Job description

We have some new exciting opportunities for careers in mental health.

Title: Peripatetic Crisis Recovery Worker
Location: 1 post in Cambridge & 1 post in Peterborough
Hours: 20 hours per week, 6pm-11pm evenings and weekends
Salary: NJC Salary Scale Point 19 - £24,800 per annum (FTE)

Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire (CPSL) Mind is a progressive and expanding mental health charity. Our vision is a society in which everyone has positive mental health and feels part of a connected community.

We are seeking candidates who have proven experience of supporting individuals through a mental health crisis. Using a strengths based approach, support is provided on a one to one basis, either face to face or via the telephone, ensuring a person-centred approach is maintained at all times.

You will be required to work 6pm to 11pm, during the week or at weekends on a shift basis, with occasional travel across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

The successful post holder will have a non-judgement approach, be flexible to service needs as well as the individuals accessing it, and be able to manage clear boundaries.  You will also have a proven background in crisis recovery work.  These roles form part of the award winning work implemented by the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Crisis Care Concordat and the Urgent & Emergency Care Vanguard Project.
