Role overview:

As a member of MTL’s senior management team, you will take responsibility for the organisation’s growth and outward facing initiatives. You will lead and manage the organisation’s portfolio of social mobility leadership strands, and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders. You will provide dynamic day-to-day leadership for the MTL’s directorate responsible for income generation, impact, research, communications and policy, and ensure the organisation continues to be an exemplar of innovation, integrity and collaboration. You will also be contributing to, implementing and monitoring delivery of the organisation’s strategic plan.

Job Title: Music and Merchandise Executive

Location: Hybrid (with a minimum of one day per week in the London office). Candidates should ideally reside in the Greater London area as there is a requirement to be able to travel across the area to attend meetings and events.

About the role:

This is a home based role that will include travel across England and Wales when delivering training. You will be working within a specific project that delivers learning externally to other organisations outside of VS. Your primary goal will be to design and deliver high quality learning interventions based on what our customers need.

As an External Trainer you will:

• Manage, coordinate and deliver professional, engaging and interactive training sessions to external clients using a range of facilitation methods, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed training objectives, materials and quality standards.
• Lead on the design and development of bespoke learning content to meet client needs and support strategic goals.

Purpose of the Role:

As a key leader within our Partnerships and Income Development team, you will be responsible for creating, developing and delivering the Social Mobility Foundation’s Employer Programme – how we inform, influence and positively impact employer-led social mobility, and a source of income generation.

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships and Income Development, you’ll be the custodian of the Social Mobility Employer Index (SMEI) – our annual benchmarking and assessment tool for how UK employers recruit, retain and develop talent from all socioeconomic backgrounds and build inclusive workplaces. You'll have full product ownership, managing the delivery lifecycle from end-to-end: from marketing, to pipeline development and entrant submissions, data analysis, reporting and evaluation, as well as ongoing development and improvement.

In addition, by collaborating with existing partners who offer pro-bono consultancy, you’ll scope, develop and deliver new products, resources and services that equip employers with the knowledge and practical tools to improve social mobility in the workplace.

About the role

My View Project provides one-to-one psychological therapy, group therapy and Psychoeducational Workshops to unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and young people presenting with mental distress. The project has adapted a psychosocial perspective using our Therapeutic Care Model to address the identified needs of clients using a holistic approach. The team have supported unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and young people by providing therapeutic support since 2015.

The purpose of this post is to provide therapeutic intervention to unaccompanied children and young people who have often been through traumatic experiences, including being trafficked, abused and having witnessed horrific events, as a result of upheaval in their country of origin and along their journey to survival.

Therapy at My View is delivered alongside casework support delivered by a caseworker who supports clients with any issues such as age assessment, housing, access to healthcare, benefits, school enrolment etc. 

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Therefore, all convictions, cautions and bind-overs, including those regarded as ‘spent’, must be declared at the application stage.

Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week.

Contract: Fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027.

The opportunity:

Friends of Moorfields

The Friends of Moorfields is a registered charity supporting the patients and staff at Moorfields Eye Hospital, a world centre of excellence for the specialist treatment of eye diseases.

The Friends provide a range of services to support the work of the hospital – including the purchase of clinical equipment – and manage a team of volunteers.

The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-starting individual looking to develop a career across the breadth of communications, media and PR in the digital age. Based at Moorfields Eye Hospital, the post holder will be inspired by the difference Friends staff and volunteers make to patients and staff at Moorfields. They will be passionate about seeking the most engaging ways to communicate across digital and social media platforms. They will work closely with the health hub, shop and volunteer team and will be committed to raising the profile and awareness of Friends of Moorfields.

The post-holder will be an all-rounder; someone who is comfortable working on their own initiative, is well organised, and who enjoys the challenges of supporting a small and friendly team. They will be supported to grow and develop in this role, through an active approach to training and development, and through a positive and empowering working environment.

Key Accountabilities

1. To promote Friends externally and manage our website content.

As The Childhood Trust’s Volunteer Manager, you’ll be responsible for volunteers across the organisation.

The role

The responsibility for the Programme Lead is to support the organisation to deliver its strategy and live Scope’s story of change. They will work with goal groups and mission based teams. This will include designing and running workshops to help us develop our strategy and plan our activity to deliver it.

Goal groups play an important role to keep Scope focussed on the impact we want to see. The Programme Lead will manage goal groups and introduce cross-functional planning. Enabling strategy to translated into delivery. The role will develop sessions with the goal groups, ensuring objectives are set and collating insight.

Continuous improvement will be a priority, due to our new ways of working. The Programme Lead will run retrospectives and use feedback to ensure Scope is set up to deliver it’s strategy. They will establish mechanisms for learning and improving. Using findings, they will report and influence key stakeholders. This includes colleagues of all levels across the organisation.

About you

We are looking for someone who can bring out the best in colleagues across Scope. You should enjoy working with others and value collaboration. It’s important that you include diverse voices. You will have the ability to shape activity collaboratively.

Finance Officer – Church & Community Transformation (CCT)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated CCT Finance Officer to provide excellent and responsive financial support to our Church & Community Transformation (CCT) team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of CCT project financial reporting, monitoring global CCT budgets, and communicating budget versus actual information to key project staff and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide proactive and responsive support for budgeting, financial planning, and reporting activities within the CCT team.

About You:

• You hold an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or are part-qualified (CCAB or similar professional accountancy qualification).
• You have solid experience in project budgeting, planning, and forecasting, with a proven ability to ensure accurate financial reporting and provide commentary on variances.
• You possess a strong understanding of multi-currency accounting and systems.
• You have first-class communication skills (verbal and written), excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work on your own initiative.
• You are computer literate, experienced in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel, and proficient in producing financial reports.
• Willingness and availability to travel abroad is essential.

What can we offer you? 

The salary band for this role is £32,000 - £34,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.

Protect, the UK’s leading whistleblowing charity, is looking for an exceptional public-spirited Policy & Advocacy Officer, who will lead our anti-corruption work. The role is currently funded by the Joffe Charitable Trust. The role is 3 days (22.5hours) per week; can be spread over 3-5 days.  

The role is London based with hybrid and remote working options & occasional travel to Westminster. 

The role will entail proactively looking for advocacy opportunities and working with the Policy Team in Protect to progress important public policies, which further the protection of whistleblowers, support safe speaking up and tackle corruption in the UK.
