Job Title: Digital and Website Officer

Location: Hybrid (split between home-working and either London, Cardiff or Edinburgh)
*This role sits within a pay grade with a pay range of £26,887 to £42,371. The salary on appointment will be set at the lower end of the pay range, to a maximum of £34,629 depending on the candidate's skills and experience. This approach aims to ensure fair compensation for new hires while maintaining alignment with the structured pay scale for the role.

Context and purpose of role
We are looking for a Digital and Website Officer to join our Campaigns and Communications Team. The role holder will take a leading role in digital marketing, optimising our website using a data-led approach, and maintaining our digital asset management system.
Working with colleagues across the Supporter Engagement & Experience division and the wider business, they will also contribute to the development and delivery of marketing activities that deliver against brand and income targets.
They will work to upskill people across the organisation – including volunteers - to achieve greater impact with digital communications.
Key responsibilities
- Website – act as the GB web admin, working in partnership with the Digital Technical team to manage user journeys and ensure content is high quality and search engine optimised in line with the website strategy.
- Digital marketing – Create and implement digital marketing activity in line with the agreed digital strategy and against agreed return on investment targets. Create and implement digital marketing plans to support advocacy and marketing initiatives for our programmes using relevant digital channels for the target audience
- Content development – source / develop content and assets such as case studies, videos, blogs and images to drive engagement across digital channels including the Ramblers app. Ensure all content is of high quality, permissioned and easy for colleagues to find within the digital asset management system.
- Insight– undertake regular reporting and apply data insights to shape content, campaign and creative outputs, applying a test and learn approach.
- Campaigning - Support policy and public affairs, to influence and deliver messaging to local or national agencies to maintain and improve access to the outdoors for all.
- Fundraising - Support fundraising with business development and income generation through developing and responding to opportunities that meet the aims of the Ramblers and achieve income targets.
- Volunteering - Foster a positive and inclusive volunteer experience, promoting alignment with our values and ensuring volunteers have the necessary resources, training, and ongoing support to effectively contribute to our work

The Person
Knowledge and Experience
Marketing - multi-channel marketing experience incl website,digital advertising (Meta, Google (PPC, Display), Google grant) & social media
Digital – experience of managing a range of digital channels including developing and managing a complex website set up, working with a CMS, SEO copy development and Google Analytics set up and management. Knowledge of improving user experience and engagement on owned channels
Branding –understanding of the importance of branding to ensure that everything we do across our comms and our activities helps build the brand
Insights – a curious mind that allows you to develop and apply data and audience insights to strengthen performance
Legal - a broad understanding of copyright and data protection laws.
Skills and Leadership
People – able to build good relationships with others and them develop their digital skills.
Systems - experience of using Drupal, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Salesforce, DAM (desirable but not essential)

About the role
We are looking for a skilled trusts and foundations fundraiser to join the Business Development team at ClientEarth for a 12 month maternity cover. Carolina brings over nine years of experience in the public and international development sector, with a strong track record in securing funding from trusts, foundations, corporate and institutional donors. She has worked with a diverse range of NGOs, supporting programmes focused on humanitarian aid, human rights, and sustainable development. She is based in our London office.
Main Duties
- Undertake prospect research and due diligence to scope potential new funders
- Draft clear and compelling fundraising materials including cases for support, funding proposals, and concept notes
- Meet with funder contact points to understand their interests/priorities, present proposals and provide insight to ClientEarth’s work
- Support the development and improvement of team systems and processes to enable effective and efficient working

We’re seeking someone to join our community fundraising and events team at the Royal Society for Blind Children (RSBC) and help us grow our income to support children and young people with vision impairments.
This role joins us at an exciting time as we are building our community and events fundraising programme and offering new ways to engage. A focus of this role will be supporting our London Marathon team – a pillar of our C&E fundraising – building on the outstanding stewardship journey we offer our runners, and crucially thinking creatively about the stewardship journey once they’ve crossed the finish line, inspiring our fundraisers to continue supporting us.

The ideal candidate will have advanced relationship building skills and experience in community and/or events fundraising, proven ability to achieve income targets and build community networks nationally, working knowledge of CRM databases.

Meet your Manager
In this role, you will be managed by Lydia Baker. Lydia joined ClientEarth in August 2024 and in her role as a Grants Manager is responsible for managing relationships with key funders. Lydia has worked in the NGO sector for over eight years and has expertise in a variety of functions including grant management, programme management, communications and monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning. On a day-to-day basis you will work closely with Lydia as part of an established Grants Team that sits within the Development Department at ClientEarth.
Main Duties
- Funding portfolio management - Have a close and in-depth knowledge of their grants portfolio, including a sound understanding of the philanthropic, institutional and statutory funding mix;
- Internal and external communications - Meet with Trust, Foundation and Institution portfolio managers to discuss proposals, provide updates on the programmatic work, and to formally report back on financial, organisational and technical issues;
- Project management - Effectively manage reporting and the grant renewal process from start to completion including working with multiple teams across ClientEarth’s European and international offices to ensure input from all avenues to complete proposals and reports in a timely and high-quality manner; and
- Financial planning and budget handling - Work with Finance and Programmes staff to develop individual budgets for funding proposals
- Systems and processes - Maintain funder database systems (Raiser’s Edge) and other organisational databases (SharePoint) on a daily basis

The Stories Officer sits in the Marketing and Communications team and will focus on:
· Assist in managing storytelling requests from across RNID, providing vital support and crafting impactful and compelling narratives.

· Manage and update our centralised database of case studies, celebrities, and influencers, ensuring all stories across the charity are recorded for effective stewardship. Maintain storyteller profiles, contact details, permissions, and consent forms while ensuring GDPR compliance in data collection and storage.
· Collaborate with PR, fundraising, digital, and campaigning teams to integrate storytelling into their work, identify their needs, and match case studies or celebrities to relevant projects.
· Support the development and delivery of storytelling content across multiple platforms, including social media, website, press, and marketing materials, ensuring content meets accessibility standards.

It is a very exciting time to join the MS Society as Evidence Programme Lead. We are implementing an ambitious cross-organisational transformation programme. And we have just started a new 2025-29 strategy.
We’re looking for a person with strong social research skills who has the ability to lead our Evidence team. We’re looking for someone who can work collaboratively across the organisation to ensure we’re developing our evidence base to inform our work.
With extensive experience and knowledge of applied research, evaluation and data analysis, you’ll provide strategic leadership to design, develop and deliver a programme of evidence projects as well as managing a team of evidence officers, identifying gaps in our evidence and providing advice about how to fill them.
You’ll deliver internal projects and commission external research projects, working with colleagues in policy, press, campaigns and beyond to do so. Contributing to key internal working groups will be another key aspect of the role, as well as monitoring and responding to requests for evidence. And you’ll be committed to ensuring people with MS are involved in the design and delivery of evidence projects and to ensuring we seek views from people from a wide range of backgrounds.

Hours: 0.8 FTE (four days a week)
Location: Hybrid, with a focus on London. You’ll need to be in London to work from our office (near Victoria) one day a week and have about two other days per week to attend meetings with policy makers and our members. About the Fair Education Alliance
The Fair Education Alliance (FEA) unites 300 member organisations under a shared vision that no child’s success is limited by their socioeconomic background.
Our members (charities and social enterprises, think tanks, businesses and foundations, youth organisations, unions, universities and schools) are working collectively to create an inclusive system. We exist to close the gap in educational outcomes between children from low-income households and their wealthier peers.
This autumn, we’re kicking off our next strategic phase, which will take our work from neighbourhood to national, building a movement for systems change towards a fairer future for children and young people.
Why we need you
The gaps in educational outcomes between children from low-income households and their wealthier peers are staggering at every stage of education. This goes on to increase the likelihood that young people from low-income households will be out of employment, education, or training. We take a systems change approach to shifting the conditions that hold these inequities in place. With the next phase of our strategy underway—building a movement from neighbourhood to national—we need someone who can help us influence policy and practice with insight, evidence and urgency.
We aim to bring insights from our diverse and expert membership to policymakers, ensuring that local, regional and national policies best serve children and young people from low-income backgrounds. We support members to organise around themes through our collective action working groups, which have advised Government on topics such as Family Hubs, the Curriculum and Assessment Review, and the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill, and will continue to contribute expertise to upcoming policy moments related to SEND, Skills England and Ofsted. We also support youth voice in policymaking through our Youth Steering Group, which has contributed independently to major policy developments, bringing valuable lived experience to decision-making. From September, we’ll also support members, young people and government bodies to craft regional policy and practice that benefits children and young people from low-income backgrounds.
Our Digital Membership Tools (Member Directory and interactive Ecosystem Map) have the potential to play a crucial role in our policy work. These tools help members, funders, and policymakers target their work to where it is most needed. There is a wealth of data in these tools: the Ecosystem Map is the only place that marries up publicly available information about pupil demographics and outcomes with information about all 22,000 schools where our members are working. It shows where there is strong or weak provision related to different types of support, at a school, local authority, constituency, MAT or regional level, together with the outcomes pupils are achieving.
We now need someone who can harness these assets to produce compelling insights and engage policymakers—from local authorities and combined authorities to central government and funders. This role will turn data into impact: creating clear, targeted reports that support decision-making, identifying gaps and opportunities, and helping us tell the story of how education can—and must—be fairer.
What we’re asking of you
Develop a strategy to influence policy from neighbourhood to national
You’ll lead our approach to turning insights into influence—connecting our data, member knowledge and youth voice to shape policy that improves outcomes for children and young people. That means designing a strategy that engages decision-makers at all levels, from civil servants and funders to combined authorities and Parliament. You’ll identify the right stakeholders and entry points, use our Ecosystem Map and Member Directory to generate targeted insights, and align our regional and national work for maximum impact.
Translate data into insight—and insight into action
You’ll be responsible for developing reports and briefings that tell powerful stories with data. Working closely with our Data Officer, you’ll design templates and processes to produce timely, high-quality outputs that are tailored to different audiences, and that enable the wider team to do so. You’ll complement our datasets with wider research and trends, and ensure our insights are used by both internal colleagues and external stakeholders to inform programmes, policy and funding decisions.
Engage senior stakeholders and building meaningful relationships
You’ll represent the Alliance in meetings, roundtables, and events—sharing evidence and building trusted relationships with policymakers, civil servants, and funders. You’ll understand their priorities, and tailor our insights accordingly. This is a two-way relationship: you’ll also feed what you learn, ensuring that our influencing work is responsive and grounded in both national priorities and lived experience.
Manage projects and continuously improve our tools
You’ll oversee the systems and processes that make our insights work possible—ensuring reporting cycles are efficient, quality is consistent, and new datasets are brought into our tools where they add value. You’ll help embed insights across the FEA team, supporting colleagues to use data from the Tools in their work and helping to identify emerging opportunities. You will evaluate the impact of your approaches and strategise for the future of the Tools and our influencing work. You’ll also work with our funders to report on the impact of the tools and shape their future development.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on World Cancer Research Fund International’s Global Cancer Update Programme (CUP Global). CUP Global (previously known as CUP) is a unique, long-standing, and rigorous research programme that systematically gathers, analyses, and judges the strength of the global evidence on how diet, nutrition, physical activity and body weight affect cancer risk and survival. This work led to the publication of the authoritative Third Expert Report in 2018, which now needs updating in places to remain relevant and impactful.
As Senior Research Interpretation Officer, you will be a valuable member of the Research Interpretation team and the CUP Global scientific Secretariat. Your core work will be supporting the management of CUP Global on a day-to-day basis to help deliver its main objective of updating the Third Expert Report. You will provide scientific input, administrative support, and help coordinate specific work areas of CUP Global.
We are looking to recruit someone who has a Masters degree in public health sciences, particularly nutrition and/or cancer research, and with a good understanding of epidemiological concepts. We are seeking someone with experience of writing scientifically, copywriting, editing and proofreading, with good attention to detail and with experience of reviewing and interpreting scientific research/literature.
