Age UK East London are recruiting a Community Engagement Officer to join our growing Community Outreach team. Job Purpose 

• To provide a high-quality outreach support service that enables older adults with low level support needs to live independently within the community. 

• To a promote network services across the Boroughs to maximise their take-up. 

• To work closely with statutory and voluntary sector agencies to ensure appropriate services are accessed. 

• To ensure that service users have maximum choice and control over the planning and management of the service they receive, including initiating individual support plans and connecting them with culturally appropriate services. 

Key Tasks 

• To signpost people to appropriate services as required through outreach sessions in the Hub, Satellite centres, GP practices and pharmacies. 

• To develop shared working practices across the service network.

• To work with existing activity groups at the hub and satellite centres and support the setting up of activities where appropriate.

How you will make a difference

Your role will enable smooth and efficient financial and administrative workflows at GFI Europe. Reporting to the Head of Operations, your work will fall under the following categories:

50% of time – Payment processing and bookkeeping

• Making payments correctly and on time with respect to invoices, direct debit setup, expense reimbursements, as well as salaries and payroll taxes.
• Day-to-day bookkeeping, including registering journal entries and all financial transactions in our accounting software (currently Quickbooks), and supporting monthly reconciliations. 
• Coordinating the calculation and payment of quarterly reverse-charged cross-border VAT payments.
• Where there are opportunities for improvement, working in partnership with colleagues from the Operations team to implement systems that facilitate easier and more efficient payment processes.

25% of time – Budget forecast and reporting

• Forecasting regular and recurring expenses for the annual budgeting process and for periodic budget reviews.
• Preparing monthly updates on budget spending per department / project.
• Collaborating with our Development team to track and report against restricted donations.
• Organising information needed for the Belgium annual financial audit process as well as for UK financial reporting. 

25% of time – General administration

• Supporting governance, compliance and reporting for our Belgium entity, as well as the UK branch of GFI Europe and potentially other entities in the future.
• Supporting other departments with contract administration by inputting partnership data in templates, filling in relevant forms, coordinating signatures, organising and keeping track of finalised agreements.
• Performing other tasks as required as a member of our small, dynamic team.

You must have:

• Terms of employment: Part-time (27-30 hours / week). Flexible working hours.

The Operations Analyst will support the Longview Philanthropy executive, grantmaking, operations, and events teams. The London Domestic Abuse Advise Service provides support to address the risk of customers who are already involved with Look Ahead services. Customers are referred from all four specialisms of the organisation; Young People; Homelessness; Mental Health; and Learning Disabilities.

The role of an IDVA is to address the safety of victims and survivors of domestic abuse using DASH RIC and Individual Safety and Support Plans and represent the needs and values of each victim/survivor to external services. We take a trauma-informed and person-centred approach.

The post holder will be required to work alongside Look Ahead key workers and staff to support customers with complex needs are being supported by Look Ahead.

About The Role

As Corporate Partnerships Manager you will be taking the lead on managing a strategic, multi-faceted three-year partnership with a leading business in the financial sector.
You will need to have experience in generating income and engagement from a range of different activity including employee fundraising, sponsorship, commercial projects, volunteering and events. You will manage relationships with stakeholders across all levels and be comfortable influencing at a senior level.

You will be project management lead on a number of employee fundraising and volunteering activities, and you will be working with the wider team to ensure that the partnership is impactful.

About You

To be successful in this role you must have

* Experience of managing £500k+ partnerships (ideally in a charity setting)
* Experience of managing strategic partnerships alongside each other
* Experience of stakeholder management
* Have had Project Management experience
* Have had experience of reporting and using a CSR system

The Charity is innovative and forward thinking and are really invested in career development. This is a Hybrid role with a minimum of 1 day a week in the head office in London plus some travel to the partners head office which is within an hour of London. Who we are looking for:

We are pleased to be able to offer an enthusiastic and experienced professional the opportunity to join our Evidence and Research Department. You will support the Head of Department in organisation wide strategic planning to ensure NAS outputs are evaluated using robust research methods that measure the impact of what we do.

You will manage researchers and be accountable for ensuring a consistent and quality assured approach to NAS evaluation research projects. We need someone who can ensure best practice research and evaluation methods are used in data collection, analysis and dissemination to co-produce impact reporting.  It will be essential that you support other NAS teams to use research and evaluation to measure the impact of their work and influence the future development of outputs and products.

Your focus will be to help to improve the quality of National Programmes and own services, and set standards for others by evaluating training, consultancy and accreditation products. You will directly manage a portfolio of evaluation research projects and coordinate the commissioning of individual projects to external evaluation partners, maintaining a schedule of work for next 3-5 years. 

This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.

As Refuge Practitioner, you will support the delivery of the Refuge/safe accommodation and move on of victims/survivors of Domestic abuse.

You will work in partnership and collaborate across the London Borough of Harrow. You will support victims/Survivors, ensuring high quality and safe practice.

You will have experience and a demonstrable track record within the field of domestic abuse, supported accommodation and/or health and social care.

You will have a wide-ranging understanding of all forms of domestic abuse. You will be able to demonstrate passion for collaboration, partnership, strategic and service development.

The post holder will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check against relevant barred lists.
