Job description

Join one of the South West's most ambitious and community-focused theatres.

The Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury is seeking a Development Manager to help grow philanthropic income, corporate partnerships and supporter engagement as we build an exciting future for our charity.

Working closely with the CEO, Marketing Manager, trustees and external fundraising consultants, you'll play a leading role in developing individual giving, patron schemes, sponsorship, trusts and foundations fundraising, and donor stewardship. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a growing fundraising programme and help secure the long-term sustainability of a thriving arts organisation with deep community roots and bold ambitions.

We're looking for someone with strong relationship-building skills and experience in fundraising, business development, sponsorship, sales, account management or partnership development. You may come from the arts, charity or commercial sectors; what matters most is your ability to build lasting relationships and turn opportunities into income.

We offer flexible and hybrid working, job share applications, professional development opportunities, and the chance to make a tangible impact on the future of a much-loved regional theatre.

Salary: £27,000-£30,000 FTE
Hours: 0.8-1.0 FTE (4-5 days per week)
Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, with flexible and hybrid working available
Start date: ASAP / End of September

The Roses Theatre is a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive and equitable workplace. We actively welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.
