The Perse Development function typically raises around £250,000 each year.  Our aim is to grow this amount significantly such that the majority of our charitable activities can be funded by charitable donations.  Our School was founded in 1615 by Dr Stephen Perse as an educational charity, providing free places for 100 ‘poor scholars’.  We now have an ambitious long-term vision to re-establish an endowment to fund bursaries and our other charitable aims in perpetuity.

Building on good foundations of successful fundraising and relationship management, an experienced and inspiring Head of Development will significantly increase levels of philanthropic income to the School.

Working closely with the Principal, governors and senior leaders, our new Head of Development will help deliver our fundraising strategy and make a positive difference to the lives of young people, both now and well into the future.

Myeloma UK is looking for a driven and pro-active Events Fundraiser to join our growing Community and Events team.  You’ll be joining the team as we continue to refine and expand our mass participation events portfolio including London Paris Ride, Great North Run and 100 miles for myeloma. You will have experience in event delivery or project planning, delivering these activities within tight deadlines while successfully building effective relationships.

The role holder will have strong administration skills, attention to detail and work as part of a team.  You will be self-motivated and able to work remotely with little supervision, managing a wide range of tasks and having an interest in sporting and mass participation fundraising events.

Previous experience or knowledge of digital marketing, virtual fundraising events and using Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM system would be an advantage but not essential. 

About the role

As the Events Fundraiser you will be required to research, promote and deliver fundraising events, campaigns and activities, providing excellent stewardship to supporters, whilst working to help achieve monthly fundraising income targets.  You will work to deliver an annual calendar of runs, walks, challenge and sporting events across the UK as well increasing support through Myeloma UK virtual and Facebook events.

The role holder will work with the Senior Event Development Fundraiser to provide the highest quality of event delivery as well as developing relationships, securing support, marketing, delivering and monitoring the event ensuring post event evaluation and future recommendations are made.  They will also work closely with Community Fundraisers, supporting them as they identify opportunities to expand and diversify their fundraising portfolio.

You will work with other teams, develop materials required to support all marketing and promotion of events, ensuring organisational brand, style and key messages are adopted and ensure maximum use of database and other technology to increase operational efficiency within event fundraising.

We are seeking a Wilder Communities Officer (Testwood) to join our cause.  

To succeed in putting nature in recovery, we need more people on nature’s side – to support the Trust, to take action themselves and to persuade others to do things differently. The science suggests that to create a social tipping point in society where we can turn things around for climate and wildlife, we need 1 in 4 people to take meaningful action in support of the natural world. 

As part of the Testwood team, this role will use community organising approaches to support the community to take action for nature, on and around one of the Trust’s flagship reserves, Testwood Lakes. Testwood Lakes Nature Reserve is a popular destination for the public and provides an important countryside destination in close proximity to Totton and Southampton. Part of the reserve is a multifunctional site providing access and use for angling, recreation and dog walkers. Our Education Centre provides space for visiting school groups, and at weekends, hosts a variety of children and family activities. 

The post holder will work with Trust staff, other charities and communities to make a real difference to people’s connection with nature. They will play an active role in managing and developing excellent relationships and support in behaviour change of visitors. The role supports positive community engagement and action for nature as well as actively supporting site management. Positive and confident engagement is a necessity to promote the wildlife importance of the reserve and Trust’s interests while reinforcing responsible use of the site.

You will manage statutory filings and compliance processes with Companies House, Charity Commission, and other regulators. You will maintain accurate governance records, policies, and filing systems in line with GDPR and audit requirements. You will support onboarding, training, and governance advice for Trustees, Directors, and Council members. You will oversee and improve governance frameworks, ensuring consistent templates, systems, and best practice. You will provide support with health and safety governance, risk registers, and insurance renewals in collaboration with internal teams. You will play a key role in coordinating governance reviews, policy updates, and supporting continuous improvement across governance and compliance functions.

You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent professional experience. You will have relevant knowledge of company and/or charity law, GDPR, and ESG reporting. You will have proven experience supporting Boards and Committees, in either the commercial or not for profit sectors. You will have a strong understanding of governance and statutory compliance requirements (Companies House and Charity Commission). 

You will have experience of coordinating board papers, preparing agendas, and minute-taking. You will have the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion. PURPOSE

The Fundraising Database Manager will support the Development team by overseeing and managing fundraising data analytics and reporting management, data systems, and related processes, to ensure alignment with the WHO Foundation’s strategic goals and data driven decision making. Our data analytics and reporting framework is at a foundational stage and requires development from the ground up, including the implementation of meaningful reporting and insights—making this role critical to its success.

REPORTS TO

The Fundraising Database Manager will report to the Head of Development Operations at the WHO Foundation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Management: 

• Administer and maintain the integrity of the data inputted into WHO Foundation’s CRM (Salesforce) and ensure fundraising data records are accurate and up-to-date. 

• Work closely with the Operations PMO office and the IT manager, which oversees the overall consistency of the information systems architecture to  ensure that Salesforce functionality meet the Foundation’s fundraising needs,

• Ensure that Salesforce is utilised effectively to fully meet the Foundation’s needs, as well as identifying areas for further process development.

• Demonstrate the ability to clean, format, and import data into Salesforce, using input obtained from team members across the Foundation in a timely and efficient manner.

• Liaise with the Operations PMO lead and external consultants and suppliers to support integrations with other fundraising platforms or other services when required.

• Regularly review and update existing data management processes and procedures.

• Provide ongoing training and develop training materials for Foundation newcomers and team members on the effective use of Salesforce and other relevant data procedures, ensuring adoption of best practices.

• Work closely with the Prospect Research team to implement a successful Prospect Management System within the CRM 

• Manages, troubleshoots, and works to resolve data analysis, reporting and systems issues and complexities as it relates to the Development team or data

• Facilitate discussions between leadership, fundraisers, WHO leadership and other stakeholders to identify needs and develop data structures and a salesforce environment that will support solutions and more effective fundraising.

Reporting and Insights: 

• Design and maintain a suite of Salesforce dashboards that provide real-time visibility into fundraising performance, pipeline health, and key KPIs.

• Deliver accurate and timely reporting - both regular and ad-hoc - for senior leadership, fundraisers, and operations teams.

• Develop and refine reporting mechanisms that inform the strategic planning of the EMT, Board, WHO colleagues, Development and Operations team.

• Create complex queries and supporter data selections to meet the needs of fundraising, stewardship, and communications functions.

• Implement and manage data hygiene reporting, regularly monitoring database integrity, sharing insights with colleagues, and partnering with them to strengthen data quality across the Foundation.

Gift Processing:

• Ensure that the rules defined for cultivation processes are applied consistently by all fundraisers and partner with the Finance team to ensure reconciliation with our financial accounts.

• Work closely with the Legal function to ensure accurate donor research records and due diligence are properly conducted and recorded. 

• Conduct quality checks to ensure the Foundation maintains accurate electronic records within the CRM of all gifts made to the Foundation, including the storage of important documents such as gift agreements and due diligence reports (liaising with the Legal team), which pertain to the Foundation’s relationship with our supporters and stakeholders. 

• Work with the Ops teams to manage an effective system for tracking overdue/outstanding pledge instalments and payments for the Foundation to be followed up.

PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in any academic field. 

• Minimum of 7+ years of relevant professional experience in a Database Management role within a fundraising organization.

• Agile and IT-savvy approach with a demonstrable record of success in working with CRMs. Candidates with significant experience in Salesforce preferred.

• Experience of relationship building and management with various stakeholders internally and externally.

• Demonstrated success in building data analytics and reporting frameworks to support fundraising pipelines and reporting.

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills; able to translate diverse needs into effective technical solutions.

• Experience training colleagues, developing process documentation, and managing projects

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of French or other UN languages is an asset.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with data privacy, GDPR and compliance in global fundraising context

Youth Development Outreach Worker

Oasis Community Hub Hadley encompasses a variety of integrated and diverse community projects which together have a common aim to bring transformation to the whole person and the whole community. 

Oasis Community Hub Hadley is looking to recruit a Youth Development Outreach Worker to join the Oasis Youth Support project at North Middlesex University Hospital. This project offers support to young people who have attended the Emergency Department due to violence in order to promote positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Offering intensive 1:1 support to the young people referred to the project by hospital staff following an attendance at ED due to violence or aggression. Support for the young person can include liaising with parents/carers, safeguarding services and other agencies/networks with the purpose of increasing positive outcomes.

· Being a physical presence in the department, working with key staff within NMUH to ensure all young people who come into ED as a result of a violence or aggression are able to access support where required.

· Planning and delivering sessions focusing around specific areas of violence reduction for young people and professionals.

You could be successful in this role if you: 

· Have a relevant experience working with young people using a Youth Work approach and seen a positive impact from that work

· Are committed and passionate about working with young people who have experienced violence using a young person centred, trauma informed approach.

· Possess excellent oral/written communication and organisational skills.

The Role

As Fundraising Manager, you’ll play a central role in helping Winning Scotland deliver sustainable growth by identifying and securing new income across trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, statutory and government funding, and public sector contracts.
