To support the range and depth of partnerships we have and the potential we see, we are looking for a Partnerships Manager to work primarily on building partnerships with Local Authorities and public sector organisations, charities and social enterprises, faith-based and inclusion-focused organisations and other groups who might help us strategically grow and resource the Warm Welcome network across the UK (NB Corporate Partnerships are managed by our newly appointed Fundraising Lead for Corporates). The Partnerships Manager will also help develop our support for Warm Welcome Spaces, including overseeing our Champions Programme which offers more intense support and a Community of Practice to a smaller cohort of local groups.

Responsibilities
Building Partnerships

This will involve identifying and engaging partners in geographical ‘cold spots’ for the network (utilising our mapping tool developed with UCL), as well as forming partnerships to unlock new or under-represented types of Warm Welcome Spaces (e.g. Housing Association Community Spaces, cinemas, community spaces created by new housing developments etc).
● Leading the development of our Local Co-ordinators Cluster which brings together Local Authorities and others who are leading place-based networks of community spaces.
● Overseeing and developing the Champions Programme, providing more intensive support and connections to a smaller cohort of Warm Welcome Spaces.
Engagement and Inclusion
● Developing our Inclusion Strategy to identify and engage the best potential partners to diversify our Coalition and support local Spaces to become more accessible and inclusive.
● Working with the team to develop regular engagement activities for Warm Welcome Partners.
● Producing compelling communications (written and verbal) to promote the work of the Warm Welcome Campaign and grow the depth and breadth of partnerships - to include but not limited to partnership proposals, pitches and reports.

● Supporting, maintaining and developing existing partnerships and manage the systems (including CRM use) needed for excellent partnerships delivery, stewardship and development.
● Leading Warm Welcome Space good practice and driving up quality standards across the network, including through developing a Warm Welcome Awards programme.

Main responsibilities and accountabilities
· Lead, direct and manage the finance and operations functions, overseeing two direct reports, ensuring they deliver a high-quality service to all internal and external stakeholders and are seen as adding value, in enabling Career Ready to achieve its vision and strategic objectives through its people.
· Continue the delivery of a project plan reflecting the 2025-30 strategy, ensuring that activities happen at pace, are deadline-driven and achieve a high level of impact.
· Assume overall responsibility for the financial management of Career Ready, working with the SMT to ensure high quality and effective use of charitable funds.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Senior Research Manager to manage the monitoring, evaluation and learning activities of a high profile National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) portfolio of translational, clinical and applied health research infrastructure funding schemes.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Assistant Director, the post holder will work closely with the rest of the infrastructure team (especially the Programme Leads and Senior Research Managers who are responsible for the development and management of the infrastructure schemes), and with Data Analytics colleagues (who are responsible for designing systems for capturing, cleaning and presenting data), to manage the infrastructure reporting and evaluation activities. At an award level, you will develop, improve and maintain monitoring and reporting processes, and at a scheme level, you will implement monitoring, evaluation and learning approaches, including overseeing the delivery and/or commissioning of impact evaluations. You will support a wider programme around visibility and the strategic use of data within infrastructure, considering links to policy directives around Busting Bureaucracy, the developing NIHR digital strategy and system operability issues with NHS and University systems.

You’ll be testing these questions, finding ways to break them, working out where equivalents don’t work when they should - or shouldn’t - using your mathematical knowledge in a unique way.

Customer support. We receive around a dozen emails to our support inbox each day from teachers and students who need help with account management and users who’ve spotted something that’s broken. We’re seeking someone who can efficiently problem solve account issues and act as a detective: working out how to replicate an issue a user is having, effectively document it, and pass it onto our devs to fix.

Social media administration. Jamie might be the face of our social media channels it couldn’t happen without support around the edges. That includes captioning/transcription, adding titles and descriptions, and using our site tooling to link videos to our platform. Some of this is routine, but some requires judgement and social media nous, like deciding on what makes for an effective caption.
Beyond these duties, we intend on making the most of the appointee’s strengths to delve deeper into at least one of these areas with dedicated projects to be presented to the management team. We’re looking for a Senior Engagement & Change Officer to help bring Samaritans’ internal engagement plan to life, supporting how we communicate, engage and inspire our staff and volunteers across the UK and Ireland. You’ll play a vital role in shaping our internal culture and driving positive, inclusive change across the organisation.
Working alongside key stakeholders, including senior staff and volunteer leaders, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering impactful internal communication plans to support key projects and campaigns, helping us explain changes, showcase achievements, share stories and save lives.
About the Contract
- 12 month fixed term contract
- £38,000 to £42,500 per annum depending on experience plus benefits
- Full time (35 hours per week)
- Hybrid working - linked to our Ewell (Surrey) office with home and office working
- Office based working encouraged as a minimum of 2 days per month

About the Role
- Lead change engagement – Provide expert change management support for key cross-organisational projects, ensuring our people feel heard, informed and involved.
- Engage and connect – Support the delivery of our internal engagement plan, ensuring volunteers and staff across all locations are kept engaged and connected.
- Listen and act – Help manage our biennial engagement surveys, delve into the results, and project manage the follow-up actions that truly make a difference.
- Create compelling communications – Write and coordinate thoughtful, clear and inclusive internal communications that support key changes and build trust.
- Build capability – Support colleagues in developing their own communication and engagement skills, helping us embed good practice across teams.
- Champion collaboration – Work closely with senior leaders, teams, and volunteers, including the Executive Leadership Team and Board members – to keep engagement aligned with our values.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience managing change and engagement projects, ideally across complex organisations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work with senior staff and volunteers.
- A genuine commitment to positive staff and volunteer experience, diversity and inclusion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt tone and style.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, well-organised and solutions-focused approach.
- Experience working in a charity or not-for-profit setting, and/or with volunteers, would be beneficial.
