About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and strong Administrator, preferably with HR recruitment and administrative experience; to support our newly formed people-oriented team. This is a key role within Women and Girls Network (WGN) and requires someone with sound experience of working within a multidisciplinary team within the charity sector. You must have a keen interest in the HR field and keen to progress on this career path.

This role is offered on a part-time basis (28 hours / 4 days per week) and will involve working from WGN’s Vauxhall office for a minimum of two days per week. Depending on service and organisational requirements, there may also be a need to work at one of our community-based offices in West London or additional days at the Vauxhall office.

About the role

In this role, you'll play a key part in upskilling practitioners who support victims and witnesses of crime, helping them develop the soft skills needed to make a meaningful impact. You'll be at the forefront of modern learning design, applying contemporary thinking and innovative approaches to shape materials that are both practical and powerful. You'll need to be a dynamic learning professional with a strong grasp of learning theory and a flair for designing engaging, outcome-driven content across multiple formats.

You will;

• Support the scoping of learning needs with L&D colleagues and make recommendations on potential learning interventions.
• Lead on the design and implementation of virtual and in person learning and other interventions (including independent learning resources, handbooks, tools), within a project management framework, working with a range of key stakeholders, ensuring products are designed within scope, delivered on time, within budget and achieve the desired outcome.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation collating learning needs and providing consultation on effective learning solutions.
• Lead on the continuous improvement of learning across the organisation, using various sources of information, to make recommendations on amendments. Take ownership of courses and conduct scheduled reviews on content and the effectiveness of the intervention.
• Create new ways of learning across the organisation enhancing opportunities such as peer learning, independent learning, on the job learning and virtual communities.

It is essential to be able to work without direct supervision, prioritise work and deal with competing and conflicting demands in an organised and effective manner. The post is for 37.5 hours per week and a degree of flexibility is necessary. This role will work from home but will have moderate travel nationally across the organisation.

St Giles and The Wise Group came together to form a partnership with the aim of supporting the Probation Resettlement reforms by offering a high-quality service underpinned by staff who have lived experience and cultural competency. As a result, we have been awarded contracts to deliver Women’s Services for North Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Durham. The service will provide holistic support to sentenced women in the community and those sentenced and un-sentenced in custodial settings.

About this key role

Our successful candidate will monitor and manage the receipt of referrals from Probation through the Customer Approved System (CAS) ensuring they are successfully assigned to Personal Wellbeing Coaches using the appropriate guidance and process, ensure all inputting is accurate and within agreed timescales, plus provide regular activity reports to the Personal Wellbeing Manager.  You will be the primary point of contact for all enquiries, external and internal to ensure communication channels are clear and effective, while also liaising with external stakeholders (e.g. Prisons), delivery partners, spot purchase providers and other agencies to arrange appointments, referrals, and generally ensure information exchanged is done in a clear, timely and effective manner.

Monitor and manage the Case management systems to ensure all inputting is accurate and within agreed timescales and provide regular activity reports to the Senior Administrator. Providing administration for meetings, including bookings, invitations and minute-taking, are also vital duties.

What we are looking for

• Experience of managing a case management system including inputting data and creating reports.
• ·Experience of working in services providing administrative support in a busy, pressurised environment.
• Experience of working in services which provide support to people who have faced adversity and disadvantage.
• Ability to develop and maintain means by which compliance with policy and procedure can be effectively monitored and reported on including financial expenditure.
• Ability to manage their workload including prioritising tasks and communicating with colleagues where delegation or allocation is required.
• Ability to create and communicate performance reports in a variety of formats.
• Ability to input data onto Customer Relationship Management Systems accurately and within agreed deadlines.

The ideal Senior Team Nurse candidate will have a strong background in hospice and palliative care, with at least 3 years of specialist clinical experience and 2 years in end-of-life care leadership. They should demonstrate expertise in nurse-led care delivery,

patient assessment, and escalation. Experience in ward management and involvement in service improvement projects is also essential, highlighting both leadership and innovation in clinical settings.

• Provide high quality information which reflects the most up to date research, clinical information and treatments, in a way people can understand. Conducting the research yourself and adapting your communication to suit the person you are supporting is key

• Offer coaching guidance to empower individuals, helping them to achieve the appropriate next steps

• Plan and facilitate online and in person events for families, teenagers and young adults

• Lead on aspects of cross team projects and develop new resources that meet our community’s needs, while collaborating with other teams and external partners

• Provide support to our Young Ambassadors through coordinating activities and check ins, facilitating meetings, and enabling meaningful input into our Young Adults Service.

• Identify gaps in knowledge across the Support Team and identify possible training areas

• Developing information for our website and other age-appropriate resources, for example, writing initial drafts and reviewing information

• Day to day management of our online peer support platforms, for example our Facebook group for parents of children with a brain tumour diagnosis

• Work in conjunction with the Volunteer Development Manager to recruit, train and manage volunteers who assist in delivering support services

• Update and maintain accurate contact information on the CRM database, producing data reports as required to evidence the impact and reach of our support services

• Identify, manage and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with The Charity guidelines

Early Learning and Childcare Advisor

We are looking for an Early Learning and Childcare Advisor to join the team based in Scotland, in this remote working role.

Position: Early Learning and Childcare Advisor

Location: Remote/Scotland

Hours: Part-time, 18.5 hours per week

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 pro rata

Contract: Temporary contract until 31st March 2026

The Role

The Early Learning and Childcare Advisor supports the organisations contribution to policy development and guidance on the delivery of early learning and childcare. Ensuring an effective voice of the sector in Scotland is critical to success, as will strengthening support for and developing our membership base. The Early Learning and Childcare Advisor supports delivery of the Scottish Government contract ensuring achievement of targets.

The role also involves the development of training, publications and other products and services for Scotland members.

The Early Learning and Childcare Advisor will be supported by the National Operations Manager (Scotland) and the NDNA central team. 

Main duties include:

• Support the National Operations Manager (Scotland) to ensure Scottish Government contract is delivered to meet all agreed criteria 
• Support policy development and guidance on the delivery of early learning and childcare in Scotland, ensuring nurseries have access to appropriate information, support, guidance, and training to contribute to improved quality of delivery of early learning and childcare
• Track and report on sales and trends to inform the development of products and services
• Support the National Operations Manager (Scotland) in the completion of sector consultations
• Gather intelligence and research from nurseries and public and third sector partners/stakeholders to inform on national policy and representation work and Scottish Government national policy as related to private nurseries
• Ensure effective dissemination of information to members, colleagues, other agencies
• Develop and maintain effective partnerships and relationships with partners and other agencies at regional and national level to enhance and promote activities and ensure maximum benefit for long-term sustainability and our members
• Promote the benefits of membership and access to its products, services and support

About You

We are looking for someone with a degree level qualification or equivalent experience in childcare and also:

• First hand experience of working in an Early Learning and Childcare role
• Experience of managing a demand-led workload
• Business and strategic planning
• Strong customer service or related experience.

Job Description

The Specialist Women & Girls Case Worker role will undertake 1-2-1 work with young people under 25yrs old supported by Catch22’s County Lines Support and Rescue Service funded by the Home Office in one of the 5 delivery areas. This role focuses on supporting young women and girls exploited by county line activity.

Qualifications

Experience of working with children, young people (18-25) and their families, identified as vulnerable or having complex needs, preferably in a community setting.
Experience of delivering impactful one to one interventions 
Experience of inter-agency working, preferably with Children's and Family Services/Youth Justice Services/Youth Services.
Knowledge of issues around risk and vulnerability amongst young people.
Good ICT skills, with experience of using data recording and data collation systems.

Salary: £27,000 - £29000 per annum
Hours of work: Full time, 37 hours per week

*Rescue Service requires designated staff to be on-call until 10pm (on a rota system).
*This role requires access to a car, and a full manual driving licence.
