The role
We’re looking for a proactive Property Services Officer to support the delivery of safe, compliant homes, with a strong focus on Awaab’s Law, damp and mould, and HHSRS compliance.
You will coordinate repairs, compliance works and void property repairs and improvements, working closely with surveyors, contractors and housing colleagues to ensure works are delivered on time, to standard and in line with service level agreements.
Key responsibilities
- Support the management of damp and mould cases, tracking actions and timescales in line with Awaab’s Law and HHSRS
- Coordinate responsive repairs, compliance works and property repairs, ensuring completion targets and SLAs are met
- Liaise with contractors to ensure works are delivered efficiently and to the required standard
- Monitor progress, chase outstanding actions and escalate delays or quality concerns where needed
- Maintain accurate records, compliance documentation and audit trails
- Assist with contractor compliance checks and invoicing processes

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team with strategic oversight of repairs, fire and building safety, landlord compliance, sustainability, reinvestment and housing services. You would be responsible for a mixed portfolio of buildings (owned and leased) that range from big hostels to self-contained flats, including some more quirky buildings like a converted church, ensuring throughout that St Mungo’s, as a registered social landlord, meets all its regulatory obligations. As part of the senior leadership team, you will:
- Lead, develop and manage St Mungo’s Property and Housing Services functions, embedding a culture of excellent customer service and compliance.
- Shape and deliver investment to meet resident priorities now and in the future, ensuring homes are safe, compliant and aligned with new and emerging regulation.
- Drive continuous improvement across property services while managing risk so our asset portfolio is safe, compliant and performing well.
- Develop and deliver key organisational strategies and programmes, including Asset Management, Environmental Sustainability, St Mungo’s Homes Standard, Decent Homes, Warm Homes and Building Safety.
- Build strong delivery partnerships that provide high quality, customer focused services and deliver value for money.
- Work closely with the Executive Director of Client Services and Service Directors to deliver an integrated Supported Housing Service that meets residents’ housing and support needs.

• Proficient in advanced Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, array formulas, handling large datasets (100k rows), building reports from scratch with charts, and ideally experience with Macros, VBA, and Power Query for automation.
• Awareness of payment processes, invoice management, and reconciliation.
• Ability to analyse and manipulate data, and present clear, concise reports.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams to improve service delivery.
• Numeracy and literacy skills with the confidence to use housing management and operational software.

What will you do?
This newly formed role will be embedded within the site management team. To be successful in this role, applicants will be required to:
- Assist the Senior Premises Officer with maintenance tasks as required to ensure a safe and effective working environment. Must be able perform basic repairs (plumbing, carpentry, painting, changing locks etc.)
- Assist with water testing, testing of alarms and other routine tasks as directed.
- Set and un-set the site alarm systems when required.
- Assist with the opening and closing, unlocking and locking of the site gates and buildings, including evening and weekend use.
- Be responsible for the security of the site when on duty including the locking of all doors and windows.
- Assist the events manager with delivery of events, particularly during evenings and weekends.
- Assist with the cleaning of the site as and when needed.
- Assist with room setup and moving of furniture safely. This includes preparing spaces to host events and functions, packing down and cleaning afterwards. And to service ongoing regular lettings.

We’re looking for someone to fulfil a wide range of duties working alongside the other Administrative Assistant and volunteers in support of the Office Manager to provide coordinated administration across the Cathedral team. We are looking for an Income Recovery and Enforcement Officer to join an Income Management Team, this is an exciting opportunity to play a specialist role in managing legal action, protecting income and supporting residents to resolve arrears.
Position: Income Recovery and Enforcement Officer
Location: Stratford, London or Trafford, Manchester with hybrid working (20 to 40% office based)
Salary: £32,881 per annum (London weighted) or £28,886 per annum (Regional)
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

The Role
This is a specialist, enforcement focused role where you will manage a portfolio of accounts already subject to legal action. You will take ownership of cases from preparing court paperwork through to eviction where required, making confident decisions that directly shape outcomes for residents and the organisation.
You will represent the organisation in court on occasion and act as the main point of contact for external legal advocates. This is a fast paced, target driven role, balancing firm enforcement with compassionate customer service, helping residents get back on track while safeguarding the organisation’s ability to invest in homes and communities.
You will:
- Manage a caseload across all legal stages of the arrears lifecycle, including preparing and presenting cases in court and progressing to eviction where required
- Act as the main point of contact with external legal advocates representing the organisation
- Prepare witness statements and court documentation to secure successful outcomes
- Take confident decisions on enforcement action, balancing risk and customer impact
- Handle high volumes of customer contact while working to call and case management targets
- Provide advice and signposting to help residents maximise income and sustain tenancies
- Work collaboratively with Housing, Finance and Legal teams to ensure a joined up approach
About You
We are seeking a confident and resilient professional with experience of housing arrears recovery and legal enforcement.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in housing arrears recovery and enforcement, including legal proceedings through to eviction
- Confidence in decision making and managing a fast paced workload
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle sensitive conversations
- Knowledge of welfare benefits and tenancy related arrears processes
- Excellent organisational, negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The responsibilities of the Senior Non-Current Asset Accountant will include:
- Support the accounting for the GPA’s non-current assets including maintaining the Non-Current Asset Register
- Support the preparation of non-current asset notes, accounting policies and disclosures for inclusion in the GPA’s financial statements
- Provide information to external and internal auditors of non-current assets and associated controls, supporting the Head of Non-Current Asset Reporting in audit planning, managing fieldwork and the resolution of audit issues
- Prepare forecasts for depreciation and impairments to inform annual and medium-term planning
- Provide technical advice to business areas and finance team members on accounting and budgeting of capital and non-current asset transactions
- Support the preparation of the GPA’s dilapidations provision and associated policy, working with GPA’s commercial partner to resolve any queries or disputes
- Drive continuous process efficiencies and improvements across the non-current assets function, delivering maximum value for the GPA and ensuring robust controls are in place
- Seek out opportunities to lead/contribute to cross-government and cross-finance initiatives outside of own role
- Build relationships with key staff across Finance and the business in order to maintain effectiveness
Key Skills & Experience
- Hold a CCAB or equivalent qualification
- Good knowledge and experience of Non-Current Assets accounting

About the role
In this role, you will oversee the implementation, management, and delivery of all electrical, fire detection, door entry, lift, CCTV, and digital TV installations with the Council’s supply partners. About you
You will oversee projects from start to completion with minimal supervision, including budget management, preparing specifications and drawings, contract procurement, and supervising electrical works for the Council’s housing stock.
A HNC/HND in Building Surveying/Construction with work experience in a similar role is preferred, or degree in Building Surveying or relevant Electrical qualification.
