About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Mental Health & Wellbeing Project Worker to contribute to the development and delivery of flexible support services which address the psychological and emotional needs of children, young people and families living with the effects of domestic abuse, in North Tyneside and Northumberland. You will help to develop, organise and facilitate key aspects of the service as requested by the Team Coordinator such one-to-one support interventions, group work, and youth participation opportunities in a variety of settings including in-house, schools and community venues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver flexible one to one support sessions, using a range of interventions to assess and positively contribute to the individual wellbeing needs of children and young people impacted by domestic abuse.
• Support service users, particularly within the 11-16 age group to develop personal and life skills, promoting self-esteem and independence, and raising awareness of other support services and opportunities available to them and their families.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of group work, activities and events, including the continued development of service user participation
• Work in partnership with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure coordinated care and refer service users to additional sources of help and protection as needed.
• Adhere to safeguarding, confidentiality, and equal opportunities policies while maintaining accurate and confidential records, reporting appropriately, and complying with organisational guidelines.
• Participate in training, supervision, and team activities, contributing flexibly to service development and supporting broader organisational goals as required by management.

About You

• Holds qualifications and relevant experience in social care, childcare, youth work, or a therapeutic field
• Experience working directly with children and young people with an excellent understanding of common issues relating to child development, mental health and wellbeing
• Experienced in one-to-one casework, group facilitation, youth programmes, and multi-agency working, with a proven ability to assess needs and connect individuals to appropriate support services.
• Effective communicator with the ability to engage sensitively and non-judgementally with service users, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to empowering individuals.

About the Role

As Advice Manager, you’ll take a strategic lead on developing our advice service to ensure it is accessible and high-quality, and also actively challenge the root causes of inequality. The Advice Manager will have wide ranging responsibilities for the performance, quality assurance and development of internal advice services and will be responsible for achieving and evidencing high quality positive outcomes for service users.

You will Manage our advice teams: Information Navigation, Benefits Advice, Money Advice and our benefits advice contract with South West London and St Georges. We also administer a number of grants on behalf of local grant giving charities and the local authority and you will manage the administration of these grant funds.

Main purpose of post
To provide high-level, confidential administrative and strategic support to the
CEO and Deputy CEO, enabling them to focus on leadership priorities by

The Catholic Diocese of Northampton covers the traditional counties of Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, together with the town of Slough, a Unitary Authority within Berkshire.

There are 69 principal parishes with another 26 "satellite churches", chapels of ease, and a few more Mass centres in private schools and other institutions. In this role, you will be managed by Lydia Baker. Lydia joined ClientEarth in August 2024 and in her role as a Grants Manager is responsible for managing relationships with key funders. Lydia has worked in the NGO sector for over eight years and has expertise in a variety of functions including grant management, programme management, communications and monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning.  On a day-to-day basis you will work closely with Lydia as part of an established Grants Team that sits within the Development Department at ClientEarth.

Main Duties

• Funding portfolio management - Have a close and in-depth knowledge of their grants portfolio, including a sound understanding of the philanthropic, institutional and statutory funding mix;
• Internal and external communications - Meet with Trust, Foundation and Institution portfolio managers to discuss proposals, provide updates on the programmatic work, and to formally report back on financial, organisational and technical issues; 
• Project management - Effectively manage reporting and the grant renewal process from start to completion including working with multiple teams across ClientEarth’s European and international offices to ensure input from all avenues to complete proposals and reports in a timely and high-quality manner; and 
• Financial planning and budget handling - Work with Finance and Programmes staff to develop individual budgets for funding proposals
• Systems and processes - Maintain funder database systems (Raiser’s Edge) and other organisational databases (SharePoint) on a daily basis

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to conduct advanced statistical modelling as part of a major research project at RoSPA, funded by the Lloyd’s Register Foundation whose World Risk Poll dataset will be analysed in this work. The project will assess the links between socioeconomic inequalities and workplace harms on a global scale. You will be central to designing, conducting and writing up this ground-breaking research project with the support of the wider policy team. An ability to conduct regression analyses on large datasets, work independently, design research programmes and manage your time effectively will be crucial for this role. 

This would be an ideal role for recent master’s or PhD graduates or someone completing a research degree, though we welcome candidates from all backgrounds.

Key responsibilities:

• To use advanced statistical skills (including regression analysis) and other research and writing skills to support the delivery on time and to the required standard of a report on global inequalities and workplace safety for the Lloyd’s Register Foundation Grant ‘How does inequality shape the risk of unintentional injury at work?’.
• To work with the Research Manager and Programme and Impact Manager to track and plan the delivery of this project, and to update them on progress
• To actively support the launch of the report, including through providing relevant internal stakeholders with insights into the findings and research process.
• To support the dissemination of these findings to a wide audience, including non-specialists.
• To support the wider Policy Directorate with occasional ad hoc research tasks and associated work.

Do you have…

Qualifications and experience:

• A postgraduate qualification in or involving a significant component on statistical methods for social sciences or public health (desirable)
• A good undergraduate degree in the above and excellent numerical literacy (essential)
• The ability to conduct regression analyses and other advanced statistical techniques (essential)
• Experience with carrying out research, including research design, literature review and writing up (essential)

Knowledge and skills:

• Ability to conduct regression analyses and design research programmes
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal – including the ability to communicate complex technical findings to non-experts
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• Ability to work effectively independently

About the role 

As our chief strategy and governance officer, you’ll report directly to the chief executive and play a key leadership role as part of Sense’s chief officers’ group. You’ll lead business planning, performance, risk, governance, safeguarding, health and safety, internal audit and project management across the charity—ensuring strategy and delivery are aligned at every level. 

You’ll also serve as company secretary and oversee our legal and regulatory compliance with the Charity commission and Companies house, while championing an inclusive approach to governance that empowers disabled people with complex needs. With a team of senior leaders reporting into you, you’ll shape culture, drive improvement, and model the leadership values that make Sense a truly people-centred organisation. 

This is a hybrid role based from either Birmingham or London, with frequent travel.

What you'll do 

• Lead the delivery of Sense’s strategy through robust business planning and performance frameworks.
• Oversee impact measurement and risk management, enabling evidence-led decision-making.
• Act as company secretary, ensure legal and regulatory compliance and high-quality support for our board of trustees and their committees.
• Provide executive leadership of safeguarding and health and safety, fostering a proactive culture of learning.
• Create an environment for project and programme management across Sense that enables clear oversight of delivery through a values-led Project management office.
• Manage internal audit via external providers, ensuring assurance and continuous improvement.

About you
