Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

• Develop and manage relationships with Resurgo’s major donors, asking for financial support at the right time.
• Create individual engagement and stewardship plans for existing major donors and new prospects, including in-person meetings, written updates and reports.
• Help to develop the mid-level giving programme by creating a stewardship plan and tailored written communication.

Prospects

• Develop and implement the prospecting strategy, attending networking 
  events, asking for introductions and being confident using LinkedIn to 
  look for new opportunities, identifying, researching and contacting 
  potential supporters.
• Work with the corporate teams to cross-sell opportunities; identify and 
  further engage high level individuals within businesses and vice versa. 

Events

• Assist with the planning and delivery of a variety of fundraising events, 
  working closely with the impact, communications and finance teams to 
  generate strong results.
• Help to develop and deliver new strategic events to further engage 
  major and mid-level donors with Resurgo’s work.

Financial Management

• Help to monitor the major donor pipeline, regularly reporting on income and progress against targets and help with financial management using a CRM (Salesforce).

Training Standards Officer

We are looking for a part time Training Standards Officer (21 hours per week) to work in the Learning Directorate at the Royal College of Pathologists. This role is key to support our members by facilitating the maintenance of specialty postgraduate curricula in seven pathology specialties and subspecialties, as well as ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements of the GMC.

This role will project manage the quality assurance processes for training qualifications our members complete as part of their professional development. Your role will be to review and update the curricula for all College qualifications and provide regular reports for both internal and external bodies. We are looking for a strong administrator who can plan and implement a timetable for regular reviews of curricula by committees, ensuring compliance with timelines/deadlines as required.

The Royal College of Pathologists is a professional membership organisation with charitable status concerned with all matters relating to the science and practice of pathology. It is a body of its Fellows, Diplomates, Affiliates and trainees, supported by the staff who are based at the College's London offices.

Philanthropy and Partnerships fundraising at Alzheimer's Research UK has grown significantly over recent years. The Directorate has a track record of soliciting seven-figure donations and winning significant corporate partnerships with well-known and well-loved brands such as Omaze, Cadbury, Warburtons, Roadchef and Dobbies.

We are now looking to build upon our success by launching a new, significant fundraising appeal. This appeal will help drive further transformational growth, from income across majors donors, trusts and foundations, and corporate partners. As Stewardship Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high quality and meaningful experiences for Alzheimer’s Research UK’s major donors, charitable trusts and corporate partners. · Support the Donor Relations Manager in streamlining processes to benefit colleagues across the Directorate.

About the Degrees Initiative  

The Degrees Initiative is a UK-based NGO that builds the capacity of developing countries to evaluate solar radiation modification (SRM), a controversial proposal for reducing some impacts of climate change by reflecting sunlight away from the Earth. Degrees is neutral on whether SRM should ever be used, but we believe that developing countries should be empowered to conduct their own research and to play a central role in SRM discussions.  

Degrees’ programmatic work is centred on capacity-building through research grants and North–South and South-South collaboration schemes, outreach activities, and cross-cutting community-building. As part of this, Degrees runs workshops in the Global South that bring new voices into the SRM conversation, and our research funds support scientists and other experts in developing countries as they research what SRM could mean for their regions and become part of a global research community.

About the role

Sightsavers’ Trusts and Corporate Partnerships team is excited to be expanding its team in response to growing demands and opportunities in the trusts & foundation sector. We are recruiting for two additional Trusts & Foundations Advisors to be key contributors to the development of Sightsavers trusts and foundations programme. They will play a crucial role in the successful recruitment and cultivation of new business, while also managing a portfolio of existing trust and foundation donors primarily based in the UK, U.S and Europe.

In this role, the Advisor will be instrumental in contributing towards the team’s annual income target and supporting additional planned growth in the coming years. 

Responsibilities

• Manage and cultivate relationships with a portfolio of key trust and foundation donors for Sightsavers (up to 7-figure funding agreements) via proposals, mailings, reports, telephone or face-to-face meetings as appropriate, and coordinate donor visits, dealing with CEOs, Directors, and Trustees.
• Develop key external and internal relationships and donor engagement activities for the achievement of planned objectives with these donors.
• Research, identify, prioritise, and develop personalised engagement plans and donor strategies to cultivate new trust prospects in targeted global markets. The FIGO Fistula Surgery Training Initiative (FSTI) project has been in existence for 10 years and in that time has become recognised as a key global project, instrumental in delivering capacity building and improved healthcare outcomes for women, with an emphasis on the global south. After 10 years the senior project manager has stepped down and FIGO are seeking to use this as an opportunity to review the project delivery model.

The Interim Senior Project Manager role will lead the FIGO Fistula Project on an interim basis and be responsible for the ongoing delivery of the project during that period. In addition, they will be expected to review the project delivery model, ensuring that the project aligns to best practice and delivers in the most effective and efficient manner possible for the future, whilst ensuring agreed project outcomes.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Student Administration Officer will work with the Associate facing Programmes team to support the successful delivery of the upReach programme, focused on the programme operations of onboarding new Associates.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

You will contribute to upReach's mission by working with our programme team to facilitate the onboarding of new Associates.  You will be responsible for key processes and tasks on the Associate Tracking System, to enable upReach to deliver effectively and to meet objectives and key results (OKRs). These include:

• Associate Tracking System: steward applicants through the pipeline; confirm student eligibility; answering applicant and Programme Coordinator queries; track and report on pipeline progress; help Programme Coordinators with reporting on programme application progress;

• Ensuring our communications to applicants and prospective applicants are accurate and effective including email templates and call scripts;

• Assisting the student attraction team to deliver effective campaigns promoting our programmes;

• Assisting with other programme delivery activities as needed;

• Researching process improvement projects as needed.
