We have a great opportunity for a Fundraising Board Executive Assistant working for a wonderful medical charity. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant or Project Manager looking to proactively support the Campaign Board and fundraising campaign.

This role will be hands-on and fundamental in facilitating and helping to maximise the  campaign execution ensuring timelines are kept on track, whilst driving the operational coordination of diaries, committee meetings, and scheduling. This role will also be line managing the Campaign Reporting Officer.

Sense has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Brand and Content team as our Video Content Creator. This is a permanent, hybrid, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, based between home and our office either in Kings Cross, London or Selly Oak, Birmingham.

The Brand and Content Team nurture and develop the Sense brand, putting it at the heart of everything we do and ensuring it is consistently represented throughout every touchpoint.  We are also responsible for creating engaging and stand out content for departments across the organisation, whilst also creating content to meet our own strategic goals. 

The successful candidate will join our fast-paced and motivated team to deliver highly engaging short form video content for social media, digital adverts, website and events. Your content will build and push the Sense brand, increase understanding of the challenges faced by disabled people with complex needs, help those affected to live full and meaningful lives, inspire people to fundraise and take action, and communicate the impact of Sense’s work through engaging and compelling storytelling. In this hands-on role you will be responsible for all aspects of video production, including creative development, logistics and planning, directing, filming, conducting interviews and all elements of post-production, requiring strong organisation and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time. 

You’ll spend a lot of time out on location capturing authentic moments and voices, translating them into compelling and engaging video content.  One day you might be at our services meeting the people we support, and another you might be at a fundraising or campaigning event.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a consistent pipeline of engaging short form video in platform-native formats and related assets.
• Interview storytellers on camera, who may have sensitive stories, to create compelling and engaging storytelling video content.

Key skills and experience

• Experience in all aspects of shooting and producing a high standard of digital first short form video content for external audiences either in an agency or in-house.
• Strong experience in creating video edits for social media (including TikTok), with demonstrable understanding and knowledge of optimal formats and tactics for different channels and platforms.
• Experience in fast-paced short (and medium-length) content, aiming for a fast turnaround.
• Experience in developing strong creative content ideas to deliver against content strategies.
• A strong understanding of and experience in crafting engaging and impactful storytelling video content.
• Working with case studies or interviewees with experience in planning and conducting interviews and drawing out compelling stories.

Flexibility

Our London-based staff operate on a hybrid model, working in our office within London South Bank University (one minute from Elephant and Castle tube station) on Mondays and Tuesdays (for full time staff – part-time staff are only required to work one of those days in the office) and at home for the rest of the week. We also have staff outside London who are fully home-based. We would like the HR Lead to work in the London office on either Monday or Tuesday (or both if preferred) but are flexible as to when in the week the remainder of the hours are worked, provided that there is a consistent working pattern each week.   We have specified the number of days for this role as 3-4, meaning a minimum of three and a maximum of four, depending on what the appointed candidate is able to offer on a consistent basis each week.

The BACCH Education and Training Administrator is a newly created role supporting the British Association for Community Child Health (BACCH), a specialty group of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. This role will take the lead on setting up and delivering educational courses and events for clinicians working in Community Child Health, including webinars, regional events, and the BACCH Annual Scientific Meeting.

Reporting to the BACCH Executive Officer, you will coordinate the development of a structured education and training offer, manage logistics for online and in-person courses, and support initiatives such as trainee-led learning and paid short courses. You will also support BACCH’s six affiliated specialist groups with administrative and event coordination as needed.

The role requires a highly organised and self-motivated individual with experience in event planning, digital platforms, and administrative systems. You’ll also maintain contact databases, filing systems, and internal procedures, while providing occasional cover for the wider team.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting educational events or working in professional membership organisations, along with strong communication, planning and IT skills. A background in healthcare, training, or children’s services and knowledge of website or budget management is desirable

This programme of work, based in Southwark, works among Latin American (Spanish and Portuguese-speaking) communities. The work is aimed at increasing awareness, uptake and understanding of HIV & sexual health testing, condom usage, PrEP uptake, and HIV treatment adherence alongside improving people's general health and wellbeing. The work is sessional and ad hoc, but hours will be between 5-15 hours per month. Shifts will be offered on a rota basis, Monday - Friday, with the possibility of evening and weekend working. JOB PURPOSE

Demonstrating ParalympicsGB’s core values at all times, the Games Services Manager has responsibility for the design and delivery of key elements of ParalympicsGB’s Games Services Strategy and specific Games-related services and support whose outcomes will contribute positively to the fulfilment of ParalympicsGB’s vision, mission and objectives through: 

1. Working closely with the Head of Sport, exemplary management of identified areas of ParalympicsGB’s Games Services strategy and associated programmes, people and partnerships

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IN DETAIL: 

Sport Directorate 

To support the on-going management of a cohesive and collaborative Sport Team environment which proactively embraces cross directorate / partnership working, additionally to: 

• Project management of ParalympicsGB’s Games Services Strategy within the Sport Directorate
• Provide regular updates to the Head of Sport regarding the implementation of the ParalympicsGB’s Games Services Strategy; identifying and communicating potential and actual risks in a timely manner 
• Proactively identify and develop key strategic performance partnerships both within the UK and overseas to support delivery of organisational objectives 
• Deputise for the Head of Sport in his / her absence at key meetings and activities on an agreed basis 
• Support to the Director of Sport and Head of Sport in delivering identified organisational objectives

Games Services Strategy 

Responsible for the management and effective delivery of identified elements of ParalympicsGB’s Games Services Strategy including: 

• Management of team data and the development of ParalympicsGB Base, including budget management. 
• Management of team qualification including performance and qualification tracking and reporting.
• Management of selecting the team including support to all Paralympic sports with selection policies and processes.
• Management of accrediting the team for the ParalympicsGB delegation, including collaboration with Games Operations in updating the Delegation Overview. 
• Management of entering the team including sport entries and liaison with National Governing Bodies and the Organising Committee.
• Management of the Qualification and Selection Panel. 

Team Development Strategy:

Provide support to the Director of Sport and the Head of Athlete Services for the following aspects of ParalympicsGB’s team development strategy:  

• Support the design of the ParalympicsGB team development strategy and lead on elements of programme delivery 
• Support the ParalympicsGB team Games recruitment project
• Lead the planning group for Team Development Programmes, including event and budget management 
• Lead the Team Member’s Agreement Working Group, including collaborative work with our legal partners. 
• Support delivery of the Team Leader Journey including workshops and induction programmes.

Miscellaneous: 

• To work collaboratively with Paralympic sports, UK Sport, Home Country Sports Institutes, British Olympic Association and other partners to ensure coherence in positioning, approach and impact of the Games Services Strategy and Games-specific services and support
• To ensure effective processes of monitoring, evaluation and quality control, and the observation of key performance indicators across all responsibility areas 
• To support colleagues within ParalympicsGB across all areas of the Championing Change strategy, as reasonably required by the Director of Sport 
• To attend all meetings, workshops and seminars, whether internal or external, regional, national or overseas, which are reasonably deemed to be relevant to the fulfilment of the demands and responsibilities of the role

The Purpose of the Role

The ideal candidate is a technical leader and expert in the corporate consumer goods sector – such as retail, travel, food products, etc. They will have demonstrated experience building 7-figure corporate partnerships in support of humanitarian and development work, and a robust network of funders, experts, and decision-makers in the consumer goods and other corporate sectors. In addition to supervising and mentoring a team of consumer goods sector fundraisers, the Associate Director will have a dedicated portfolio of partners, focusing on sustained revenue generation and humanitarian impact. Finally, they will demonstrate passion for the IRC's mission, nuanced understanding of private sector fundraising, and dedication to the organization's diversity, equity, and inclusion values.

 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

•  Work with the Senior Director, Global Corporate Partnerships to develop and deliver a robust strategy for the consumer goods sector, identifying and initiating strategies for the consumer goods through a variety of partnership models.
• Cultivate a $2-3M+ USD portfolio of partners with a focus on sustainable funding, diversified funding streams, growing unrestricted funds and expanding influence.
• Lead on developing a series of high profile, creative, and impactful partnerships with consumer goods companies to serve our clients across the world, while offering companies innovative outlets to deploy philanthropic and core-business solutions supporting our humanitarian agenda;
• Design and implement creative outreach, solicitation, and management strategies for partners within the portfolio, such as pitches, proposal submissions, and partnership discussions;
• Provide best in class People Management to support and develop line reports and role model IRC leadership and IRC DEI principles.
• Serve as an internal, and when appropriate, external focal point for the IRC as related to the consumer goods sector

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Qualifications

Work Experience:

•  Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
• Technical expertise and experience working in the consumer goods industry and community
• Strong experience of front-line corporate fundraising and/or partnership development experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Experience leading 1-2 full time team, preferably fundraising

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

•  Management or solicitation of partnerships valued at or above $1,000,000 USD per year.
• Ability to develop thoughtful project management plans and implement them in timely and detailed fashion.

First Steps ED provide person-centred support to our service users for a range of disordered eating and eating disorder presentations.

The Head of Fundraising and Communications will lead on the development and implementation of strategies to diversify and grow our income streams, strengthen our brand, and increase engagement with key audiences. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the postholder will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships across trusts and foundations, corporate partners, individual donors, and community supporters. This role will also oversee all aspects of external communications and marketing, ensuring a consistent and compelling voice for the organisation across digital, print, media, and stakeholder channels.

The Head of Fundraising and Communications will provide line management and strategic direction to the fundraising and communications team, with accountability for delivering income targets and enhancing the charity’s profile and impact.

• Digital Agency and PR Management: Oversee the work of digital agencies and PR consultant to enhance online presence and engagement with public relations and media outreach.
• Ambassadors and Patrons Management: Engage and manage relationships with ambassadors and patrons to leverage their support and influence.
• Web Development Leadership: Lead the development and maintenance of the charity's website to ensure it effectively supports fundraising and communication efforts as well as providing clear and concise support to our service users, carers and professionals.
• Manage our portfolio of events: We have an emerging trend in challenge events, and we manage these carefully and mindfully especially long-distance sporting events. This requires key insights in trends and work with our marketing team on key insights.
• Working with the CEO: You will identify opportunities for strategic communications and growth. You will network with likeminded individuals from other charities and build sector connections.
• Senior Leadership Team: You will be an integral part of our Senior Leadership Team, which means working across the whole charity on tasks that may pop up, and planning with the team our Organisational Development.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a senior fundraising and communications role, preferably within the charity sector.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Relationship Management, or a related field.

About the role

The Director of Membership Services provides strategic leadership for the Membership Services directorate and is therefore responsible for the development and implementation of all Imperial College Union strategy relating to Student Activities, Representation, Advice, Governance and Policy.
