About the role

We have just finalised an exciting new three year strategy to drive impact at scale for victim-survivors. We are now looking for an exceptional candidate to lead some of our financial services relationships and consultancy work and support SEA in its mission to raise awareness of economic abuse and transform responses to it within the financial services sector.

Working closely with colleagues across SEA, you will foster and maintain relationships across the financial services sector, seeking opportunities to generate income for the charity and supporting our Financial Services Specialists to deliver an outstanding service.

Together we can transform frontline financial services and save lives.

About you

At SEA we put the lived experience of victim-survivors at the heart of all that we do, including our work with financial services firms. You will be a subject matter expert on customer vulnerability and financial services firms’ regulatory requirements, as well as having a thorough understanding of industry rules and good practice. You will combine this with experience of working with victim-survivors and bring expertise on economic abuse to ensure this is embedded within financial services’ firms’ responses.

Job summary: 

You will work as a member of Corporate Partnerships team which sits within Philanthropy and Partnerships. You will work closely with the Corporate Partnership Manager (Account management).

You will manage a portfolio of corporate supporters, building excellent relationships with key contacts and cultivating them for additional support, providing first-class stewardship and maximising income-generating opportunities.

In addition to this, you will proactively support the development of new business opportunities, conducting prospect research and building relationships with corporate prospects.

You will also support the team’s administrative activities, with a focus on maintaining records and accurately recording and recognising donations, utilising our internal trackers and CRM database.

Principal accountabilities

• Manage a portfolio of low-level (£0k - £50k) corporate partners, including but not limited to fundraising, cause-related marketing, and sponsorship relationships.
• Proactively support the recruitment of new partners and the cultivation of new business opportunities. Conducting prospect research and developing impactful relationships.
• Deliver and support the team in providing first-class stewardship for corporate accounts.
• Support the creation of corporate fundraising materials e.g. posters and fundraising guides.
• Ensure contracts and legal responsibilities are drafted and in place for all partnerships and relevant activities, and conduct necessary due diligence.
• Process all thanking, banking and administration for corporate gifts received.
• Maintain and update the Raiser’s Edge NXT database in relation to your portfolio of supporters, including prospect and proposal tracking, ensuring that all data kept is in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
• Support with delivering High-Value Special Events, such as the coordination of guests, as required.
• Administration support, such as managing supporter mailings, managing the partnerships inbox and corporate web form enquiries.
• Research opportunities for development and recognition of corporate partners - e.g. charity awards .

General accountabilities.

• Develop a strong understanding of autism and the National Autistic Society’s services to demonstrate the impact donors can make to our work and the lives of autistic people.
• Work closely with colleagues across the charity to maximise income across the corporate team ensuring that financial targets are met.

Key Responsibilities
As a confident and energetic member of Global Canopy’s Development team, you will:

• Oversee the delivery of our Trusts and Foundations programme, shaping plans to ensure outstanding donor engagement and stewardship, future income growth and the delivery of our mission for forests, people and nature
• Personally manage a portfolio of prospects and existing funders at the six- and seven-figure level, inspiring them to give for the first time and continue or increase their giving
• Support the Trusts/Foundations fundraising team to develop a continuous pipeline of unrestricted and restricted funding opportunities
• Working alone and in partnership with other team members, develop high-quality tailored communications, including cases for support, bespoke proposals, concept notes and donor reports that demonstrate Global Canopy’s impact
• Engage and build relationships with peer and partner organisations to identify and explore opportunities for partnership funding applications
• Represent the voice of fundraising on strategic internal Boards and Working Groups, ensuring excellent communication flow between them and the Development team
• Collaborate effectively across the organisation at all levels, operating as a supportive and reliable fundraising colleague
• Work with colleagues across programmes, communications, operations and finance to shape annual plans and budgets 
• Leverage your understanding of market trends to adapt our approach to fundraising and donor engagement
• Effectively manage a high performing Trusts/Foundations team providing clear objectives, supervision and support to enable them to thrive in their roles
• Ensure your and the team’s work is fully compliant with both our own policies and the latest charity legislation and standards of practice
• Ensure that our CRM (Salesforce) is used effectively, kept up to date and accurately maintained with prospect and donor information
• With the Director of Income and Philanthropy Lead, contribute to the effective management of the Development team as a whole and a strong organisational fundraising culture
• Undertake any other relevant duties and projects delegated by the Director of Income

Skills and Experience
Successful candidates will:

• Have a proven track record of having identified, cultivated and secured six- and seven-figure funding partnerships with trusts/foundations
• Have proven experience of building relationships of trust, working collaboratively and in close partnership with internal stakeholders to deliver joint outcomes 
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident in synthesising complex information for external-facing, donor-friendly communication and talking with funders, prospects and stakeholders
• Be adept in negotiating in complex environments with multiple stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes 
• Be skilled in adapting your style of management to meet individual needs and provide support to team members in achieving their professional and developmental goals 
• Be familiar with the Fundraising Code of Practice and/or other relevant fundraising best practice frameworks
• Have excellent relationship management skills and high emotional intelligence
• Have strong financial literacy, including budgeting and financial reporting
• Be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities and demands
• Have experience in working in the forests, nature and/or climate sectors, preferably in a global context
• Familiarity with the human rights and social dimensions of commodity-driven deforestation and environmental degradation and/or the nexus between human rights and nature-related issues would also be beneficial

About the Role

As our Fundraising and Grants Officer, you’ll play a pivotal part in generating income to advance Hillcrest Futures’ strategic goals. You’ll take the lead on researching and writing funding applications to trusts, foundations and statutory funders, as well as supporting wider fundraising campaigns and initiatives.

Hillcrest Futures provides a wide range of services in the areas of physical and learning disabilities, autism, and older people. Further services include supporting positive mental health and wellbeing, homelessness and drug, alcohol and recovery services.

We work in people’s homes out in the community and in temporary and supported accommodation providing support from one hour a week to 24 hours a day.

This is a newly developed Careers Advisor role is funded by the North East Combined Authority and forms a core part of our strategy to improve employment outcomes for women from Black and racially minoritised communities who are not currently in work or education. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified Careers Advisor to rebuild and lead an impactful careers service within the Angelou Centre.

Many of the women we support have English as an additional language and face multiple barriers to employment. They are survivors who are on a journey to rebuilding their independence and therefore may require additional training support with household budgeting, life skills or understanding the public transport system amongst other things. Your work will directly support women to take confident, supported steps into training, volunteering and work often for the first time in the UK.

This role combines direct client work with strategic development with support from the Senior Administrator. You’ll be responsible for managing individual development plans and setting SMART goals with our service users, building local opportunity networks, and helping to develop a robust data recording system to demonstrate outcomes and impact.

We're recruiting for an Engagement Lead, to work in our Innovation & Practice team. 

As Engagement Lead you will play a central role in our team – developing, leading and managing significant projects for us, including citizens’ assemblies, citizens’ juries, deliberative workshops, and participatory processes. The Foundation for International Law for the Environment (FILE) is a not-for-profit philanthropic organisation working to accelerate legal action on climate change.

FILE is seeking an ambitious and experienced Philanthropic Partnerships Lead to lead relationships with significant funders and play a critical role in shaping and advancing FILE’s ambitious fundraising strategy. The Philanthropic Partnerships Lead will take the lead across a portfolio of existing donors and seek new funding opportunities from major philanthropic foundations.

Donor relationship management and stewardship

The Philanthropic Partnerships Lead will lead on several significant funder relationships, co-ordinating internally with FILE Leadership, the Head of Philanthropic Parnterships and strategic experts to devise and deliver excellent stewardship and donor experiences.

Position Overview: 

At CPI we believe people are at the heart of our success. We are seeking a Grants Officer (Associate)   based in Europe to join our CPI Europe (CPIE) team. Your role is  critical  in ensuring the smooth delivery of the AI Opportunity Fund. This role is responsible for the effective administration of grants including ongoing due diligence and accurate record keeping, contributing to assessing proposals and organisations, stewarding and maintaining effective relationships with grantees and wider partners,  and ensuring compliance, timely reporting and payments. Job description

We are looking for someone to provide key administrative support for our local and community energy projects. The post holder will help to build relationships and ensure robust administration, focussing primarily on our grant schemes and capacity building work with community organisations.

Pay and conditions

• The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week).
• The salary for the role will be £25,600 - £29,147.
• You will be entitled to 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays).

We will pay fees and expenses on relevant training courses.

Specific responsibilities

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• To play a key role in co-ordinating our grant giving for community organisations, including having direct communications with grantees, tracking payments, monitoring delivery, and maintaining records.
• To liaise with a range of stakeholders, potentially including community groups, local authorities, town and parish councils, and neighbourhood planning groups.
• To support the planning, promotion and delivery of training sessions, workshops and events.
• To represent CSE on a range of projects, in external in-person and online meetings and events.
• To support promotion of CSE projects, activities, reports and publications to ensure effective engagement with the target audience.

Essential attributes for this role include:

• 5 GCSEs at grade A-C or equivalent, including English (or 4 or above).
• Providing administrative support in an organisation or project context.
• Working on more than one project or set of tasks at once, working to deadlines and being accountable for your time.
• Engaging and supporting a range of stakeholders.
• Planning and delivering effective in person and online events.
• Understanding broad themes driving the sustainable energy, fuel poverty and climate change work of CSE, and an appetite to learn and improve your understanding.
• Able to use Teams, Zoom or other online meeting platforms.
• Grant scheme delivery and grant management systems.
