain ILPA’s reputation for high-quality, practitioner-led training.
Key Responsibilities
Programme planning and development

About the Role
This role will lead Media Trust’s climate work. As Senior Programme Manager, you will run our flagship Communicating Climate programme and lead Media Trust’s work on the Diverse Voices programme. You will help us further develop our climate work and ensure our existing programmes are cutting edge and meet the demands of this moment.
This role will directly manage our Communicating Climate programme. The Senior Programme Manager will build on the success of the past five years of the programme and further develop the programme content and structure to maximise impact for participating organisations. With support from a programme co-ordinator, you will ensure the smooth delivery of the programme, including recruiting and managing a cohort of climate organisations; overseeing the budget and timeline; managing our relationships with funders, trainers and partners; and impact evaluation and reporting.
You will also oversee our role in the Diverse Voices programme, which works to amplify the voices of people and communities most impacted by climate change. The programme is run by a consortium of organisations, including Race Equality Foundation, Turn2Us and Disability Rights UK. Media Trust is the media partner, delivering communications-related training and support to the participants.
Your line manager will be Media Trust’s Head of Charity Services and the role will sit within our charity services team. This Senior Programme Manager role does not currently have any direct line management responsibilities.
Please note that whilst this is a remote role, the Media Trust team meets in-person in London on a monthly basis and regular travel to London for meetings and events is required.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Management of our climate programmes, including:

Lead our Communicating Climate programme, ensuring it is high quality, innovative and tailored to the needs and priorities of climate and environmental organisations

Recruit and build successive new cohorts of climate charities, user-led organisations and community groups, supporting them through the programme to ensure high levels of engagement and collaboration

The Royal Meteorological Society is the UK’s professional and learned Society for Weather and Climate and is respected around the world for its contribution to meteorology. The Society is a charity and its programmes of work include providing professional accreditation, developing educational resources and skills, producing scientific publications, holding public and professional meetings and events, giving advice to Government and policy makers, and a growing role in providing information to the public on the science of weather and climate change.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support an exciting project called the State of the Climate for the Agri-Food Sector, which we are delivering in partnership with the Met Office. This project aims to contribute to the evidence base of current impacts of climate change on the agri-food sector in the UK. This role is ideal for someone with strong research skills and an interest in weather and climate and the influence on the agri-food sector.
Roles and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for the following but will be expected to meet with the project team once a month and come to the kick-off meeting and launch event. There is also scope for involvement in the communication and dissemination of the work throughout the program.
The responsibilities and timeline are set out as follows:
- Update the research protocol with the project team (Q1)
- Evidence and Data Synthesis from publicly available data sources and data provided by project partners (Q1):
- Carry out evidence synthesis
- Compile results from synthesis
- Share results with stakeholders
- Indicator co-production workshop (Q1)
- With the project team identify key stakeholders for an indicator workshop
- Share results from evidence and data synthesis to support the discussion
- Co-deliver the running of the workshop
- Write a draft report of the outcomes and agreed indicators
- Develop Agri-Food Case Studies which will form part of a resource hub (Q2/Q3)
- Run online focus groups
- Develop case studies of transformative adaptation taking place in the UK
- Share case studies with stakeholders
- Final Report and Roadmap (Q2/Q3)
- Lead the write up of the final technical report
- Develop roadmap of the annual process
- Project wrap up feeding into planning for 2027 cycle (Q4)
Required Skills and Competencies
The required skills and competencies that the Society view as important for this role are:
Essential:
- Hold or carrying out a research degree and be either a student or an early career researcher/professional (i.e. MPhil, MSc, PhD); Background or strong interest in agri-food, weather and climate is highly preferred.
- Experience in academic or applied research including with quantitative analysis. Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, professional documentation for external stakeholders
- Self-starter with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Confidence to chair and organise focus groups and workshop with stakeholders
- A friendly and open-minded approach, with strong interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with indicator development
- Skilled in programming in R and/or Python

Recruitment information and timetable
Funding: The salary range is £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience. This is advertised as a full-time position; however, we are open to flexible arrangements. For example, the role could be structured as a secondment from industry or academia; or offered on a part-time basis for a set number of days per week.

About The Role
Kingston Bereavement Support (KBS) is the only bereavement service in Kingston Upon Thames. We are a registered provider to local GPs and an organisational member of the Childhood Bereavement Network. We are organisational members of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and we work in accordance with their Ethical Framework.
The Service Manager will provide strategic leadership in the development and delivery of a high-quality service for our clients. This role will drive continuous learning, service improvements, and strong partnership engagement to ensure that KBS provides the best support possible. We are looking for a committed and passionate person who can work as part of a small team to provide a professional, effective, and quality service, ensuring that equal opportunities are available for everyone.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of managing experienced staff including personal development and objective setting.
- Experience of managing, monitoring and evaluating service or organisation provision.
- Practical experience of operational functions, ideally including IT, finance and marketing.

About the Role
As Finance Manager, you will oversee the operational finance function and ensure the organisation maintains accurate, reliable and compliant financial records. You will line manage a team of Finance Officers, lead on financial reporting, support statutory accounts preparation, and ensure all financial processes meet regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing the finance team

About You
You will be a part qualified Accountant (CIPFA, CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly relating to FRS 102 and SORP. You will bring experience managing a finance team and have excellent attention to detail, analytical capability and a strong understanding of financial controls, compliance and reporting.

- Technical accounting expertise and experience preparing or supporting statutory accounts
- Previous team management within a finance setting
