The Role:
As a member of the Work Experience team, you will play a key role in facilitating meaningful work experience placements for young people in Tower Hamlets. In this role, you'll work closely with local employers in Tower Hamlets and the City of London to support them in delivering engaging placements.
Responsibilities will include actively recruiting and onboarding new employers through phone calls, online meetings and carrying out on-site health and safety checks. In addition, you’ll support the Work Experience Manager in delivering school-based sessions, such as assemblies and Q&A drop-ins, to help prepare young people for their placements. You’ll also assist in coordinating placements at The Switch by creating schedules and supporting young people with their tasks. During delivery weeks, the team is responsible for providing responsive support to employers and schools. In case of any issues, you may be required to work from the office five days per week during these periods.
Details:
· The role sits in the Work Experience team and reports to Work Experience Manager
· Working hours are typically 9am – 5pm Monday – Thursday, and 9am – 4pm Fridays
· Working from home (WFH) is typically 2 to 3 days a week, except on delivery weeks where you may be required to be in the office 5 days per week
· Flexibility may be required to cover meetings or deliver events outside of these hours and WFH days

Purpose of Job

Principal Duties

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and empathetic individual who has the skills, knowledge and experience in coordinating casework and undertaking reporting of data to stakeholders. The IPO will undertake and be responsible for a range of administrative functions to advance and simply casework flow under the Sub-Regional Immigration Advice Service (SIAS) project. The IPO must have the ability to communicate effectively with referring agencies and stakeholders on a regular basis. The IPO will organise and present data to funders and others on behalf of NKLC. The IPO would have a good general understanding of Legal Aid casework, and the regulatory obligations set by the SRA and IAA.
The IPO will work closely with the Immigration Supervising Solicitor (ISS), Director and general admin team to progress and maintain the SIAS project. The IPO will manage referrals, liaise with the immigration team, and undertake a variety of administrative functions to maintain and resolve associated issues within the immigration department. Where appropriate, the IPO will arrange appointments, attend triage sessions off-site and liaise with referring agencies to ensure that caseworkers can advance casework as efficiently as possible.

Prostate Cancer Research is seeking a an experienced, dynamic and driven Trusts & Statutory Executive. The role will take a lead on identifying and securing collaboration and funding opportunities with both existing and prospective partners, developing and managing a pipeline of funding partners that align with PCR’s mission and core programmes of work.
Since 2018, PCR has significantly increased income from Trusts & Foundations and Statutory sources, as well as working in collaboration with other medical research charities and non-profits. This is a newly created and integral role within the Partnership Fundraising team to build on this work and will be key to identifying and nurturing relationships with prospective partners and funders, as well as developing and implementing comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective partners.

Transport & Environment (T&E), Europe’s leading clean transport think tank and advocacy group, is seeking a Sustainable Shipping Manager to spearhead efforts in decarbonising the UK’s maritime sector.
In this pivotal role, you will lead advocacy efforts to advance UK shipping regulations, championing truly sustainable solutions such as green hydrogen and hydrogen-based fuels while challenging ineffective alternatives. Your work will involve designing and executing targeted advocacy strategies, engaging with UK policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, and the media to shape policy and drive legislative change. You will also conduct high-impact research, analyse technical and economic data on vessel decarbonisation, and collaborate with environmental organisations to maximise impact.
You will be a key voice in the shipping decarbonisation space, representing T&E at public forums, responding to media requests, and forming coalitions with industry players to push for ambitious policy measures that align with the UK’s climate goals.
The ideal candidate will have at least six years of experience in UK climate, energy, or transport policy advocacy, with a strong track record of influencing regulatory stakeholders and driving policy change. A deep understanding of the UK political system, excellent political analysis skills, and the ability to navigate a fast-changing policy environment are essential. Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills are also crucial to success. Experience in maritime policy, parliamentary work, or international collaboration would be advantageous.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will be involved in leading and co-ordinating the delivery of Crohn’s & Colitis UK’s research strategy including our programme of grants, and our work to support increased patient and public involvement in research. They will work with the Director of Services & Evidence and Head of Evidence & Research to support the charity’s involvement with external research bodies and contribute to the leadership, planning and delivery of cross-team projects, helping to influence and meet our strategic objectives.
About You
We are looking for someone who has proven experience of delivering successful research funding and patient and public involvement research activities. The successful candidate must be adept at establishing and maintaining effective relationships with external stakeholders and comfortable working with operational performance metrics, and implementing strategies and objectives for the organisation. Ideally your background will be in health care or working in a medical charity and you’ll be educated to degree level or equivalent. Given this role will involve managing and providing leadership to the Research team, prior management experience would be an advantage. Whilst not essential, a knowledge of the needs of people affected by Crohn’s and Colitis would be beneficial also.

Our Location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although there will be times when you will need to travel to events/conferences. You will be required to attend two Directorate days each year and occasional face-to-face meetings with your team or our partner agencies. In addition, the charity meets four times annually at its office in Hatfield (or a location in London) for its’ ‘All Staff Together’ days, at which attendance is mandatory.

We’re seeking a passionate and ambitious Membership Lead to drive membership retention and growth.

About the role:
This role will take the lead in seeking out new opportunities for growth across our membership, including acquisition and retention and will be responsible for developing and implementing new initiatives to reach ambitious targets, as well as ensuring our existing members receive an excellent level of customer service.
Strong communication, engagement and interpersonal skills will be pivotal to this role as will the ability to interact, engage and influence senior stakeholders at all levels. This is a great opportunity to help develop, shape and promote our recently updated membership programme, bringing strong engagement and innovation skills, and experience of piloting and testing new approaches.
The successful candidate will have significant experience working at a manager level in a membership environment and will have experience of running successful acquisition and retention initiatives. They will also be a skilled income/fundraising generator with proven experience in achieving commercial targets, possibly with a previous account management background or experience of a similar B2B membership environment.
They will be a strong manager with experience of working in a busy and complex environment, managing multiple stakeholders and enquiries, as well as having in depth analytical skills, bringing data to life and providing key insights, which will guide us to make evidence-based decisions and sound judgements across the organisation.
This dynamic role will combine business development, relationship management, stakeholder engagement and operational oversight to ensure the ETP’s membership base thrives and aligns with our mission.

Key areas of responsibility include:
- Conduct research to identify and understand potential new member organisations in the tea supply chain.

- Drive new member onboarding, ensuring a seamless and effective process.

About you:

- Strong experience in event management and delivery, including planning, organising, and executing forums, conferences, and other high-profile events.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to travel both within the UK and internationally as required for the role.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office applications.
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to private sector needs within a mission-based organisation.
Desirable:
- Experience with design tools, including the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of the issues and dynamics in agricultural supply chains and membership organisations.
