About your team 

You’ll be joining our brilliant South Region team, which covers our largest region from Kent to Cornwall, offering numerous opportunities to contribute your expertise in a variety of contexts, from urban and suburban to coastal and rural settings. Across the south region, we currently work with 130 churches and have 150 faith guides, we’d like to see these numbers grow significantly over the next few years. 

In the south region we have the highest density of Christian holidays and festivals, with events that we organise and run directly and a variety of festival and missions that we support and partner with. You’ll have a fantastic opportunity each summer to get hands on engaged in these mission and festivals throughout the year. 

Our South Region also includes our vibrant capital, one of the most multicultural and ethnically diverse cities in the world, with over 300 languages spoken. With many like-minded missional organisations having a footprint in and around the capital, and all of the Christian movements and denominations represented here, London holds key strategic value and will be the focus of your ministry activities. Sex Education Forum was founded in 1987 and became an independent charity in 2021. You will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. The post holder will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to support Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.

The Recruitment team is responsible for sourcing, selecting and hiring for 500 places for Approach Social Work (previously known as the Frontline programme) in local authorities across England.

You will be joining us at our busiest time, and will have day to day logistical and administration responsibilities with focus on supporting applicants through the selection stages of our programme, Approach Social Work.

You will work with the Selection team and share responsibilities between other Selection Coordinators to ensure the delivery of a highly effective and efficient recruitment process and to ensure the candidate experience is positive throughout. This role would suit someone who has had some experience interacting with customers, for example in admin support, retail, hospitality, customer service, or similar.

Please note that ‘Administrator’ is the title we use for advertising. Internally, administrators are known as ‘Coordinators’ so this role’s full title is Selection Coordinator.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating virtual assessment centres; manage scheduling, liaising with assessors and stakeholders, troubleshooting minor technical issues with the platform, and overseeing the smooth running of the day.
• Managing the logistics involved in planning and delivering over 40 assessment centre days (e.g. responding to candidate queries, monitoring candidate sign up, scheduling assessors).
• Tracking and monitoring candidate information using our online customer relationship management system, virtual assessment platform and Microsoft Excel using careful attention to detail.

A little bit about you 

We welcome applicants with some experience in customer service, administration, or logistics coordination. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented and excels at managing multiple tasks and priorities. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who can support candidates through the selection process, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure smooth operations at assessment centers.

We have a fast-moving culture within the team and organisation, so we’re looking for someone who is who is well organised, details-focused and can use their initiative to do what works. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with people and be willing to learn. We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager to join our Communications and Sales Team.

The Marketing Manager will plan, manage and deliver the Lyric’s marketing and audience development campaigns to achieve financial targets and maximise attendance across all activity, with a focus on Theatre productions. The Marketing Manager will support the wider Communications and Sales team to ensure activity reaches the broadest possible audience, highlighting our impact and positively developing our reach and reputation.

Working closely with the Director of Communications & Sales, Senior Marketing Manager, Sales & Box Office Manager and Press & Marketing Assistant, they will support the delivery of the wider strategy of positioning the Lyric as an important part of London’s vibrant theatre scene.
