About us:
At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice we care for children and young people whose lives are just too short. Our aim is to reach every family that needs our help and to offer them the very best choice of care. Did you know that every year we need to raise £5m to keep our doors open and only around 20 percent of our income comes from government sources? The rest has to be raised through fundraising activity.
Our services include short overnight stays and community breaks at home or in the hospice. We also support the whole family from diagnosis with our multi-disciplinary Family Support team who provide counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy and much more. Our care team supports these families in our modern, purpose built building. All our rooms/bedrooms have a homely feel. We have a sensory room, spa pool, cinema room and six acres of gardens.
We support families from a large geographical area, including South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire and parts of North Lincolnshire. The hospice is easily accessible from Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield and North Notts. We have free secure on-site parking for families and staff to use.
The role
In your role as Regional Fundraising Manager, you will lead and develop a team of seven to raise invaluable funds and brand awareness of the hospice. Working with the Income Generation and Communications Director you will work towards a devised strategy for fundraising across key income streams including Events, Corporate and Community. You will plan an annual fundraising calendar of activity and campaigns and work to agreed KPIs and objectives to build a resilient and robust income plan, managing and supporting your team to achieve these objectives. Taking the lead for corporate engagement you will both develop new relationships and nurture existing supporters.
As part of your role as a manager you will be a strong advocate in teaching and demonstrating Bluebell Wood’s culture to your staff and those around you, embedding the vision of the hospice in everyone who works with us. You will play a leading role in the organisation’s strategy implementation, giving real focus to how your team plays a part in this, whilst enthusing your team to be the best version of themselves, empowering people to succeed at their role.
This role is full-time and permanent and comes with a range of excellent benefits including 33 days annual leave. This role is based at the hospice in Sheffield and the charity will offer a blend of office/home/remote working.
The requirements
To be considered for this role you will ideally come to us with broad fundraising experience across all areas of Fundraising particularly Corporate, Community and Events. You should be a confident, experienced line manager with experience operating at a senior strategic level. As an individual you will bring resilience, agility, empathy, drive, creativity and most importantly stability. We hope to see strong knowledge of fundraising codes of practice, fundraising trends and sector legalities. Summary of the role and key purpose

Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyse digital communication metrics and use insights to refine strategies, enhance engagement and measure the impact of online initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement

Crisis Management

Person Specification:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in digital communications, social media management, content creation, strategy creation and website development.
- Demonstrated experience in project managing website development projects, ensuring successful implementation and seamless user experience.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, analytics tools, and emerging trends in the digital space.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to produce engaging content tailored for various online platforms and diverse audiences.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

This role is home-based with travel requirements across the Thames Valley region, and will include occasional evening and weekend hours. A driving license is essential.
What are we looking for?
A passionate and driven individual with a strong background in Community Fundraising or Relationship Management with evidence of working with volunteers.
Experience of devising, implementing, and monitoring systems and procedures, and experience and managing complex projects is essential.
With experience of motivating and coaching individuals, you will also need to excel in building and maintaining relationships, communicating with creativity and precision, and thrive in a target-driven environment.

We’re looking for a Community Engagement Officer to join a talented team to inspire and empower communities to support their historic places of worship. This is a fundamental role within our West regional team, internally the role is known as Local Community Officer.
Churches Conservation Trust works with communities to look after 357 historic churches, over two million visitors annually and hundreds of events both private and public. These ancient, listed sites are among the most beautiful locations in England.
You’ll be visiting sites in your patch regularly, encouraging new supporters, holding local meetings, and raising funds to meet each building’s unique needs. Sharing progress through a growing church plan for each of the 22 churches in your area, you’ll ensure these buildings thrive as beautifully maintained visitor attractions, as venues for events and as central parts of village, town or city life.
You’ll be supported by our team of experts, including fundraising, conservation, and learning and by our large network of church supporters.
