§  Collect and collate data, arrange for completion of monitoring and evaluation forms. Write timely reports giving feedback on the services for the CEO and for project funders.

§  Work in close collaboration with Mothers for Mothers colleagues in the business development to act in the best interests of Mothers for Mothers at all times.

The Role

In April 2021 the Domestic Abuse Act received Royal Assent. The Act introduces a new civil Domestic Abuse Protection Notice (DAPN) to provide immediate protection following a domestic abuse incident, and a new civil Domestic Abuse Protection Order (DAPO) to provide flexible, longer-term protection for victims. DAPOs can impose both prohibitions and positive requirements on perpetrators. We were commissioned by the Home Office to design a triage model that will assess individuals for the suitability of these interventions; this triage model will be rolled out in the pilot sites which are going live in May 2024 and will be tested and evaluated in order to prepare for national roll out in 2026.The Programme Manager will oversee the roll out and delivery of the DAPO pilot Triage Model.

At Ambitious about Autism, we’re currently looking for a Research Manager to join our External Affairs team.

You’ll conduct and commission research projects, publish and disseminate research findings to ensure we are maximising our reach and impact, and ensure that we are using relevant and up-to-date evidence throughout our work.

About the role 

This vacancy is for a University Access Officer to work in one or two schools in the West Midlands area; exact school location(s) to be confirmed at interview. Our schools are shown on a mapThe Access Project schools on our website. Access to own transport or reliable transport would be ideal.

The University Access Officer works with school staff at all levels, volunteer tutors, and with the rest of The Access Project’s team to ensure that the delivery of the programme is optimised.

• Engage with students in school and enrol them onto the programme
• Match students with volunteer tutors

• Collaborating with the other manager on the following:
• Day to day management of the Easy Health website, website management and membership management.
• Day to day management of the Easy Health social media: Creating regular engaging content and posting to the Easy Health twitter and Facebook pages, engaging with replies.
• Co-creating accessible health resources alongside Generate staffs with lived experience of learning disability.
• Designing and delivering training, in collaboration with co-trainers who have learning disabilities.
• Promoting Generate’s health training and easy read work.
• Increasing Generate’s earned income from health training, easy read work and contract delivery.
• Delivering on all the Health Project contracts to increase the accessibility of primary care services and reduce health inequalities for people with disabilities in Wandsworth and the UK.
• Manage a team of consultants and sessional project workers, some with lived experience of learning disability and autism.

Person Specification

We recognise that not every candidate will have all these skills and experiences but are looking for somebody who can show us that they meet a high number of them.

• At least 1 year experience of coordinating or managing projects.
• Experience of website management using a content management system.
• Applied experience of creating accessible digital products and platforms.
• Working knowledge of social media, online campaigns & community engagement, creating engaging and inclusive content.
• Experience of designing and delivering engaging and informative training, including online and blended trainings.
• Knowledge about health inequalities for people with learning disabilities, and the challenges this group of people face in accessing healthcare.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues with a learning disability and neurodiverse colleagues – understanding of reasonable adjustments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adjust communication style to different audiences, and provide accessible information.
• Experience of managing relationships with a range of external stakeholders.

As a Projects Officer for Live Unlimited you'll be helping to make a difference to the lives of care experienced young people living in Barnet, north London.

Reporting to: Operations Director & Fundraising Manager

Location: Flexible and remote working is offered to all of our staff. We have an office based in Colindale, London, which we tend to work around two days per week, with two days remote working.

About the Role: This is an interesting and varied role. As the post holder you'll be not only be setting up, administering and delivering schemes and activities to benefit Barnet’s looked after young people, you'll also be creating marketing materials and supporting fundraising events.  Promoting the work of our charity is key too through updating our website, writing our quarterly newsletter and social media channels, as well as supporting the running and administration of the charity. 

About You:

You'll have experience of managing and delivering projects, schemes or activities and supporting administrative tasks including keeping accurate records, financial tracking and expenditure.
 
You'll also have experience of creating engaging content for newsletters, websites and/or social media channels especially Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram and building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver common goals.
 
Having a passion for Live Unlimited’s vision and objectives is very useful in this role. We particularly welcome applicants with experience or being a looked after child, care leaver or personal experience of the care system.

Working hours: 28 hours (4 days per week) Could be split across five days. Core hours: 10am-4pm

The role

This role will identify, develop and manage top food partners relationships and strengthen existing business relationships with companies in the food industry, generating value for the partner and to secure growing and sustainable volumes of surplus food for the FareShare Network.

For designated top food partners, you will be their day to day point of contact with regular face to face contact at all levels. You will undertake structured, strategic account management, leading and coordinating FareShare’s engagement across our organisation. This will mean agreeing and executing a bespoke joint business plan with each account to get more food, money and strategic support. You will also feedback on ways that we can better support our accounts and improve our services to them.

You will work directly and be on-site with top food partners to help identify and overcome the barriers which exist to giving surplus food to people in need as well as increasing money and strategic resource.

You will also be required to work closely with FareShare colleagues within FareShare and across the UK in our partner organisations in order to identify and understand opportunities for creating mutual and shared value.

Main areas of responsibility

Partnership Management

• Contribute to the development of consistent, structured Joint Business plans with designated accounts that take into account food, funding and other strategic initiatives to drive growth in food, money and other strategic resources.
• Work on behalf of the account to develop and embed services relevant to the account and
• agreed through the joint business plan – e.g. employability or store level redistribution.
• Execute joint business plans and report internally and externally on progress.
• Research and understand your accounts, including key ESG initiatives, waste streams, key personnel within the organisation that will help drive its success and engage the relevant internal departments through both desked based research and face to face contact.
• Proactively drive account forwards and progress these relationships with regular on-site visits and linking FareShare exec with key contacts.
• Keep up to date with industry and charity insights and ensure this is reflected back strategically across ways of working and account management

Project and Initiative Management

• Be responsible for managing and communicating key projects and initiatives to increase food volumes and strategic value, securing support from a range of stakeholders within food partners and across the FareShare network.
• Work closely with Supply Chain and Logistics, Operations and Network Development teams with the aim of optimising food out to our network
• Develop and lead FareShare cross-departmental strategic activity to enable us to derive maximum value from key food partners including liaising with fundraising, marketing and volunteering teams

About the role

As Project Officer you will play a central role in the delivery of INTRAC’s consultancy assignments and grant funded projects. This will involve coordinating short and long term projects, involving staff and consultants through our global network and clients around the world, ensuring effective and quality delivery. We carry out a wide variety of assignments, ranging from project evaluations to bespoke in-house training and learning partner roles for complex, multi-country civil society strengthening programmes.

You will work on a range of activities, such as organising and supporting online learning sessions, meetings or focus groups, coordinating feedback, communicating with team members and clients, administrative tasks, to support the smooth running and success of our work.

You will have an eye for detail, experience providing administrative and coordination support to complex projects and will be comfortable carrying out a number of tasks with competing deadlines at the same time.
