Responsibilities

The role

CGL’s Business Development Team is a large national team. This role will sit within a smaller specialist services sub-team, who have responsibility for retaining existing specialist contracts and winning new business opportunities.

You will work with a small group of bid writers to oversee all aspects of the tender process. You will also have responsibility for pipeline management and work closely with our services and operational colleagues to navigate processes under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) regulations.

You will work collaboratively with people who use our services, front line staff and managers, clinicians, departmental leads and senior stakeholders including Directors, to develop service delivery models, budgets and partnerships for tenders and proposals.

You will have the opportunity to visit and engage with our staff and service users across the country, to learn about our services and specific local needs and challenges.

As a leader within our national Business Development Management Team, you will lead on improving the quality of our work and developing our team culture, thinking creatively, sharing your own knowledge and experiences, and challenging existing ways of working.

Ultimately you will play a key role in the design, development and delivery of our services and will help us to deliver on our organisational mission, strategy and values.

About you

You’ll be a highly competent project manager, with proven experience of leading and managing complex tenders and other projects in related fields.

You’ll be an excellent writer, with experience of writing tenders, bids and proposals.

You’ll be a confident and highly competent communicator, have excellent IT skills, be highly numerate and be able to analyse and work with complex data and financial information.

The Organisation

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity and we manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. The Role

As our Biodiversity Manager, you will lead the delivery of our Biodiversity Framework 2023-2030.

Overseeing conservation projects and habitat enhancement across some of London’s most ecologically important green spaces, you’ll drive the integration of biodiversity objectives into park management plans and annual operations.

You’ll lead and support contractors, staff, and volunteers to implement biodiversity initiatives across the parks, from ancient woodlands and acid grasslands to ponds and historic landscapes.

Fundraising & income generation 

· Trusts & grants: Research, write, and submit compelling funding applications to trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies to secure new and repeat funding.

· Corporate & individual giving: Work alongside Service Delivery Manager and Deputy Service Manager to develop relationships with corporate sponsors and individual donors, creating engagement opportunities.

Essential skills & experience

To support the range and depth of partnerships we have and the potential we see, we are looking for a Partnerships Manager to work primarily on building partnerships with Local Authorities and public sector organisations, charities and social enterprises, faith-based and inclusion-focused organisations and other groups who might help us strategically grow and resource the Warm Welcome network across the UK (NB Corporate Partnerships are managed by our newly appointed Fundraising Lead for Corporates). The Partnerships Manager will also help develop our support for Warm Welcome Spaces, including overseeing our Champions Programme which offers more intense support and a Community of Practice to a smaller cohort of local groups.

Building Partnerships

This will involve identifying and engaging partners in geographical ‘cold spots’ for the network (utilising our mapping tool developed with UCL), as well as forming partnerships to unlock new or under-represented types of Warm Welcome Spaces (e.g. Housing Association Community Spaces, cinemas, community spaces created by new housing developments etc).

● Leading the development of our Local Co-ordinators Cluster which brings together Local Authorities and others who are leading place-based networks of community spaces.

● Overseeing and developing the Champions Programme, providing more intensive support and connections to a smaller cohort of Warm Welcome Spaces.

Engagement and Inclusion

● Developing our Inclusion Strategy to identify and engage the best potential partners to diversify our Coalition and support local Spaces to become more accessible and inclusive.

● Working with the team to develop regular engagement activities for Warm Welcome Partners.

● Producing compelling communications (written and verbal) to promote the work of the Warm Welcome Campaign and grow the depth and breadth of partnerships - to include but not limited to partnership proposals, pitches and reports.

● Supporting, maintaining and developing existing partnerships and manage the systems (including CRM use) needed for excellent partnerships delivery, stewardship and development.

Every 20 minutes, someone is killed or seriously injured on UK roads. For families affected, the emotional and practical challenges are immense. As a Caseworker, you will provide direct, trauma-informed care to individuals and families suffering from the sudden bereavement or life-altering injury of a loved one. Working mostly remotely, with home visits to service users, you’ll offer vital emotional and practical support—including helping them access therapeutic resources, financial assistance, and guidance through the complexities of medical and legal processes.

This role is flexible, allowing you to structure your own working pattern within weekdays from 8am to 6pm. While travel is required, you’ll have control over your diary. The work is challenging but immensely rewarding, requiring resilience, empathy, and a dedication to making a real difference in people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities

· Providing direct support to road victims and their families in the Kent, Essex & East region, following Brake’s trauma-             informed model of care.

· Managing a caseload of service users, ensuring their emotional, practical, and advocacy needs are met.

• A practising Christian who is passionate about personally representing the Christian values of Resurgo and committed to Resurgo's mission to inspire and equip organisation to bring about ambitious and sustainable social change.
• Excellent relationship building and application writing skills. Experience in Trust fundraising or an equivalent field is desirable but not essential.
• Some knowledge of statutory fundraising is desirable but not essential.
• Extremely organised and efficient; calm under pressure, able to juggle competing deadlines and priorities, splitting time across multiple projects.
• Excellent people skills, able to relate well to colleagues of all seniority levels, freelancers, and external agencies.
• A desire to grow and develop; able to receive feedback on projects with humility, and confidence to give feedback and share ideas and expertise with team members.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

• Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
• Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
• Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts & Statutory partners.

Write applications and reports

• Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.
• Stay ahead of sector trends, media, and political context to market Resurgo's interventions in a compelling way.
• Develop general communications on the work of Resurgo to inspire and update our Trust audience.
• Produce reports and updates on the impact of our work for funders in a timely manner. 

Data Management and Monitoring

• Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details ina timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.
• Manage the Trusts & Foundations and Statutory pipelines and report on income and other KPIs, and ensure Trusts & Foundations team meets monthly targets and deadlines.

Line Management

• Actively manage and develop the Trusts & Foundations Executive to help them grow personally and in their role.

Thank you for taking an interest in applying for this role at Imperial Health Charity. We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated Philanthropy Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis. In this role, you will be part of a small yet passionate 
and dynamic team raising income from major donors, trusts, corporate supporters and statutory bodies. 

You will be responsible for identifying and securing new gifts at the five-figure-plus level as well as delivering impactful stewardship to your own portfolio of major supporters such as through bespoke reports, hospital site tours and invitations to 
exclusive events. 

As a Philanthropy Manager, you will lead on a variety of fundraising propositions that help our hospitals to achieve more for patients, families and the local North West London community. By collaborating with colleagues from across the charity and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, you will oversee campaigns from the early stages all the way through to delivery and evaluation. 

You will also be responsible for achieving your own targets and objectives, as well as providing ongoing monitoring against agreed milestones and KPIs. You will ensure compliance with fundraising best practice at all times in accordance with the 
Fundraising Regulator.
