Open Age is seeking a passionate and experienced Project Coordinator to lead our unpaid carers service for people aged 50+ in Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea.

We’re looking for someone who understands the challenges of the caring role, has experience in developing and delivering engaging activities with participants, and is confident in capturing outcomes, gathering data, and producing high-quality monitoring reports. You’ll be highly organised, flexible, and responsive in your approach, with the ability to manage competing demands effectively.

This is a part-time role (28 hours per week) offered on a short-term contract of up to six months (end date 31st March 2026) with the possibility of extension subject to funding. The salary is £29,000 per annum pro rata. The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

At Single Homeless Project's (SHP) Elms, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Support Assistant ready to make a lasting difference in people's lives. Elms is a vibrant service based in Leyton (Waltham Forest) that brings together supported housing, a daytime activity programme, and a small floating support service. The supported housing element provides longer-term placements for adults with a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia, some of whom may also be managing physical health needs. Here, you’ll play a vital role in supporting residents to maintain their daily routines, manage their treatment, and grow in confidence as they move toward greater independence. From encouraging healthy eating and personal care to assisting with medication prompts and helping to keep living spaces welcoming and safe, you’ll be a consistent and trusted presence in their journey.

You’ll also contribute to our lively day service, where activities like bowling, lunch clubs and gardening groups help individuals reconnect with their community, learn new skills, and find joy in shared experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as part of our Active Journeys South and East team covering projects across London and South East, where you will help shape healthier, happier communities through walking, wheeling, and cycling. 

As Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the design, delivery, and oversight of behaviour change and engagement projects, as well as leading and supporting the delivery team. You’ll be at the heart of creating positive change, ensuring projects are cost-efficient, timely, and impactful. 

You will be involved with exciting projects such as Wheels4Me London and Moveability (East Sussex) funded by the Motability Foundation. About Us:

The Cowrie Scholarship Foundation, established in June 2020 (Charity Number 1191471), was set up to enable economically disadvantaged black British students to attend UK universities by providing full scholarships.  Black British students are found to be under-represented at many of our universities, and individuals from affluent areas are five times more likely than those from deprived areas to attend a high-tariff university ranked in the top third by entry requirements. While many issues are at play in why more Black British students do not enter university – we aim to remove one fundamental obstacle – the financial cost of university education. 

The Foundation has already allocated over 50 scholarships and maintains a busy annual schedule of activity across partner and scholarship management; fundraising, communications and governance. 

Key focus:

1. Support the founder and Project Manager with day-to-day administration of the charity;

2. Support the founder, board and Project Manager to develop strong relationships with core university and business partners, ambassadors, supporters, Scholars, alumni, and Friends of Cowrie;

3. Support with marketing and communications, especially social media planning and  scheduling; 

4. Support the running of the mentoring programme for Cowrie Scholars;

5. Support the Project Manager in the administration and running of the charity;

6. Liaising with Scholars and universities to share opportunities and information.

About the role:

The role is offered on an initial basis of 6 months’ probation to be upgraded to a year, with the opportunity to renew. 

A weekly commitment of 8 hours per week will be paid at £22 per hour. Times worked will be negotiable, but it is hoped that some key hours could be worked on a Thursday to support the founder. 

The role is virtual and it is expected that the successful candidate will provide all their own working equipment, including a computer and office space. Annual opportunities to meet up with the board in person will be available, but attendance for the Project Administrator is not mandatory. 

Duties to include:

• Day to day running of the charity’s ‘virtual’ office (email / Microsoft Office /  Beacon CRM database / Google Drive);

• Managing correspondence and email filing;

Communications & Events

Consultancy Terms 

The role will be on an initial six month consultancy contract with the opportunity, on joint agreement between the Charity and consultant, to extend to a further 6 months and by negotiation thereafter. 

• Hours – Flexible working hours across the week. Occasional early evening board meetings (~2 hours, 3-4 times per year).

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

We are now recruiting the team that will deliver Crisis at Christmas 2025. This unique project mobilises a huge volunteering effort to provide warmth, companionship and vital services in temporary centres across London to people facing homelessness.

About the role

The post-holder will lead a team of advocates working with adults and young people across NHS and private hospitals and the local community.

You will be required to provide line management support, be the point of contact for our stakeholders and ensure high quality delivery of our advocacy contracts.

Key responsibilities

î  Lead the delivery of assigned advocacy services actively encouraging your team to contribute to service planning, quality improvement and development.

î  Ensure the team provides instructed and non-instructed advocacy and signposting, working to the advocacy empowerment cycle and actively promoting self-advocacy throughout all work with service users where practicable.

î  Ensure the team capture high quality advocacy notes, outcomes information and other evidence into the Case Management System in a timely manner.

î  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new legislation and reports and current trends and issues in mental health, mental capacity, care act, and health and social care legislation, local and national policy relating to people with mental health issues and disseminate across your team.

î  Ensure quality standards are achieved by implementing operational policies and procedures to maintain professional and consistent advocacy services.

î  Ensure contracts are delivered within budget, to agreed key performance indicators, case work standards and monitoring requirements, eg producing reports including quarterly monitoring reports.

î  Lead on raising awareness of the advocacy service to service users and potential referrers.

î  Ensure referrals are allocated efficiently, appropriately and within the requirements of the contract.

î  Provide support and supervision to your staff team including professional development, appraisals, team meetings and work review meetings, and organisational activities such as CPD lectures and staff briefings.

Essential

As Project Officer, you’ll be the organisational anchor for the team – keeping things running smoothly through excellent admin, communication, and project support. Who are we?

London Gypsies and Travellers (LGT) is an organisation that challenges social exclusion and discrimination, working for change in partnership with Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller people. We work with families across London Boroughs, including those living on council caravan sites, roadside camps, in bricks and mortar housing, and those experiencing homelessness.

Our Bright Futures programme offers mentoring and skills support to young Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller people aged 15–25 years. Through tailored one-to-one work, group activities and practical help, we support young people to build confidence, motivation and pride in their identity, while developing the tools they need to succeed in wider society.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a motivated and organised Youth Project Worker to support the delivery of Bright Futures. This is a varied role that combines project coordination, outreach support, administration, and direct engagement with young people.

You’ll help keep the programme running smoothly behind the scenes while also building trusted relationships with partner services and young people and families, supporting communications, and contributing to learning and reflection.

What will the role involve?

As a Youth Project Worker, you will:

• Support the day-to-day administration of the mentoring and employability programme, including record-keeping and report preparation
• Help coordinate communications activities such as creating new material, WhatsApp updates, and social media
• Maintain and grow referral networks with employers, training providers, and community organisations
• Engage directly with young people and their families to raise awareness and encourage participation
• Hold a light caseload of mentees and support mentoring activities as needed
• Contribute to programme monitoring, evaluation, and learning
