The A B Charitable Trust exists to promote human dignity and defend the human rights of the most marginalised and excluded people. Our journey
The Trust was founded 35 years ago to promote and defend human dignity. Since then, we have given over £47m to organisations, and this year we will spend some £10m. We have significantly increased our grantmaking over recent years and intend to continue on a trajectory of growth. This role will join us as we look to the longer term future and begin to develop a new strategy that will build on all that is being achieved through our current strategy, which ends in 2027.
We are excited by the future and are fortunate to have a modest but growing budget which is expected to reach £15m by 2027. But we are realistic about the challenges involved. About the role and you
The key purpose of this role is to:
- Effectively manage a portfolio or grants across all of our priority areas
- Work closely with the team, grant holders and Board members, developing strong and supportive working relationships
- Contribute to the development of our new strategy and be committed to our values and share our aspirations around best grantmaking practice
The new Grants Manager will need to be genuinely interested in grantmaking in our priority areas and will have the curiosity to learn and develop new areas of knowledge and expertise. You will need to be able to demonstrate a passion for the work of small, grassroots organisations, have emotional intelligence and strong communications skills, and also be genuinely excited about joining our team.
This could be the right opportunity for a range of potential candidates. We value the knowledge and expertise gained through lived experience of social injustice alongside sector experience. We’re not looking for a seasoned grant maker but you will need to bring commitment to our work and vision, demonstrate experience of seeking to bring about change on tough issues, and have experience of one or more of our priority areas.

The purpose of this role is to provide leadership, oversight and curation to the FYT Leadership Team, and to lead the smooth running of the FYT Organisation which supports the wider FYT Movement. - Develop, implement and monitor FYT’s strategic plan in partnership with the FYT team and board
- Engage in practical theological reflection on FYT’s mission and how it is expressed.
- Attend and contribute as required to Board meetings, working closely with the Chair and Board to ensure that appropriate issues are raised, and that any agreed action is put into effect.
- Be an advocate for marginalised young people, the issues they face, and youth workers and projects working with them (pursuing prophetic mischief, provocation, and taking up our unique space in the youth ministry community).
- Make links with appropriate Christian, voluntary and statutory bodies and to represent FYT in appropriate forums and pursue opportunities for collaborative working.
- Support the active promotion of the FYT training and resource offer.

Other functions:
- Meet regularly with Line Manager for supervision.
- Undertake administration and keep necessary work records.
- Comply with all FYT policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the FYT leadership team and Board to ensure that organisational policies are regularly reviewed.
- Engage in CPD/lifelong learning.
- Undertake any other tasks that may be requested, commensurate with the nature and level of the post and as may be required by the Board of Trustees.
Additional Information
- The Leadership Team is supported by a contract with Giraffe HR that assists in the day to day running of the organisation, primarily managing the finances of the organisation.
- Engagement in ongoing, regular youth work with marginalised young people is not a requirement of this post, but encouraged. FYT will be flexible where possible in order to facilitate this.

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for creating a rich and varied online experience for Hospice UK’s supporters. Your goal is to use these to inspire our public audiences to get behind our mission to make sure end of life care is there for everyone who needs it.
You’ll be a key member of our External Affairs directorate, and you’ll manage our digital content and marketing team, leading the delivery of key campaign and marketing content and products. You’ll have a sophisticated understanding of how to get our audiences’ attention through effective use of tools including Meta Business, Google search and email marketing.

Role Details
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to take on the overall management of digital activity at Bliss, leading the Digital Team to deliver all core activities to maintain existing channels and services as well as leading the cross-team approach to planning and delivering digital innovation and improvement.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
•Significant experience in digital project management, agile working and the delivery of a website and other digital products and services
•Proven experience of digital innovation and a creative approach to finding solutions and solving technical issues
•Significant experience and understanding of user research / testing, and of managing agencies conducting this on our behalf; as well as co-creating digital products and services with users
•Up-to-date knowledge of digital trends and ability and appetite to keep up to date with advances in these as well as experience of translating these into proven digital enhancements
•Technical knowledge and expertise:
-Expertise in website CMS and a range of digital technologies
-Utilising search engine optimisation to increase the targeted traffic
-AB testing and piloting of digital projects
-Using CSS, HTML and PHP and excellent IT skills with the ability to use Word, Excel, and Adobe CS6, Indesign and Photoshop.

About the Role:
The Trust Fundraising Intern will work in collaboration with the Senior Trust and Foundations Manager to be responsible for securing critical funding that sustains our life-changing programs worldwide. Key Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio Support

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern:
This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

Role description
As our director of digital and information security, you will lead our digital risk and resilience team and programme in order to help build resistance and resilience among the people and movements challenging unaccountable power.
Your focus in this senior role at this crucial time will be on leadership, strategy, growth, and culture, with specific responsibility for our digital risk and resilience programme, internal information security, and tech transformation. Your responsibilities will include:
Lead our digital risk and resilience programme
- Manage the design and delivery of our digital and information security support, including:
- Coordinate the digital security mentoring, accompaniment, and capacity sharing we deliver to at-risk activists and low-resource civil society organisations referred through our rapid response mechanism.
- Oversee the professional information security consultancy and advisory services we provide to high-profile nonprofit and foundation clients.
- Develop our holistic security approach and ensure the smooth delivery of holistic security projects as part of our cross-programme leadership group.
- Lead a team of digital and information security professionals and technologists, including:
