Role overview:

As a member of MTL’s senior management team, you will take responsibility for the organisation’s growth and outward facing initiatives. You will lead and manage the organisation’s portfolio of social mobility leadership strands, and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders. You will provide dynamic day-to-day leadership for the MTL’s directorate responsible for income generation, impact, research, communications and policy, and ensure the organisation continues to be an exemplar of innovation, integrity and collaboration. You will also be contributing to, implementing and monitoring delivery of the organisation’s strategic plan.

About this role

This role is 20 hours per week, worked part-time over 5 days Monday-Friday. Suggested working times are 10am-2pm however this can be flexible for the right candidate. The part-time salary for this role is £16,250 (£26,000 FTE for organisation 32 hours working week).

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a range of office management and administrative duties to support Causeway’s housing and support functions. You will deal with ad hoc queries and be the first point of contact for external queries, and act as an everyday presence in Causeway’s office to support with office-based team members, visitors, contractors, and cover basic in-house IT support.

About the team

The Philanthropy Team raises income for Impetus and for Impetus partner charities. The team consists of 16 staff. Impetus has an annual income of £10 million, which we are looking to grow to £12–£14 million within the next few years. The team is led by the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships.

The Philanthropy Team works with major donors, corporates and grant-making trusts, as well as collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure we make a compelling case to generate new financial commitments and wider support for our work. The team also delivers a high-quality engagement programme of volunteering and pro bono support for Impetus’s corporate partners.

In addition to our direct grants, we have several themed funds that support specific areas of our work, currently Connect and Engage, with plans to launch Skills and Attainment. An important part of this role is working closely with the Investment team to shape compelling cases for each fund, and with the Philanthropy team to connect them with the most suitable donors.

Impetus is driven by a shared belief in tackling the barriers that hold back young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in education and employment. Alongside investing extensive financial and non-financial support in our charity partners through our Investment Team, we also seek to influence decision makers to design and implement evidence-led policy and direct new resources to get young people the support they need through our Public Affairs team. About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Philanthropy Team as an interim Events Officer. The successful candidate will be a highly organised individual who has a positive, can-do attitude, who enjoys working independently and as part of a team. ​

Impetus has a successful annual programme of fundraising and cultivation events including the Transforming Lives Dinner, the Impetus Triathlon and Impetus Future Party. We are looking for an Events Officer to support our programme of events, while also working creatively to innovate and improve our practices.​

Reporting to the Head of Events, the Events Officer is an integral part of the Impetus team, supporting our calendar of fundraising and engagement events.​

The Events Officer will be involved in all aspects of events management such liaising with venues and suppliers (catering, production, design), working with sponsors, event marketing, guest management and finance tracking. This is a role that will allow the postholder to take a high level of ownership for the sections assigned to them.​

You will join a small, passionate and hardworking Philanthropy team.

As part of the role, you will be required to attend in person meetings and our key fundraising events. Currently scheduled are:

- Impetus Triathlon, 13th September (if in post)

- Transforming Lives Dinner, 19th November

Key responsibilities

Event Delivery

• Work with the Head of Events and Events Manager on all Impetus’s major fundraising events, including the Transforming Lives Dinner, the Impetus Triathlon and the Impetus Futures Summer Party.
• Support our calendar of cultivation events such as the Pro Bono Breakfast and Philanthropy Breakfasts.
• Support research and planning of the annual events programme in line with the wider organisational strategy and objectives.
• Assist the Head of Events with on-site event management for all Impetus events.
• Source auction and raffle prizes, management of auction software and fulfilment of prizes.

Event Administration

• Manage the administration of all events, including invitation lists, invoices and general enquiries, working with the Head of Events to improve processes
• Responsible for managing all guest RSVPs across events, keeping guestlists up to date and accurately tracking responses on our CRM system
• Organise all administration resources for events, including name badges, delegate lists and signage
• Support the creation of post event reports, analysing data from each event and trends across previous years for the Philanthropy Team and wider organisation
• Supporting with invoicing, accounting, expenditures and financial reconciliation and assist with monthly reporting on income to Finance
• Proactively use our CRM system to manage event data
• Support on supplier and sponsor relationships

Team Support

• Manage all incoming enquiries for the Events Team via a shared inbox
• Fully comply with all of the organisation’s employment and other policies and procedures
• Provide general support to the Philanthropy Team where required, and work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation
• Assist with project management, design, and production of all event communications, social media posts and collateral alongside the Communications Team
• Work closely with the Communications Team to manage events pages on the Impetus website

SOS Rape Crisis (SOSRC) is an independent specialist sexual violence charity providing support for adults (regardless of gender), young people and children who have experienced sexual violence and/or child sexual abuse, in Southend, Castle Point and Rochford.

We are part of Synergy Essex, a partnership of three Rape Crisis Centres (SOSRC, SERICC and CARA), funded by the Office for the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex to provide a countywide ISVA service.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a dedicated team providing vital support to survivors of sexual violence and abuse. As a Navigator Project Worker, you will be the first point of contact for individuals accessing Southend-on-Sea Rape Crisis services. You will offer compassionate, trauma-informed, and needs led support, helping survivors feel heard and understood from the outset. Through careful assessment and informed referrals, you’ll play a key role in connecting survivors with the most appropriate services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a professional and empathic first point of contact for survivors of sexual violence and/or abuse.

• Offer one-off emotional and practical support, and provide information, signposting and onward referrals.

• Complete initial assessments to identify their needs and most appropriate next steps.

• Keep accurate, timely and confidential records on the case management system.

• Work in partnership with SOSRC colleagues including the Counselling and ISVA Teams.

• Attend team meetings, one-to-ones, clinical supervision, line management and other meetings as required.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection legislation and guidelines.

• Contribute to monitoring and evaluation and meet administrative requirements.

• Work in accordance with all SOSRC policies and procedures.

• Attend regular training and maintain a good working knowledge of sexual violence and its impact.

• Promote a trauma-informed and survivor-centred approach in all aspects of the role.

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Data Officer to support the delivery of high-quality data operations at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. You'll play a vital role in managing and enhancing our CRM systems, ensuring data integrity, streamlining processes, and enabling colleagues across the organisation to work more effectively. This is an exciting time to join, as we prepare to implement a new CRM system that will transform the way we work.

As a Senior Data Officer, you will be part of our Data & Insight team within the Finance. Working closely with colleagues in Digital, ICT and Fundraising, providing technical expertise while developing and improving data flows and reporting processes. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with data tools, scripting, and automation, and who can collaborate well across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Data Operations & Standards Manager in maintaining data quality and system integrity across our databases.
• Deliver training and day-to-day support to users of our CRM systems, including making agreed system adjustments.
• Manage CRM user access, data cleansing, reporting and administration.
• Lead on technical development projects to improve automation and streamline processes using tools such as SQL, Power Automate or Python.
• Help design and maintain system integrations using APIs or middleware platforms.
• Reduce manual processes by developing efficient data flows across systems.
• Oversee imports and ensure accurate processing of new and updated data, including from external data agencies.
• Analyse and interpret data sets to support performance monitoring.
• Work with the Insight & Analytics Manager to support reporting processes and develop insights.

About You:

• Proven experience managing and improving database systems and processes.
• Strong SQL skills are essential.
• Confidence using automation tools like Power Query, Power Automate or similar.
• Familiarity with APIs or system integrations, and knowledge of ETL processes.
• Experience handling bulk data imports and reconciliation.
• A good understanding of GDPR and data management best practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• A strong analytical mindset with an eye for detail.

Experience with Dynamics 365, LogicApps, the Microsoft Power Platform or KingswaySoft would be an advantage - but training can be provided.

• Destitution Support - a fortnightly Food Bank in partnership with St Peter’s Church providing food, food vouchers, toiletries, and other essentials, alongside a warm hub with free cafe, information and support. Small grants for essential items and cash payments for food in emergencies. Securing and distributing gifts in kind, e.g. winter coats, laptops and data. 

• Allotment of Refuge - a welcoming community of food growers that supports improved health, wellbeing and integration of members, whilst protecting the local environment. 

• Immigration Project in partnership with Southwark Law Centre, providing free legal advice and representation to support people to regularise their immigration status. 

We also use our frontline experience, together with our clients, to engage in Policy and influencing work to improve the services and policies that impact our client group. This includes advising the GLA on 3 asylum related working groups, and as a member of the London Housing Panel.

In this role you will be a key part of the hospice care leadership team ensuring that care standards are high, care delivery is responsive and reflects the model of hospice, that families are engaged, and the team is well led and supported.  As Team Leader Care (TL) you will work as part of the care leadership team. Working under the Senior Care Team Leaders (STL) you will provide direct care and leadership to members of the team, overseeing the delivery of safe, high quality care to the children and their families. You will also provide direct line management to a named group of staff and a caseload of children and their families.
 
To be successful you will be/have:
 
• RSCN – RN Child (or RGN with substantial paediatric palliative care experience and willing to undertake further learning in this field)
• Clinical experience and competence, including extensive post qualification experience working with children/adults with a life limiting / life threatening condition, including at end of life, chronic illness or disability in a variety of settings; acute, community.
• Leadership and management experience, with lead responsibility for a shift, ward, department or team
