Bridges Outcomes Partnerships (BOP) is a not-for-profit social enterprise that works alongside Government, community groups and specialist Delivery partners to design and deliver vital services that support people to improve their lives, in areas ranging from housing and employment to education and health & wellbeing.
The role of BOP spans project development (working with Government and others to design and launch the service), project management (coordinating the delivery phase, managing performance, and liaising with the various stakeholders) and project finance (funding the project until it starts to earn outcomes payments). Our own funding comes from a group of pioneering social investors, including The Office for Civil Society, Big Society Capital, Pilotlight, Trust for London, who, like us, are motivated by improving lives and changing the system for the better.
About the role
In 2018 Bridges Outcomes Partnerships co-designed the Single Homelessness Prevention service with Brent Council following the Homelessness Reduction Act (2018). The service provides early intervention to prevent or relieve homelessness for single people who previously would not have received support, aiming to prevent the mental trauma associated with homelessness and stop individuals reaching crisis point.
Our services continue to evolve into models that combine homelessness prevention, refugee support, and family stability interventions to improve life chances for vulnerable people and reduce the long-term impacts of housing instability and child poverty.
The Referral & Assessment Officer is a key role within the London Partnership, it is the first point of contact for people who have experienced trauma or are struggling to find a home.
As part of the role, you will be responsible for the following activities within this element of the service
Receive and process referrals from Brent Council, acting as the central point of access for the service.
Review each referral against the service eligibility criteria, completing an initial triage assessment to determine the most appropriate support pathway.
Contact clients where required to gather any outstanding information or supporting documentation needed to progress their referral.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Brent Council, delivery partners and other stakeholders to support effective referral pathways and timely allocation of referrals.
Liaise regularly with Brent Council and delivery partners to resolve referral queries, gather outstanding information and ensure referrals progress efficiently
Identify, record and escalate any immediate safeguarding concerns through the appropriate safeguarding procedures.
Record client support needs, risks and relevant information on the case management system to ensure delivery partners have the information required to provide safe and effective support.
Maintain timely, accurate and comprehensive records on the case management system in line with service standards
Work closely with the Programme Manager to monitor referral activity, identify issues or opportunities, and recommend improvements where appropriate.
Ensure the service is accessible and inclusive, recognising individual communication, language, cultural and accessibility needs.
Produce regular reports on referral activity, triage performance and emerging trends for the Programme Manager and commissioners.
This is a hybrid role. The postholder will be expected to work across a combination of home working, Bridges offices and partner locations. This will include regular attendance at Turning Point in Brent to work alongside Brent Council and partner organisations, supporting the effective management of referrals and the development of local referral pathways.

About the role
This role will lead our agenda around the role of welfare to support the working age population to maintain good health and support people with long term health conditions or disability when they are unable to work or participate. The Commission for Healthier Working Lives identified a number of issues with welfare support which effectively disincentivise people from accessing and staying in work and the purpose of this role is to make the case for change and point to potential solutions.
The post holder will have a strong understanding of the current welfare agenda, and particularly what this means for people with long term health conditions and disability. The Church Commissioners, on behalf of the Bishop of Sheffield, is seeking a Chaplain to to support and enable his ministry across the Diocese of Sheffield.

The Bishop's Chaplain plays a central part in supporting the Bishop's apostolic ministry helping him to lead in mission, preside over the sacramental life of the diocese, and offer pastoral care to clergy and lay leaders. You will work closely with the Bishop, the Bishop of Doncaster, the Dean, Archdeacons, and the Bishop's Senior Staff Team, sharing in the oversight and flourishing of the diocese.
Based at Bishopscroft, Snaithing Lane, Sheffield, you will be part of a small, warm and collaborative team alongside the Senior PA and Administrative Assistant. The role is varied, fast-paced and relational, requiring wisdom, discretion, theological depth and a joyful commitment to the life of the Church. The role involves regular contact with clergy, lay leaders, diocesan staff and civic partners, and includes Sunday parish ministry as required.
The post-holder will be a priest of the Church of England, or of a church in full communion with it. (S)he will conduct worship on behalf of the Bishop and preside at all sacraments appropriate to the Church of England. This post has attached to it an occupational requirement under the 2010 Equality Act, Part 1, Schedule 9. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS with Adult and Child Barred Lists check (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.
Working Hours - The expectation is of a similar time commitment as a parish priest. As a general rule, the Chaplain will be expected to share in morning worship outside office hours, and to keep office hours of 9.00 am to 5.00 pm with a break for lunch. There is an expectation of some work, and ministry being exercised, outside office hours. There will be some evening commitments. The rest day is generally a Friday or Saturday. On Sundays, the Chaplain will usually be expected to be available to take services and preach where needed.

The Lead Youth Worker plays a key role in shaping, coordinating and delivering high-quality youth provision within the Future Foundations programme at KLS. Reporting to the Head of Future Foundations, this role combines hands-on youth work with leadership, coordination and safeguarding responsibility, ensuring that children and young people are supported through safe, inclusive and engaging activities that promote their personal, social and educational development.
You will lead on the planning, delivery and evaluation of homework clubs, youth activities, trips and holiday programmes, while line-managing and supporting two Youth Workers and supervising interns and volunteers. You will work closely with families, schools, community partners and colleagues across KLS to provide joined-up, responsive support for young people. This is a people-centred leadership role requiring strong safeguarding practice, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships. You will champion youth voice, promote positive behaviour and inclusion, and contribute to continuous improvement through reflection, data and learning.

Key Responsibilities
Youth Club & Holiday Programme
Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of the youth club for newly arrived young people, within Future Foundations, ensuring sessions are safe, inclusive, engaging and developmentally appropriate.
Develop session plans and programmes that support young people’s learning, wellbeing and confidence, using participatory and youth-led approaches.
Lead the delivery of the weekly youth club, including wellbeing activities, workshops and targeted interventions for newly arrived young people.
Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of school holiday provision, including half-term, Easter and summer programmes, ensuring appropriate staffing, safeguarding and risk management arrangements are in place.
Work closely with the youth caseworker to encourage engagement and participation of young people at Southfields Academy International Department with the youth club.

Essential Experience
Experience of working with refugee communities and/or children and young people and/or other vulnerable groups, with a strong focus on placing participants’ needs at the centre of service planning and delivery.
Experience of planning, delivering and contributing to reporting for projects within the voluntary or community sector (preferably with refugee or sanctuary-seeking communities).
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high professional standards.
Experience of working sensitively with young people affected by mental health challenges and past trauma, with an empathetic, non-judgemental approach and the ability to build supportive but appropriately boundaried relationships.
Up-to-date knowledge of best practice in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and the ability to apply this in practice.
