The Senior Evidence & Evaluation Manager sits within the Impact & Evidence directorate at the heart of Youth Futures Foundation.
You will play a central role in building the evidence base on what works to support young people into good jobs.
Working with three Heads of Evaluation, the Deputy Director and the Director, you will help ensure our evaluations are designed to generate credible evidence of what works.
- You will work closely with independent evaluators and delivery partners and colleagues in our Programmes & Grants and Policy & Communications directorates, you will assess the evaluability of interventions, and lead the design and delivery of large-scale, complex impact evaluations.
- You will manage a portfolio of projects, leading some directly, and overseeing others while supporting more junior colleagues.
- You will also contribute to strengthening our ‘evaluation architecture’, leading projects that enhance data infrastructure and access to administrative datasets, and set standards for methodological rigour in the sector.
This role can be based at our Birmingham, Leeds or London hub. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

The Role

We are looking for a highly competent Part-Time Finance Manager to join our team who displays a passion for St Bride Foundation. Responsible for producing financial and management accounts and reports. Also providing effective and efficient financial and administration support to the Board of Trustees, Foundation Manager and Heads of Departments.
The key responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:
- Manage the Annual Report process and prepare statutory accounts for St Bride Foundation Trust Ltd, St Bride Foundation and Bridewell Centre Limited.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reports, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
- Prepare month end journals and maintain robust supporting documentation.
- Maintain and reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including fixed assets.
- Manage the accounting system, including oversight of sales and purchase ledgers, cash book, bank reconciliations and debt collection.
- Lead the migration from Sage Line 50 to Xero, due for completion by March 2026.
- Manage payroll processing, RTI submissions and pension administration.
- Manage relationships with HMRC, prepare VAT returns and ensure VAT and Corporation Tax submissions are accurate and on time.
- Prepare the annual budget and work closely with budget holders to ensure forecasts are accurate and up to date.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, manage working capital and produce periodic income and expenditure forecasts.
- Liaise with investment managers, reconciling income and ensuring appropriate information is received for financial reporting.
- Prepare financial papers for the Board and Finance Committee, including financial analysis and commentary.
- Maintain and update the Risk Register, working with senior stakeholders to identify and manage financial risks.

The Senior Learning and Insights Manager will play a critical role-- contributing to a bold learning and insights strategy aligned with Purposeful’s vision, mission, and growth, leading the design of data collection systems, contributing to data collection efforts, from surveys to storytelling, closing feedback loops and crafting knowledge products, intended to inform, influence and amplify.
They will bring technical expertise across a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, they will come with curiosity and a willingness to share. The Learning and Insights Manager will work closely with the Learning and Insights Lead and across all Purposeful teams, particularly Grant-making, Communications and Resource Mobilisation.

SCOPE OF WORK
1. Learning and Insights Strategy and Systems

Contribute to the delivery and implementation of a new Learning and Insights strategy and results framework, building on our Learning Agenda.

Lead the design and embedding of data collection tools and systems across Purposeful teams, in particular our global grantmaking and advocacy teams.

Work closely with the Learning and Insights team to champion a culture of learning within Purposeful and with grantee partners.
2. Technical Support

Lead cycles of data collection across our global grantmaking work - supporting regional teams with technical expertise, as and when needed.

Periodically join learning calls, spaces and convenings with our grantee partners - embedding and supporting documentation.

Lead regular cross team learning and insights meetings and drive follow up actions.

Conduct periodic analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, and produce synthesis that informs strategic choices across thematic and regional work.

3. Research

Move learning grants to grantees (approximately five to ten grants annually) to enable them to document their work and/or conduct research which they have identified as a priority - this includes an application process, accompaniment plan and check-ins.

Contribute to the delivery of research led or commissioned by Purposeful, this may include the reviewing TORS and methodologies, check ins with consultants, and reviewing deliverables.
4. Knowledge Production and Dissemination

Conceptualize and produce case studies, briefs or other knowledge products underpinned by quantitative and qualitative data, to assist with case building.

Contribute to the development of other external knowledge products as required, such as slidedecks, thematic briefs, regional briefs, blogs, op-eds, and research reports.

Work across teams to identify opportunities to disseminate and amplify knowledge products, including conference spaces, social media campaigns, webinars, instagram lives and academic publications.

Lead and/or contribute to the drafting of conference and journal abstracts.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Experience & Skills

At least five to seven years of experience in MEL or research, including experience working with philanthropic funds, feminist organisations or social justice movements.

The Well Centre Charity exists to ensure every young person has access to health support that is holistic, youth friendly and free from barriers. Our model brings together GPs, Health and Wellbeing Practitioners and mental health practitioners to deliver integrated care in a way young people value.
Rooted in Lambeth, the Well Centre model has inspired services across South London and beyond. We are now building the research, learning and system infrastructure required to scale this approach nationally. About the Role

Direct Marketing Acquisition Manager (Direct Response)
You will develop and oversee a specialist area of direct response marketing, taking responsibility for paid media activity resulting in giving and prize-led support, and the associated programme and products. You will ensure the highest standard of quality and compliance, across a diverse programme mix. You’ll manage significant income and expenditure budgets and deliver exceptional fundraising campaigns to drive an ambitious growth plan, accelerating progress towards a cure.
Collaborating with different teams across the charity, you’ll be planning, managing and delivering the direct marketing programme across a range of media including digital, TV, telephone, and print. Activities in the acquisition portfolio are diverse; from delivering an established, successful core programme to playing an important role in exciting cross-organisational projects.
You’ll work with a team of three across a range of channels, media and projects at the charity; speaking to range of audiences with one theme in common – compelling people to stand with us for a cure.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme and campaign management
· Lead the development and delivery of the direct marketing acquisition programme and strategy, with a particular focus on the direct response elements.
· To be responsible for reviewing and developing our Weekly Lottery Strategy to maximize income.
· Oversee the delivery of the direct response acquisition campaigns; ensuring they are in market on time, on budget and on brand.
· Deliver consistent, structured testing to ensure continuous improvement. Where appropriate and worthwhile, ensure testing is applied to all activity and reviewed with recommendations acted upon.
· Involvement in charity-wide projects and groups; putting supporters at the heart of what we do, as well as playing a key role in the delivery of our Fundraising & Marketing Strategy.
· Management of all key acquisition suppliers including routine reviews, briefing, optimisation and general relationship management.
· Annual planning of acquisition direct marketing; including input to operational planning and development of relevant marketing plans.
· Ensure the campaign planning and delivery cycle is adhered to across the team, and all stakeholders are well managed.
· Ensure routine end of campaign reviews and analysis (with suppliers as well as your own), with proactive adaptation of plans to optimise results.
· Ensure contingency plans and activities are in place to close any expected income gaps.
People management
· Management and development of a team of three, with two direct reports.

· Detailed reporting geared towards a longer-term view of performance, covering long-term & ROI modelling, lifetime value and considering supporter experience and engagement.

Role Summary
This is an exciting role for someone with a passion for leading data-driven, insight-led service design and delivery, and for a person who loves to champion best practice in data management and governance. In this role you will contribute to improving the experiences and outcomes of the women who access our Women’s Centres and Services, and by listening to and learning from women, you will utilise insight to drive organisational and systemic change.
You will lead on the strategic use of data and insights, embedding best practice in data collection methods and gender-specific assessment tools, with a focus on the Women’s Risk Needs Assessment (WRNA) and the Gendered Wellbeing Assessment (GWA). You will deliver robust and meaningful operational and strategic reporting; regular and accessible management information to support effective service delivery; regular performance monitoring and reporting to commissioners and funders; and further develop the ways we demonstrate our impact and share stories of change.
You will lead operational delivery of our data systems, to ensure robust data governance, compliance and ongoing technical implementation and optimisation. This role is critical to embedding a culture of data-driven decision making, using insight to support high quality service delivery, and to drive long term systemic change through key research projects. You will work closely with our WRNA Project Manager and the wider Management team to embed learnings from the Effective Women’s Centres Partnership and support our ongoing contribution to University of Birmingham long term research into women’s experience of the criminal justice system, helping to shape the development of evidence-based policy and best practice across the Women’s sector in the UK.
You will work closely and line manage the Data and Impact Analyst to ensure robust training programmes are in place, to support our staff teams to effectively and efficiently utilise our data tools and systems, and to embed data management best practice. You will also work together to embed our involvement and lived experience strategy, ensuring women’s voices and insight are at the heart of our service delivery models.
The role will also provide leadership on data protection and organisational Data Protection Officer (DPO) responsibilities, and will work closely with our Information Governance Lead.
Key accountabilities
Data Systems Oversight and Leadership:
- Work with EWC partners, The JABBS Foundation and University of Birmingham to support the final design phases of a specialist, bespoke case management system (CMS), to ensure it meets the needs of Together Women, and our sister organisations within the Effective Women’s Centres Partnership.
- Roll out the implementation and adoption of the new CMS, to include data migration, staff training programmes, and new reporting suites and dashboards.
- Provide strategic CMS oversight to ensure the system continues to meet organisational needs and lead planning for CMS development projects including upgrades, integrations and enhancements.
- Monitor and assess future CMS system needs, scoping and identifying development areas.
- Contribute to budget planning, including CMS ongoing costs and development projects, and ensuring activities are delivered within agreed resources.
- Work closely with Senior Management and wider Management team on future projects relating to updates or changes to the CMS system.
Data Leadership and Governance:
- Develop a Data and Impact Strategy to align with organisational priorities.
- Lead on data governance and UK GDPR compliance, including data governance policies, DPIAs, information sharing agreements, SARs, and ongoing breach and information security risk management.
- Support the implementation and ongoing review of data policies, ROPA documentation, data security protocols, and internal staff training.
- Provide assurance to the Senior Management team on data compliance, reporting risks and mitigating actions.
- Ensure staff understand their data responsibilities, build data capability and a strong data protection culture through training, guidance and fostering data confidence and accountability.
Insights, Analysis and Performance:
- Lead the provision of insights, analysis, and performance reporting, and embed a culture of insight-led decision making across the charity.
- Support the ongoing development of our involvement and lived experience insight workstream, and further establish our ability to co-design and co-produce our service offer.
- Evidence our impact and performance within contractual monitoring reports, and contribute to future funding bids and tenders to secure commissioning arrangements.

Roles and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for the following but will be expected to meet with the project team once a month and come to the kick-off meeting and launch event. There is also scope for involvement in the communication and dissemination of the work throughout the program.

Funding: The salary range is £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience. This is advertised as a full-time position; however, we are open to flexible arrangements. As the Professional Standards Manager, you will play a central role in the effective operation of the Complaints and Conduct Process (CCP). Safeguarding Manager
This is a key role in the Freedom Fund’s Safeguarding Manager will work closely with colleagues to lead efforts to build internal capacity and embed strong, inclusive safeguarding practices throughout our work. STOP THE TRAFFIK prevents vulnerable communities from being recruited, trafficked, and exploited. Our targeted prevention work disrupts the criminal business of human trafficking, making it too high-risk and low-profit to be viable.
The Development Manager sits within our Development & Communications Team and plays a critical role in securing the funding and partnerships that fuel our global prevention efforts. This role is responsible for managing and preparing high-quality funding applications, nurturing donor and partner relationships, and leading on individual giving initiatives that grow our supporter base and strengthen long-term sustainability.
This is a dynamic and strategic role suited to someone who is a strong writer, comfortable working with data and impact insights, and driven to connect STOP THE TRAFFIK’s mission with funders who share our vision. You will help build a strong pipeline of philanthropic, trust, foundation, and corporate support, ensuring the organisation continues to innovate and scale its prevention programmes worldwide.
This role will be responsible for:
Funding Development & Applications
• Prepare and submit compelling, high-quality funding proposals to trusts and foundations.
• Develop supplementary materials for applications, including budgets, MEL frameworks, timelines, and theories of change.
• Research and identify new funding opportunities to maintain a strong pipeline.
• Manage funding calendars, ensuring deadlines, reporting, and grant obligations are met.
Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing funders, partners, and individual donors, ensuring excellent stewardship.
• Support the Head of Development & Communications in cultivating philanthropic prospects and corporate partnerships.
• Represent STOP THE TRAFFIK in meetings and presentations with funders and external stakeholders.
Campaigns & Individual Giving
• Lead individual giving activities.
• Collaborate with the Development & Communications Team to design creative fundraising campaigns that grow income across diverse supporter groups including universities, schools, and community initiatives.
Storytelling & Impact
• Translate data, insights, and project outcomes into persuasive narratives for funders and partners.
• Work closely with programme teams to gather impact information and incorporate it into applications and pitches.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in fundraising or partnership development within the charity or social impact sector.
• A strong track record of writing successful funding proposals and trust/foundation applications.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive, evidence-based narratives.
• Experience researching prospects and managing a varied funding pipeline.
• Confidence presenting to funders and external audiences.
• Strong relationship-building skills with individuals and organisations.
• The ability to work with data and monitoring insights to strengthen reporting and funding cases.
• Excellent organisation and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
