ROLE TITLE: Training Lead (Learning & Mission Readiness) – Men’s Mental Growth Movement
CATEGORY: Education & Training / Strategy & Development
CAUSES: Mental Health / Men
ROLE TYPE: Volunteer (Remote)
JOIN MINDSET:
Most charity training is a box-ticking exercise. We don’t do that. MINDSET is an action-first CIO that trades clinical "talk" for real-world challenge. We need a Training Lead to build the playbook that turns our volunteers into elite Mission Leaders.
THE ROLE:
As our Training Lead, you are the architect of our "Mission Readiness" programme. You’ll take our "Action-First" philosophy and turn it into practical, bite-sized training modules. You aren’t teaching people how to be therapists—you’re teaching them how to facilitate connection while doing.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- The Playbook: Develop the "Mission Leader" induction (how to lead a hike/workshop the MINDSET way).
- Safety First: Create "Real-World Safeguarding" modules—how to spot a man in crisis during an activity and what to do next.
- The Language: Work with The Storyteller to train volunteers in our non-clinical "Pub Test" communication style.
- Digital Learning: Set up a lean LMS (Learning Management System) or a simple Notion training hub.
WHO YOU ARE:
- A Learning & Development (L&D) pro or an educator who knows how to make info stick.
- Someone who can translate "mental health theory" into "practical action."
- A volunteer who believes that the best training happens "on the job."
COMMITMENT:
This is a volunteer role with no set hours. While we would ideally appreciate a committment of 2–3 hours per week, we are fully flexible around your other life commitments. You are free to stop volunteering at any time. This role is fully remote.
APPLY:
Send over your up-to-date CV and Tell us about a training programme you built that people actually enjoyed, and why you want to help MINDSET level up.
To empower men across England to take charge of their mental wellbeing and personal growth through connection, conversation, and community.
