Salary: starting at £24,724 FTE per annum to £26,370* FTE per annum

The Services Marketing and Communications Officer is responsible for developing and delivering marketing and communications plans to support specific service KPI’s and objectives.

The successful candidate will be a marketing and communications all-rounder, with a working understanding of brand, marketing, communications, media relations, PR and social media relating to services, and able to work with marcomms colleagues to support services through these channels.

Main Responsibilities:

· Develop and deliver bespoke marketing and communications plans and activities specific to particular Family Action services and targeted at their audiences (public and professional).

· Develop marketing collateral, press releases, guides/toolkits, adverts, articles for professional magazines, e-bulletins/newsletters, web pages, events, etc.

· Ensure all services marketing activity is brand compliant and aligned to Family Action’s corporate priorities, as well as meeting the needs of the specific service.

· Manage the production of marketing collateral using design tools/software and/or Family Action templates. This will include copywriting, proof reading, image selection.

· Liaison with and management of external suppliers, such as designers and printers, when appropriate. Management of the production process on behalf of the service/s you work for and budget management.

Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):

· Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering a range of successful marketing and communications activity across multiple channels and for a variety of stakeholders.

· Experience of working within a corporate visual identity and translating that for multiple uses.

· Experience of materials development, e.g. writing, editing, proofreading, design (including the use of design software).

· Some understanding of website design and delivery, e.g. developing content, navigation, accessibility, SEO.

· Experience of managing external consultants and suppliers, e.g designers, printers.

· Experience of managing projects to be delivered on time and in budget.

· A marketing or design qualification or similar experience, and evidence of a commitment to continuing learning and professional development.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Interest in the charity sector and social impact.

This key role in our fundraising team will be integral in helping the team meet our ambitious targets. Working predominantly on Trusts and Foundations applications, leading the development and submission of high-quality proposals, with opportunities to work across additional income streams. Job Purpose

The purpose of the Programme Coordinator is co-ordinate with all parties (Community Engagement Manager, the Programme Manager, LMK Leaders and the host organisations) to enable LMK to deliver high quality workshops for young people/youth work professionals/workplaces. 

Acting as the lynchpin of the organisation’s delivery team, the Programme Coordinator takes the workshop brief from the LMK Community Engagement Manager and then works with the Programme Manager to secure facilitators (LMK leaders), ensures the host organisation receives all supporting information, and provides LMK Leaders with the resources they need to deliver the workshop effectively. This role is also responsible for regular reporting about workshop bookings and delivery. 

Reporting to our CEO, the successful candidate will be part of LMK’s core staff team. You will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders, members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our long-term strategy. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Provide excellent customer service to organisations who are hosting LMK workshops, ensuring that all communication is timely and accurate, and any questions are responded to in full.

• Liaise with the Programme Manager and LMK Leaders to ensure there is clear understanding around their areas of expertise, availability and any specific considerations that need to be taken into account when delivering workshops.

• Open up opportunities to deliver workshops to any Leader applicable, ensuring the allocation of workshops is done fairly and consistently.

• Ensure LMK leaders have the information and resources required to deliver their workshop.

• Work closely with the Research and Evaluation Manager to ensure that the correct evaluation surveys are made available to workshop participants. 

• Work with our Head of Fundraising to track workshop delivery against funder commitments.

• Keep the CRM system data up to date in a timely way.

• Produce regular reports for the CEO on the booking and delivery of workshops, as well as any ad-hoc reports requested. 

• Share Leader evaluation feedback from workshops with Leaders.

• Check invoices submitted by LMK leaders, and work with the Programme Manager to get them approved. 

• Support the Programme Manager to organise LMK Leader Huddles and training events.

• Comply with our policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, confidentiality, complaints and data protection.

Person specification

• At least 2 years’ experience in an event management/admin management/executive assistant/operations role where there was a strong requirement to work with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an excellent track record of customer service.

• Proven ability to work well within a team.

• Highly organised to manage a diverse workload with excellent time management and ability to pay attention to detail.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in North London for an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic Kinship Youth Worker to lead on a ground-breaking youth project aimed at supporting children and young people in kinship care.

Kinship is the leading kinship care charity in England and Wales. We work with all kinship carers – the grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and family friends who are caring for children when their parents can’t. 

This is an exciting and creative role for an experienced Youth Worker to lead on a groundbreaking project aimed at amplifying the voices of children living in kinship care.

With Funding from BBC Children in Need you will engage young people in North London to develop a group of up to 20 children and young people who meet regularly for workshops, activities and discussions about kinship care. With your support, the group will create a film which will highlight their lived experiences of growing up in kinship care. Working alongside a production company the successful candidate will support the young people to co-create the film and will play an active role in scripting, storyboarding, filming and editing.

Who we are looking for 

We are seeking a Database Support Officer to join our fundraising team.

We care about building lasting relationships with our 21,000 active supporters and our database is critical in helping us to do that. For the right person, this is an opportunity to support our charity in using data to achieve our mission - to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to take responsibility for the delivery of several key functions within the Data Services team. You will be responsible for the importing of data into the database, providing contact data to JDRF teams to support and promote campaigns, direct mail, community engagement, major donor giving and challenge events, whilst providing database support and guidance to users, including providing training.

You’ll have knowledge of a relational database, excellent attention to detail and be skilled and comfortable in building good working relationships with colleagues and external suppliers.

You’ll join a small but friendly and driven team at an exciting time as we implement our new Data strategy to transform how we use data to engage our supporters.
