Job description

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week (5 days/week)
Contract: Permanent
Reporting to: Access & Engagement Manager
Salary: SCP 23 £27,509

The Dual Diagnosis Recovery Worker will provide specialist dual diagnosis interventions – using specialist assessment, group delivery of psycho-social interventions, and robust case management - to a caseload of service users with co-existing mental health and substance misuse issues.

Working in partnership, with external partners, including key mental health partners, inpatient wards, and internal clinical colleagues in the City & Hackney Recovery Service, the post holder will work holistically to provide support and regular, recovery-focused interventions.

They will model and promote the recovery service’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and will engage the local communities through effective communication, transparency, and collaboration to promote recovery in all aspects of the service.
