We’re looking for an experienced Lead React Native Developer to take over from this re-platforming work and carry it forward — refining and extending the app, while also setting the direction for how we build future mobile apps. About the role
This role is a newly created position working within the Youth Access to Immigration Representation and Advice (YAIRA) project providing immigration and asylum support to young people who are in care or are care leavers. The YAIRA Project was set up by Coram CLC and 4 local authorities – Enfield, Islington, Barnet and Camden - to increase access to representation and advice for children in care and leaving care.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in upholding the rights of vulnerable children and young people with experience of the care system who is seeking to progress their legal aid career in the charity sector. The role can be split between working from home/office-based with flexibility as to the balance between the two.
The successful candidate will work alongside a senior caseworker already working on the project and together you will liaise with the local authorities involved in the project to implement an effective referral mechanism for children and young persons in their care and have conduct of and be responsible for a caseload of immigration, asylum and associated human rights law matters concerning children, young people and families referred by the local authorities. You will be expected to provide high quality legal advice, assistance and representation to these clients through legal aid casework.
The candidate will also be involved in providing ad hoc training as required to the local authority partners on areas relating to the immigration needs of children in care and care leavers and as agreed with the local authorities.
When not working on the YAIRA project, the postholder may be asked to provide paralegal casework support to the wider immigration and asylum team.

We are looking for 2 organised and dedicated Project Workers who have a strong empathy with single homeless people, to coordinate our intensive housing management services across our South London boroughs.
You will be joining a small , friendly registered charity and registered provider with a supportive team.
Job purpose
The Project Worker will be responsible for the delivery of a responsive intensive housing management service to clients allocated by the Team Leader.
The central aim of the role is to support homeless clients temporarily living in CLHT placements to become as independent as possible and to facilitate timely move-on into independent living settings.
This will be achieved through regular client-led keywork sessions and in close collaboration with external partners.
The Project Worker will coordinate the day-to-day smooth running of each house they are responsible for.
Duties and responsibilities specific to the role
Intensive Housing Management
- Responsible for a broad range of housing management activities, including signing up new residents, issuing licensing agreements, delivering new client inductions, occupancy management and eviction / abandonment.
- Evictions are a last resort and CLHT works within the Homeless Link guidance on preventing evictions and abandonment.
- Work collaboratively with the Finance team to coordinate rent/ service charge collections
- Carry out regular occupancy checks.
- Maintain accurate and timely records related to housing management activities, within the requirements of GDPR.
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment and encourage clients to take individual responsibility for their living environment and for positive relationships with fellow residents.
- Ensure the accommodation where clients live is clean and maintained to a high standard, in line with CLHT property standards.
- Ensure the accommodation meets all legal and statutory health and fire safety requirements
- Work in close collaboration with the Maintenance team to ensure all repairs and maintenance issues are correctly reported and resolved.
- To promote and encourage client participation in the Intensive Housing Management process and to act as advocate for clients when necessary.
- This includes leading regular house meetings and encouraging clients to become ‘resident representatives’.
- To document each visit to projects, detailing tasks undertaken, any changes that have occurred and other relevant information.
- Manage antisocial behaviour and clients complaints in line with our Anti-Social Behaviour and Complaints procedures.
- Liaise with senior managers to ensure complaints are addressed in a timely manner.
Health and Safety
- Adhere to best practice in meeting the requirements of health and safety legislation in all aspects of the organisation’s work.

We are seeking additional experienced Associate Independent Investigating Officers (IO) for Complaints, to increase our capacity to respond to referrals from Local Authorities to provide an independent element to the formal Stage 2 investigations under the Children Act 1989.
The IO will lead investigations, and will give the complainant (who may be a child, young person or adult) the opportunity to express their view, ensure the child or young person’s rights and best interests are at the centre of the investigation and that the investigation/review process is open and transparent. They write a report on the investigation/review, which is submitted to the referring agency.
The Job Description document sets out the expectations for an Associate Independent Person for Complaints (IPC) who is approved by Coram Voice. IPCs are independent, freelance and responsible for their own work. Nevertheless, IPCs are accountable to the organisation for their professional standards and are expected to comply with Coram Voice Code of Ethics and Practice Guidelines.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and strategic direct marketer to take ownership of the RAF Benevolent Fund’s supporter acquisition programme. The postholder will play a key role in helping us achieve our strategic aim of financial sustainability by growing our active regular donor base to 10.5k supporters and leading on innovative and data-led acquisition campaigns across digital and offline channels.
You will work as part of the Direct Marketing team and be responsible for end-to-end delivery of high-performing integrated campaigns. We are looking for a dynamic and people-focussed Finance Coordinator to take our organisation to the next phase: this is a fantastic opportunity to have a real impact at a fast-growing organisation. We have recently upgraded our finance systems to Xero and updated our processes: we now want to build on this success. The Finance Coordinator will prepare financial reports for the board and ensure compliance with financial regulations. They will work with our bookkeeper to ensure excellent day-to-day financial management. They will collaborate with our Project Leads, supporting them to set and manage budgets, report quarterly to the board, and ensure all project income and expenditure is recorded accurately in Xero. They will also use produce cashflow forecasts and scenarios using the Xero integration with Syft that Selce has implemented. They will also play a role in HR processes reviewing timesheets monthly and ensuring contracts are amended as staff roles evolve. This role is crucial in supporting the financial health and sustainability of our organisation.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
· Review financial data and prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
· Present financial reports with variance analysis and commentary for the board.
· Support with the preparation of annual accounts, working with Selce’s nominated accountants and the Board.
· Respond to any queries from Selce’s nominated accountants or from the Board.
· Maintain accurate cash flow forecasts for all areas of the business.
· Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets.
Financial Record Keeping:
· Work with and manage our book-keeper,

It has been created to support the new fundraising strategy objective to retain over 10k regular donors and to drive deeper engagement with over 30k supporters.
