We are looking for someone who has expertise in developing influential media campaigns and shares our compassion and commitment to deliver positive outcomes for nature. You will have strong influencing and networking skills, always searching for new and inventive ways to shout about Plantlife and grow our audience. You will be detail orientated and adept at managing multiple projects at once.
What will you be doing?
This is a key role within our dedicated communications team and will focus on leveraging and shaping Plantlife’s activity and presence in the media, alongside a job share colleague. You will support the Head of Communications and Engagement with the leadership, planning and delivery of Plantlife’s media strategy to raise awareness, engage stakeholders and drive support for our cause.
This role will support our campaigning activity in the UK and internationally and will be one of Plantlife key external voices, playing a pivotal role in shaping our key messages. Working across the organisation and with colleagues leading our conservation, advocacy, and partnerships work you will keep abreast of key organisational activities and create opportunities for media and campaigning.
We are offering the role as hybrid or home based. We have offices in Salisbury or Retford. There will be an expectation of some travel to attend monthly team meetings

IAG Delivery and line management
· To be accountable for achieving agreed outcomes, outputs and personal targets – including recruitment, employability training and learner progression targets
· To manage a caseload of participants requiring Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG), confidence building and employability training

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Service Manager to support women and children who are impacted by domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes. In this role you will provide line management and support to staff who work with and help women and their children who have experienced domestic abuse and are staying in our Lambeth refuges. Our Lambeth refuges are culturally specific services for women and children of African and Caribbean heritage. As the new Major Donor Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and deliver a new major donor programme, working closely with the Global Mission team to develop cases for support and impact reporting, as well as work in close collaboration with other teams to maintain innovative thinking. You will be developing plans that will feed directly into the USGPG Fundraising strategy with a focus on increasing engagement from High-Net-Worth-Individuals.
To be the Major Donor Manager they need, you will have:
- Experience of managing and developing a major donor portfolio/pipeline
- Experience of designing and delivering high impact stewardship programmes
- Experience of designing or supporting the delivery of high value events

You will be joining Barts Charity at an exciting time, during their most ambitious fundraising period to date which is raising funds for two important health projects - a Clinical Research Facility in Whitechapel and a Breast Cancer Centre in the City of London at St Bartholomew's Hospital.
What the Senior Major Gifts Manager will do:
* This role will be mostly focused on identifying and generating new donors for their capital campaigns and other important projects.
* Solicit new business and harness important referrals that come from their stakeholders, by defining the most effective and strategic approaches and converting them into relationships that are beneficial and rewarding for all involved.
* This role is a mix of building up a pipeline of major donors and trusts and foundations.
Ideally the Senior Major Gifts Manager will have experience of:
* Soliciting 6+ figure gifts from either Trusts and Foundations or major donors.
* Proven ability to identify new funders.
* A team player and someone who is passionate about the work that Barts Charity does.
* Ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders.

The Royal Hospital Chelsea has secured a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to restore and adapt our Grade II* Stable Block, designed by Sir John Soane, into a state-of-the-art Visitor Centre with an expected annual footfall of 36,000 visitors.
We are seeking a Retail Manager to oversee the day to day operation of the new Soane Stable Yard shop, Post Office counter, and online shop. This pivotal role involves ensuring exceptional customer service, driving sales, and leading a fantastic team.
The Retail Manager will train and manage a dedicated team of staff, Chelsea Pensioners and volunteers . In addition to driving high levels of customer service, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering against sales target, inventory management, visual merchandising, product sourcing and development and management of the online shop.
This full-time position requires some flexibility with weekend and evening shifts to accommodate the shop's opening hours. The post-holder will work closely with the new Audience Engagement team and Retail Consultants.
