Age UK Wandsworth is an independent local charity. We've been working in the local community to help older people for over 60 years. We have dedicated staff and over 300 volunteers helping us to deliver services and activities for older people in Wandsworth.

An opportunity has arisen to join our growing Community Engagement Team assisting older people and/or vulnerable adults to improve or maintain their overall wellbeing and stay independent for longer whilst enabling them to retain, gain or regain independence.

The Community Engagement Project Assistant role will include delivering groups and activities, hosting events and working with clients in their homes, within our day centre, and in community settings such as libraries, job centres, sheltered accommodation and other voluntary sector organisation hubs.

The service aspires to support, but is not limited to, older Wandsworth residents in the following groups: BAME; dementia; digitally isolated; financially isolated; LGBTQ; socially isolated; women; and those with, or at risk of, mental and/or physical ill health and disabilities.

About the Suzy Lamplugh Trust

Suzy Lamplugh Trust is the UK’s pioneering personal safety charity and leading stalking authority. We were established in 1986 following the disappearance of 25-year-old Suzy Lamplugh, an estate agent and lone worker who went to meet a client and never returned. The Trust exists so that what happened to Suzy does not happen to anyone else. For the past 37 years, we have worked towards reducing the risk of harassment, stalking, aggression, and violence. Our Stalking Helpline offers support and advice to thousands of victims of stalking every year, while our bespoke advocacy teams work closely with partners across the Violence Against Women and Girls’ (VAWG) sector, the criminal justice system, and both statutory and non-statutory services to ensure our clients can live a live free from abuse and fear.

You will be working alongside a team of advocates who are dedicated to supporting and empowering victims and survivors of stalking. By working with a caseload of 20- 25 clients, you will have the opportunity to provide holistic and bespoke advocacy to your clients, whilst leveraging your knowledge of gender-based abuse to support the Trust’s specialist mission.

Purpose of Role:

· To provide expert advice and advocacy to victims of stalking.

· To provide guidance and support by telephone, email and face-to-face to those affected by stalking.

· To provide casework support and advocacy to victims of stalking, liaising with both voluntary and statutory services to ensure positive outcomes for victims. 

· To support the operational Team Leaders where required.

About the role

The role seeks to maximise Christian Aid's income by building relationships with trusts within the small trust mailing programme. The post holder will be directly responsible for securing approximately £400,000 in unrestricted, emergency and co-founding income though a small trusts and supporting with activity across the mid-value team (in which the role sits) including wider mid-value campaigns and stewardship activity.

Policy Manager - Terrestrial

In this part time, home-based role, you’ll have the opportunity to support and mentor parent carers, helping them develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence to make decisions that are best for their families. You’ll also help create and deliver well-being workshops for parent carers to empower, inform, and reduce their stress and help increase their confidence so they are able to access the benefits they are entitled to.  And you’ll work in partnership with money advice organisations across Wales, to set up referrals for parent carers to make sure they get all the financial support they need.

Sobell House is a hospice based in Oxford. It is jointly funded by the NHS and Sobell House Hospice Charity. The hospice offers specialist palliative care to those facing life threatening illness, death and bereavement in Oxfordshire. 

It is our mission to enrich the lives of our patients and those who love and care for them. We aim to make sure that excellent palliative and end of life care is available to everybody in our community who needs it.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Charity Fundraising Team in a newly formed role. We are looking for an individual with a passion for making a difference and who thrives on building long-term, multi-faceted relationships.

You will be responsible for the delivery and growth of our philanthropy and corporate fundraising programmes, building significant donor relationships including creating, developing and implementing a portfolio of donor cultivation, stewardship and touchpoints.

Your role will highlight the vital work Sobell House does, and raise vital income for Sobell House.

Overall Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Work proactively to deliver and maximise philanthropic and corporate relationships and delivery of income targets
• Secure long-term, sustainable income from High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) and Corporate Partners to meet fundraising targets
• Work with the Director of Fundraising and Fundraising Management Team to build and grow a donor pipeline by identifying potential prospects and connecting networks
• Diversify the Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy income streams by developing a suite of opportunities for income generation including; multi-year donations, sponsorship, Gifts in Kind, Charity of the Year, Sobell Business Club and payroll giving as well as stocks and shares
• Build, manage and maintain a portfolio of HNWI and Corporate events
• Steward relationships to ensure donor satisfaction and long-term financial commitment, including detailed and timely reporting
• Manage effective and collaborative relationships with colleagues across Sobell House to support prospect cultivation and donor stewardship
• Review and develop strategic plans with the Director of Fundraising and Relationship Fundraising Manager to ensure growth and sustainability
• Manage and maintain donor records and plans on our CRM, Donorfy.
• Develop and maintain stewardship plans to ensure successful development of prospects

Salary: £32,853

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Holiday Entitlement: 36 including 8 Bank Holidays

Pension: 7% employer pension contribution

Sick Pay: 6 weeks in any rolling 12 months after probation completed

Young Citizens is an education charity on a mission to empower young people to actively engage in society. This is a dynamic new role which will play a key part in our strategy for income growth and diversification, with a particular focus on Trusts and Foundations and individuals.

Role snapshot:

• Support the Senior Income Generation Manager with the implementation and success the income generation strategy
• Work with our Education Team to develop funding propositions
• Provide a high standard of stewardship to all our audiences
• Managing and maintaining relationships with our existing grant funders, to maximise relationships and long-term income growth
• Identifying prospects among trusts and foundations, researching and writing tailored bids to support our education activities and core funding needs
• Develop supporter journeys for our small group of individual donors
• Work with other team members including our Comms Manager to identify potential new audiences and to target communications to build our supporter base

Who are we looking for?

We believe the ideal candidate is an experienced Fundraising Officer with strong relationship management skills, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with our team and external stakeholders.

You will have experience of fundraising across varied audience groups, strong bid-writing skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You will have a proactive and strategic way of working and an affinity with our mission and values. You will be detail orientated and organised yet able to focus also on the bigger picture with a commitment to receiving high quality results.
