ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a fantastic chance to join the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, working within the Delivery Team team as our new Network Development Manager.
As the Network Development Manager, you will be required to oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of active travel infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance standards. The role combines technical expertise, project leadership, community engagement, and strategic planning to enhance the National Cycle Network (NCN) and related infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful, sustainable outcomes.
Some duties will include:
- Lead on the management of active travel infrastructure design and construction projects from concept through to construction /implementation and evaluation.
- Plan, organise and attend community engagement activities to ensure collaborative approach to projects.
- Day to day management of inter-disciplinary project teams.
- Share knowledge, expertise and evidence through written reports and presentations to update and influence key external stakeholders (e,g. land owners and local authorities) and volunteers.
- Contribute to planning the future network and developing a vision and clarity of what the NCN is seeking to achieve in their area.
- Quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting to demonstrate project progress and impact.
This role involves regular travel, with work taking place at different locations to support and deliver projects for the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.
ABOUT YOU
We ask that you have experience in the following areas:
- A practical working knowledge of principles and standard practices within active travel infrastructure including an awareness of spatial planning and transport planning.
- Using recognised technical expertise to produce project outputs (for technical roles).
- Knowledge of local and regional transport planning authorities and their processes and priorities.
- Knowledge of active travel network design and best practise.
- Working knowledge of health and safety legislation and practice including construction regulations.
- Experience of managing projects and understanding of how to follow the project management delivery frameworks
- Experience of contributing to business development through opportunity generation, bid writing, budget preparation.

What is the overall purpose of the role?
At Youth Action Alliance, our mission is to support the personal and social development (their values, beliefs, ideas and skills) of the young people living in Kensington and Chelsea and neighbouring boroughs, enabling them to increase their resilience and skills in the present, and promote their ambitions for the future.
We are ambitious to grow, to continue supporting more young people and influence positive change. To do this we are looking to appoint a Support Youth Worker to work across two projects:
Working 50% of your time with Gypsy, Roma and Irish Traveller young people (Travellers project) 11-19 years old, including;
● A weekly girls’ workshop
● Targeted mentoring and support - helping them to stay in education, enrol in college, seek work opportunities, and access additional support services.
● Off-site holiday activities
Please note, work may extend to ages 8–21, subject to funding.
Working 50% of your time with the Staying Connected project young people, 11-19 years old, including;
● Targeted one-to-one mentoring and support via face-to-face, online or via phone

Job responsibilities
● Support with the planning and delivery of an innovative, cohesive and progressive programme of delivery for Travellers and Staying Connected (focusing on personal and social development skills), and budgeting to ensure smooth and effective delivery of the programme.
● Recruit, engage and support young people aged to participate in the programmes.
● Building and strengthening partnerships with local organisations, services, and stakeholders (such as schools, youth services, community groups, health providers, or charities)
● Adhere to the programme risk assessments as/when required and carry out regular health and safety checks.
● Develop promotional content and material for the projects and events (e.g. via social media, website, offline marketing etc.).
● Support young people into positive outcomes including Education, Employment and/or Training.
● Deliver one-to-one or group support sessions (via text message, email, telephone, virtually and face-to-face) to provide advice, information, guidance, mentoring and signposting to internal and external services (e.g. mental health and wellbeing services, YAA events).
● Create individual action plans with young people to capture their key aims and objectives at different stages of engagement.
● Support the organisation and delivery of trips and positive activities in line with provision delivery plans and/or requirements.
● Provide day-to-day operational and administrative management support of the programmes.
● Support the management of project budget sheets, recording expenditure and forecasting financial information for reporting purposes.
● Maintain an asset register for any equipment/assets associated with the programmes and ensure their safekeeping.
● Support the management of referrals to and from the programmes, including partner agencies such as Social Services, the Police, the Youth Offending Team (YOT), Alternative Provision and Schools.
● Record young people’s data, (Views) including membership information, case notes, session notes, registers, and case studies.
● Prepare reports for funding applications,collate monitoring statistics to evidence impact and engagement for reports and funding bids.
● Capture and evaluate young people’s journeys and progress through feedback, consultation, and creative methods to evidence impact and support future funding.
● Ensure youth voice shapes programme design and delivery, reflecting the needs and priorities of the community.

Knowledge and experience
● Certification and professionalism - Youth Work Qualified
● Experience in the charity sector, the voluntary sector, or community sector would be desirable.
● Experience working with children, young people and vulnerable adults

Camp Jojo is a small/medium, but growing charity with a committed team of Trustees, Special Advisors, and Volunteers. This is a chance to contribute to a dynamic organisation and work in a supportive environment. In particular, Camp Jojo’s extension of its work to Nags Head Farm, Appleby, Cumbria, is new; with Open Days held in 2025, and the first camps to be held in August 2026.
The holder of this post will be critical to this development; working to establish a sister site in Cumbria to Ivy Farm on Mersea island, Essex, with a well tried and tested model of operations. The role of Nags Head Farm: Operations Manager (Families and Site Ops) is to offer leadership and administrative support to key functions of Camp Jojo at Nags Head Farm, and to members of the Camp Jojo Board, in relation to the camps held at Nags Head Farm.
The Contractor will handle clerical and logistics tasks for the organisation in a timely and efficient way. The primary task of the Nags Head Farm: Operations Manager will be to oversee family applications to the camps, and to maintain and develop data bases in support of this. They will hold a key role in relation to communications with the families pre-, during, and post-camps. In addition, they will attend and minute meetings, and contribute to camp operations in planning etc. They may need to work flexibly, according to the seasonal demands of the charity.
They will attend the first day (Friday) of each camp The Nags Head Farm: Operations Manager will have a varied and sometimes high-pace job environment. As such, they will need to handle multiple tasks, manage their own time well, interact professionally with the wider Camp Jojo community, and be very good communicators.

As the Supporter Engagement & Legacy Manager you will play a key role as we seek to reignite our legacy marketing programme and grow overall individual giving income to help ensure long-term support for those facing financial difficulty. You will be responsible for the project management and implementation of all supporter engagement activity, acquisition, and legacy marketing activities, ensuring all activity is optimised and campaigns include enhanced digital and social media content.
Reporting to the Co-Heads of Supporter Engagement and managing the Supporter Engagement Officer, you will develop a multi-year plan to rebuild legacy income and a pipeline of legacy supporters, including re-engaging the EFH care home staff and major donors.
You will be responsible for supporting the strategic direction, operational plans and effective management of Turn2us’s giving programmes from individuals including appeals, regular giving and legacies, maximising net income from new and existing income streams.
The successful candidate will have experience of managing direct marketing campaigns in a charity environment as well as proven ability to manage successful legacy marketing campaigns. They will have significant experience stewarding individuals and legacy supporters and be adept at communicating the impact of donations, as well as having line management experience. The ability to make a strong case for supporting Turn2us’ key areas of work is crucial, as is an aptitude for proactively increasing acquisition and retention rates.
The post holder will also be a self-starter who is comfortable building new strategies from a relatively small pool of supporters and is experienced testing different tactics to establish the best practice for Turn2us.
