West Yorkshire Pathfinder Partnership (WYPP) is to be launched as a 12-month pilot, following successful programmes in other UK areas. Staying Put are proud to lead this partnership of 5 exceptional providers of domestic abuse services; Leeds Domestic Violence Service represented by Leeds Women’s Aid and Behind Closed Doors, WomenCentre, Pennine Domestic Abuse Partnership and Wakefield Domestic Abuse Service.

We are now looking to set up our team of dedicated and passionate Family Court IDVAs. There are vacancies in Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees for this post, the salary will be the same across the partnership, however the terms and conditions may vary.

You will be employed by one of the above organisations and be based in one location, however there is the need for flexibility and expectation of travel across all areas, at times.

About the role

This role will play a crucial part in supporting individuals, families and children through the family court process as part of the Pathfinder programme. Working as part of a strong multi-agency team across the courts of West Yorkshire, you will ensure the voice of the survivor informs every stage of the process. Using a client-led and trauma-informed approach, this role provides high-quality advocacy support to survivors of domestic abuse.

• Various hours available – Between 15 hours or 22.5 hours (2 or 3 days) Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
• £27,898 – £28,898 FTE per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
• 12 month fixed-term contract initially. There is the possibility of extension, depending on successful outcomes of the pilot.

The Foundation for International Law for the Environment (FILE) is a not-for-profit philanthropic organisation working to accelerate legal action on climate change.

Role overview

The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis is a key leadership role within the Finance Team at FILE, responsible for the financial planning cycle and management information, business partnering support across the organisation, and financial reporting to donors.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Lead the FP&A team at FILE, including setting team vision, annual team planning and objectives
• Lead annual planning process across income, granting plans and operational expenditure, developing innovative approaches
• Ensure robust quarterly forecasting process supports resource planning, strategic operational expenditure investment decisions and guides the allocation of unrestricted and flexible funding to highest impact
• Ensure prompt monthly Management Information, implementing reporting tools, dashboards and  automation where possible
• Ensure key stakeholders across the Grants Team, Donor Relations Team and across FILE receive high value business partner support to enable strategic decision-making, in addition to support on individual donor proposals, grants and operational expenditure decisions
• Develop and implement a new donor proposal budgeting process
• Ensure financial reporting to donors is on time, accurate and high quality
• Oversee Grant Assurance, support finance colleagues with statutory and donor audits as required, and collaborate with the Legal Counsel and Head of Grants on grant risk reporting
• Ensure Grant Management System has strong controls and user administration and collaborate with Finance Team colleagues on data reconciliations
• Drive process improvement, and develop best practice guidance, training and induction materials for budget holders, tools and templates for grantmaking and donor management.

Recovery Coordinator

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recovery Coordinator to support Waythrough’s service delivery within Reconnected to Health in HMYOI Deerbolt .As a Recovery Coordinator, you will provide 1:1 support for service users, from brief interventions through to structured treatment, including groups, to ensure that every recovery journey is tailored to individual priorities. You will take a “whole person” holistic approach to ensure that every service user’s package of care encompasses all areas of their wellbeing, to achieve the best possible outcomes for every person. 

• Manage a service user caseload, devising, implementing and reviewing on-going recovery plans and treatment, liaising closely with the full range of workers and skills within the service team, including family members and significant others as appropriate.
• Carry out triage/screening assessments and comprehensive assessments with service users.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to undertake shared assessments, key working and interventions to promote individual service user progression from engagement, through structured treatment to self-sustained recovery.
• Facilitate service user access to treatment and community resources to increase recovery and social capital, supporting service users and their families within their local community To lead effective case management for allocated service users, including on-going processes such as risk assessments, risk management plans and safeguarding assessments and plans. This includes the effective use of an online case management system.

Sands exists to save babies’ lives and ensure that anyone affected by pregnancy loss or baby death receives the support and care they need.

Bereaved parents and families are at the heart of why Sands exists. Sharing their experiences of pregnancy and baby loss, and what connects and involves them with our work, is both an important part of their bereavement journey and a way to demonstrate the need for our vision and mission to succeed. This role will help us to show in a real and human, authentic way, what Sands is doing to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families.

Sharing these personal stories in external communications will help us reach more people, bringing to life the work we do in a way that engages diverse audiences, and increasing the likelihood of their taking actions in support of Sands.  

This new role has been developed to support the Communications & Engagement team to develop our story-telling function, build our real stories library and ensure the associated consent and stewardship processes are compassionate, efficient and effective. The Role

To undertake all aspects of warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient distribution of food each day. You will have responsibility for coordination of our food stock, from goods-in to picking, dispatch and stock rotation and will be expected to drive vans, and Fork Lift Trucks (training provided). Working closely with the wider team and volunteers, you will also support the monitoring and utilisation of warehouse space, stock, deliveries and collections to ensure food reaches its destination amongst our members safely, on time and in full.

Key duties and responsibilities:

1. Operations

• Undertake all warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient co-ordination and distribution and of food
• To work to performance indicators so that stock is accurate and delivery routes are efficient to allow the organisation to grow
• To ensure that all work areas – both inside and outside the warehouse - are clean, organised and safe to work in
• Follow all H&S and Food Safety standards set out in the FareShare policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all our colleagues & visitors, and the safe receipt of food by all our members.
• Undertake van/Fork Lift Truck driving duties to ensure effective, efficient timely and safe delivery & collection of food, in line with compliance standards
• Ensuring great customer service in delivery

About the Role:

The role of the Domestic Abuse Team Leader is to provide operational support and management to a team of Independent Domestic Violence advisors (IDVAs) that provide a high-quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse in Cumbria. This will include those at the highest risk of harm and victims of rape and serious sexual assault.

To be successful in this role you will be flexible and proactive, have knowledge and experience of delivering a service and working directly with clients or service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting. A proven track record of managing a team delivering services of similar nature and scope, including performance management and staff development is essential. You will have experience of voluntary and statutory agencies, including a good understanding of the criminal justice, health and social care sectors.

About the role:

This role is based in Rochdale Police station along with some hybrid working, you must be prepared to travel across the borough of Rochdale.

As a IDVA you will deliver specialist and enhanced support to victims/survivors who have experienced Domestic Violence Abuse. You will be responsible for providing high quality interventions through the development of individually tailored & risk assessed support and safety plans.

You will need:

• To conduct comprehensive needs and risk assessments and ensure each victim/survivor receives an individual tailored support package that fully meets their identified needs, including safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• To Provide one to one support to victim/survivor who has been affected by domestic abuse.
• The ability to review the assessment of risk on an ongoing basis, ensuring appropriate and immediate action is taken in respect of any victim/survivor facing significant harm, making the necessary referrals to MARAC and local safeguarding processes as required given the legal framework relating to the protection of children and the policy and procedures of the Local Safeguarding Children's Board.
• To establish links with relevant statutory partners in Social Care, Education, Health, Police and Housing, with the intention of supporting children and young people who have been impacted by domestic abuse. Attend meetings as required.
• Ideally a background in Social Worker, Police or Domestic Abuse would be advantageous

The Service

Newham Together Café is a high paced, out-of-hours mental health service provided by MindTHNR, in collaboration with NHS East London Foundation Trust (NEFLT). It provides a safe space for people who may be experiencing or moving towards a mental health crisis. The service will offer a range of psychotherapeutic interventions including 1-1 support and safety plans, wellness & recovery action plans and therapeutic groups. 

Newham Together Cafe has an asset-based approach, focusing on the strengths and coping skills of people using the service, helping them to understand how they could use these strengths to decrease their own distress and promote their wellbeing.

The service at the Café will be co-produced with those who use it as well as with local voluntary, statutory and community-based organisations. The Café strives to be a warm, welcoming and non-stigmatising environment, offering a range of therapeutic activities and a quiet, low sensory space to cater for individual needs and aspirations.

 

Purpose of the role

The main purpose of this role is to draw upon personal experiences of mental health issues and use these experiences in a positive and enlightening way to support others who are at a crisis point in their recovery journey. You will provide quality support and interventions to those at crisis point or likely to experience a mental health crisis, as an alternative to using statutory crisis services.

This service is open every day, so we have variable schedules Monday to Sunday including weekends and Bank Holidays [2:00PM-9:30PM]. You must be able to work these shift patterns to be considered for this role.

The Trust offers hybrid working, with staff splitting their time between offices, reserves, visitor centres and some remote work, depending on their role.
