Partnership Coordinators are the face of the Community Connections Lewisham team. They provide valuable support to both clients and professionals by running the phoneline, giving guidance and advice on a wide range of topics by referring or signposting to relevant services that are available in the community. They play a crucial role in the triaging, coordination and effective administration of the entire Community Connections project and acting as a front door service to the rest of the voluntary sector.

Brief role description:
The HR Manager will provide end-to-end, operational and strategic human resources support for the charity's international workforce (excluding APAC). Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership and line managers, the role will ensure that people practices are compliant, values-driven, and aligned with our strategy. 2. Employee Lifecycle Management
Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through probation, development, performance management, and exit.
Oversee accurate and compliant employee records and HR systems.
Lead on performance management process, supporting a culture of accountability, development, and feedback and development and utilisation of supporting tools.
Manage leavers, including resignations, retirements, and departures where applicable.
3. Employment Relations
Act as the lead point of contact for employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability, and performance issues.

5. HR Policies, Compliance & Governance
Develop and Implement the annual “People Plan” in line with Sport England Guidance
Develop, implement, and regularly review HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and alignment with organisational values.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and charity governance standards.
Maintain an external network to stay up to date and abreast of new developments in the sphere of HR.
Support organisational change initiatives, ensuring appropriate consultation and communication.

Manage the organisation’s total rewards framework, including pay structures, benefits, pensions, and non-financial rewards.

Manage L&D budgets and relationships with external training providers where applicable.

About the role
Demand for support for people experiencing homelessness is changing and we have a vacancy in our Engagement and Assessment service.
This service provides first line support to people experiencing homelessness, assessing their needs, identifying support, and collaborating with other staff and services to address their homelessness.
We need someone to join this team as a receptionist to increase our capacity to respond to new and existing members of Crisis.
As the first point of contact, our Engagement and Assessment service greets individuals who are experiencing homelessness or facing a risk of homelessness. You will be working in a fast paced and often challenging environment, explaining and guiding people through the Crisis service offer, and signposting to other local support services. You will need to create a welcoming and equitable environment, to ensure that people seeking support feel understood and respected.
No two days are the same, and you will be greeting people, helping signpost to appropriate services and responding to telephone and email enquires in a positive and supportive way. This is a key role as you will be part of a members journey out of homelessness, right from their first presentation.
About you
As a receptionist you have a real opportunity to demonstrate your compassion and empathy for people experiencing homelessness as our first point of contact at Crisis.
Sometimes visitors are distressed by their situation, and this role would suit someone who is both resilient and compassionate.
You will need to have strong communication skills, be able to listen and respond even when people are demonstrating their distress through their language and behaviour. This is where you will demonstrate confidence in your ability to assertively challenge inappropriate behaviour and de-escalate conflict.
You will develop professional relationships with our members who regularly attend and become part of their progression out of the most difficult of personal circumstances. Our current team tell us how rewarding and motivating this can be.
You will need to be able to help manage the reception area, spot potential concerns and safety issues and respond to these to ensure that reception is a safe space for new and existing members, and other colleagues.
You will have experience of working with vulnerable people, balancing this together with an excellent level of customer service, IT skills and an ability to accurately record sensitive information.
You will be interested in evolving your skills and playing an active role as we continue to develop our Engagement and Assessment service further.

Salary: £55,000- £60,000 full time equivalent. This role sits within Band C on Global Canopy’s remuneration framework.
Nature of contract: Full time or 0.8 FTE. Permanent. This is a hybrid role working from home and our office in Oxford. There is a requirement to attend the office once a week and for other meetings/work as required.

Oasis Youth Support at North Middlesex Hospital is seeking a dedicated Outreach Worker: Violence Against Women and Girls Specialist to accompany young women who attend North Middlesex Hospital A&E department due to a violent or aggressive incident, on their journey to make positive choices with the aim of breaking the cycle of violence through 1:1 mentoring.
You will be part of a large team based at the hospital and supported by the Youth Support Project Coordinator, as well as the wider Community Hub Team based in Ponders End, Enfield.
The key responsibilities within the role are:
· Support young people and develop a bespoke mentoring programme that meets their needs
· Develop and evaluate a model of care that enables young people to benefit from community based interventions
· Planning and delivering sessions focusing around specific areas of violence against women and girls for young people and professionals

We’re looking for a Sanctuary & Racial Justice Officer to build inclusive communities by helping parishes across Kent become more welcoming, accessible and culturally aware for refugees, asylum seekers and newcomers.
Reporting to the Strategic Lead for Sanctuary & Racial Justice, you’ll coordinate existing Welcome Hubs in Canterbury and help launch new hubs in Folkestone, Ashford and Dover. Working with churches, volunteers, councils and community partners, you’ll strengthen local sanctuary, deliver racial justice training and develop practical tools that embed justice into everyday ministry.
This is an exciting, hands-on, people-centric role with so much variety — part community development, part volunteer leadership, as well as a mixture of training and partnership working.
We’re looking for someone with experience of supporting vulnerable people and working with volunteers, a good understanding of racial justice in practice and strong organisational and communication skills. As Director of External Affairs across the Bild Group of four small charities (with collective turnover of approx. £3m/yr), you will have a deep commitment to human rights and improving people’s lives.
