Looking for a fresh challenge where your faith, passion and experience contributes to making a real difference to the lives of people and communities living in the Middle East?
In 2024, Embrace the Middle East celebrates 170 years of close partnership and relationship with local Christians who, through their churches and local civil society organisations, are serving some of the most marginalised and excluded communities in the Middle East. Ours is a vision of faith, hope and love in action: where there is a need for refuge, a home however temporary, for education, for safeguarding, for economic empowerment, for justice and human rights – we, with our partners, want to respond. We do this by building strong and lasting partnerships, nurtured by mutual respect and a shared commitment to excellence.
Walking and working alongside our partners, you will strengthen, develop, and manage relationships with a varied portfolio of local partner organisations, churches, and local stakeholders to deliver high-impact programmes to benefit communities in need of assistance - helping them to realise their God-given potential. Has an understanding and awareness of the context, dynamics, and challenges of working in the Middle East. Alongside the skills and ability to identify compelling messages from partnership communications to gain support, through prayer, donations and support for our advocacy work.
Suitable candidates will be:
- Educated to degree level equivalent.

- Willing to carry out overseas travel to the region 3-4 times a year.
- Have a sympathy with Embrace’s Christian inspired values, vision and ready with compassion and commitment to serve and work to support Embrace’s Christian mission.
- Advanced or intermediate Arabic would be advantageous.
- Because of the essential Christian context of the role, it is subject to an occupational requirement under the Equality Act that the post-holder be a practising Christian.

SUDEP Action is the only UK charity focused on preventing epilepsy-related deaths. We have the only epilepsy bereavement service freely available to anyone suddenly bereaved by epilepsy (including SUDEP). By representing the voices of those who have died and who are bereaved, we aim to learn from deaths, and use research, policy and campaigns to raise awareness and take action that helps save lives.
Working both independently and with the wider team you will deliver a high-quality community fundraising service. Experience of bid/grant writing would be desirable.
Interested? Please send us a CV and cover letter showing us why you want to work at SUDEP Action, why you think you are a great candidate for this role, and why your skills and experiences make you a good fit. The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is the world’s largest leprosy-focused organisation, a pioneer in our field, with over 150 years’ experience serving people affected by this disease. As a leading international Christian development charity, we work in 10 countries across Africa and Asia to defeat leprosy and transform lives.
Today, one person every two minutes is diagnosed with leprosy. It’s a disease of poverty, striking the most vulnerable. Left untreated, it causes permanent disability. Stigma means that people affected by this disease are often rejected by those closest to them.
We are looking for an inspirational communicator to be the face of The Leprosy Mission. You’ll be working from home, with extensive travel across your region. As part of a fun and supportive team, you’ll be changing the lives of people who have been rejected by society. There’s nothing more rewarding than that!
We have a culture of growing and learning together, providing extensive training in fundraising and international development. You’ll also have opportunities to visit projects overseas and see our work first hand.
We’re looking for:
- An engaging public speaker to a range of audiences, including churches, community groups and businesses
- Proven success in fundraising or sales
- A confident networker
- Experience of managing volunteers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work on Sundays and evenings as required, and occasional Saturdays
- The ability to develop and deliver a regional fundraising strategy
TLM is an explicitly Christian charity, serving those of all faiths and none. There is an occupational requirement for the Community Partnerships Manager to be a committed Christian, as you will be preaching in supporting churches.
A valid UK driving license is an essential requirement for the role. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a work health questionnaire.
There is a potential for a job share in this role. If you’re interested in a job share, please confirm your availability to work Sundays and two days in the week in your application.
