We are seeking a Training & Engagement Manager to work across our portfolio of programmes, particularly focusing on Education in the North East of England and our Parental Engagement Programme. You will be creative, adaptable and proactive, with the ability to work remotely, autonomously and as part of a small team. Main Role & Responsibilities
As our Training & Engagement Manager, Parents & Education, you will be an active member of our programmes team and will work across our portfolio of programmes, with particular focus on the education and parental engagement programmes.
You will have responsibility for stakeholder engagement, developing relationships and promoting Ygam training in the North-East of England (Education) and nationally (Parents). You will recruit suitable delegates to workshops, working closely with a range of stakeholders from schools, youth organisations, children’s services to parents and carers.
You will also provide training both face to face and online and will be responsible for the delivery of our assured workshops and promoting the work of Ygam at conferences and events. You will work with organisations to collate case studies and evidence, supporting the programme's achievements and our overall impact.

About the role:
The Head of Operations will oversee the day-to-day running of the global operations of Reprieve UK and Reprieve US and our work around the globe.

Further information
This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 40% per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. Working under the direction of the Director Policy & Advocacy Europe, the Sr. Program Officer will be responsible for the implementation of IFAW’s global programmatic strategies in the UK region. The role is permanent and full-time; and will be based in the UK and subject to IFAW’s policies on remote/hybrid work arrangements.
Role and Responsibilities
· Work collaboratively with UK and global staff to deliver IFAW’s global program goals in the UK, with an initial focus on IFAW’s wildlife crime program.
· Develop the strategy and operational plans for policy advocacy, program implementation and research within the framework of IFAW’s global programs and policies, ensuring that budgets, targets, and performance indicators are set and work monitored, evaluated, and reported effectively within the organisation’s reporting mechanisms.
· Proactively identify, assess, and respond to all relevant developments within public policy, capitalizing upon opportunities to push IFAW’s priority policy calls and achieve positive changes in policy and legislation, ensuring IFAWs global policies and approaches to conservation and animal rescue are represented adequately in UK politics and key institutions.
· Build and maintain relationships with policymakers and stakeholders in law enforcement, academia, private sector (where relevant) and civil society organisations.
· Support the IFAW’s fundraising teams, when relevant, with the development of the UKs institutional grant funding portfolios and major giving opportunities, including developing pitches and undertaking face-to-face meetings with potential supporters.
· Work with the UK communications team to support media strategies around IFAW’s programmatic work, acting as a media spokesperson where appropriate.
· Manage budgets relating to programmatic activities.
· Ensure effective internal communication on UK program implementation and successes.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· At least 5 years of relevant experience, in areas such as nonprofit management, wildlife conservation, policy development and advocacy, project and financial management, stakeholder engagement.
· Demonstrated experience of successful political engagement on difficult issues, with a track record of skillfully navigating parliamentary structures and government decision-making to achieve political or governmental support.
· Strong network of political and governmental contacts and knowledge of policy and legislation development within the UK.
· Good knowledge of what wildlife crime entails, and who the key actors are that aim to combat wildlife crime, is highly desired. Specific expertise in wildlife cyber-enabled crime a bonus. Strong knowledge of species identification and CITES are a bonus as is experience in issues around transparency and tackling corruption.
· Proven track record of program delivery, working within dispersed and multidisciplinary teams. Experience of working in a global organisation, within a matrix model is preferable. Experience of commissioning research or working with academic institutions a plus.
· A resourceful problem-solver, with strong critical thinking skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure.
· Proven ability to work effectively through networks and coalitions to achieve change and to communicate constructively with partners and funders and fulfill their reporting requirements.
· Culturally sensitive, proven record of accomplishment of working with diverse, multi-cultural teams. Effective communication skills, including listening skills.
· Experience of public speaking to reach a diverse range of audiences and/or being a media spokesperson,

Key Responsibilities
- Ask for and check references for new volunteers
- Coordinate and attend volunteer recruitment events, such as Universities; organise volunteers and staff to support
- Follow up with prospective volunteers to encourage them to apply
- Work with the Communications team to promote volunteering opportunities online

What the job involves
The Policy and Health Influencing teams are responsible for using clinical data and evidence to shape what the organisation thinks and to develop solutions that drive change for men with and at risk of prostate cancer. This means working with clinicians, patients and stakeholders to interpret the latest changes in prostate cancer research, care, support and treatment which will help shape our strategic direction and activities.
As the Health Improvement Coordinator, you're key to supporting these teams. You'll have a varied and far-reaching portfolio of work and sometimes arranging important stakeholder events and meetings ensuring we're hearing from people who've been through prostate cancer themselves. You'll also help share our work on social media and capturing the outcomes of our external engagement.
In this role you’ll assist us in keeping track of and evaluating our progress in line with our organisational strategy, as well as keeping an eye on trends in the wider cancer and health landscape and reporting on them. Plus, you'll handle budget matters and make sure we have effective budget monitoring mechanisms in place.

We’re looking for a Coordinator who is highly organised, an effective communicator and know how to adapt and effectively prioritise your time. KCLSU is looking for a Student Voice Coordinator work within the Student Voice team to coordinate the development and delivery of representation practices, and embed these processes across KCLSU’s Community Engagement Department and our student voice partnership work with King’s College London. This will be focused on Student Futures, a large-scale transformation portfolio King’s College London is undertaking.
Student Futures aims to improve student experiences in key areas across the next three years. Job Specification
ENHANCING REPRESENTATIVE PROCESSES
• Act as central point of contact for colleagues across King’s and KCLSU for centralising and sharing information about student voice and representation structures related to Transformation Office projects;
• Set up and oversee systems for the management of student representative data between KCLSU and various King’s project teams;
• Ensure that all areas of student representative recruitment, induction, and support are conducted smoothly;
• Record student attendance and other participation data to support evaluation processes and ensure appropriate remuneration;
• Support the payment of remuneration and/or incentives to student participants where required, working with the KCLSU Finance and relevant King’s teams to ensure this is appropriately administered and recorded.
ORGANISING REPRESENTATION PRACTICES

As Fellowship Growth and Partnerships Officer you will be responsible for delivering the growth and development of the organisations network of over 31,000 Fellows in line with the overarching operational strategy.
