Job Title: Estate Officer, East Anglia

The Estate Officer will ensure the delivery of the regional maintenance programme, comprising routine, periodic, planned and urgent works, and the delivery of time limited maintenance consultancy and estate management projects. Working alongside the Conservation Projects Manager, the post holder will ensure regional estate compliance with CCT policies.
The post holder will be the main contact for all maintenance related matters and will maintain the property management records for the estate, develop volunteer projects and training on maintenance reporting and conservation cleaning and will assist with fundraising.

This role is critical in ensuring Dot Dot Dot’s property offer meets market demand, business needs, and our social mission.
You will manage key parts of the property product lifecycle - from defining value propositions and preparing properties for launch, through to marketing, viewings, and quality control. The fundamentals of the role
Marketing and sales enablement
- Develop property messaging, value propositions, and supporting materials.

About the Role
Working with the DHS Executive Team and Operations Team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing’s consumer standards across our managing agents’ properties.

This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. The role includes regular national travel, particularly across Greater Manchester, and we welcome applicants from various UK locations. Please note that your office location will be in Manchester.
KEY DELIVERABLES
Working closely with teams across DHS and Depaul UK, you will lead work to:
• Develop and maintain accurate systems that record compliance against the Regulator of Social Housing’s consumer standards.
• Undertake desktop and in person inspection of our managing agents’ services across the areas we work in to monitor compliance performance, identify areas of concern and work with colleagues to improve compliance, creating and implementing action plans as required.
• Complete regulatory reporting and compliance returns, including Tenant Satisfaction Measures and Statistical Data Returns.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, providing updates to colleagues around proposed changes and timescales for confirmed changes.
• Working with colleagues, including the Quality and Compliance Manager, to develop and review policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the consumer standards.
• Producing clear, auditable reports to demonstrate compliance and inform decision-making, including preparing reports and presentations on regulatory matters for the board, committees and teams as required.
• Ensure that residents are involved at various levels of DHS decision making
• Assist in maintaining and improving systems to ensure that the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data and other management information is collected, recorded and reported in line with business requirements.

• Maintain accurate information and resources for DHS, including on the DHS website, SharePoint site and Teams channels

Responsibilities include:
- Conduct on-site assessments of repairs and report any unreported maintenance issues to the line manager.
- Specify and request materials and equipment through the line manager as needed.
- Respond to out-of-hours calls and attend services for emergency repairs when required.
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including tasks such as hanging doors, basic carpentry, and unblocking drainage.

The Finance and Business Operations Director will lead VAST’s financial and operational strategy, ensuring robust financial management, effective HR and IT systems, compliance with Health and Safety, and the efficient running of The Dudson Centre.
The postholder will act as Company Secretary, overseeing governance and compliance, and also serve as the organisation’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the role contributes to strategic planning and organisational development, as well as supporting VAST’s day-to-day delivery.
