This is a pivotal role at an exciting point in the development of our training and consultancy function. We are looking for someone who can build on the strong foundations already in place and take the function into its next phase - growing reach, strengthening quality, deepening partnerships and scaling delivery through a high-quality blended model that combines NAPAC’s external trainer network with our internal expertise.
The successful candidate will lead the development of NAPAC’s learning products, oversee the Trauma Informed Organisations Programme, and build strong relationships with clients, commissioners, partners and other stakeholders. They will shape proposals, identify opportunities for growth, and ensure that all training products are evidence-informed, accessible and aligned with survivor perspectives.
A central part of the role is to lead and strengthen NAPAC’s delivery model, including the recruitment, support and quality assurance of external trainers and training associates. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that delivery across the client base is well designed, well matched and consistently high quality.
We are looking for someone who brings real credibility in learning design and facilitation. Context
This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in a pioneering programme that could reshape how kinship families are supported across England.
Kinship is undertaking a pilot Randomised Controlled Trial (RCT) of Kinship Connected, a Kinship Navigator programme designed to provide intensive, specialist support to kinship carers and help them navigate complex systems.
This is a multi-partner programme involving funders, independent evaluators, participating local authorities, internal delivery teams and kinship carers with lived experience.
Kinship Navigators are at the heart of delivery. You will work directly with kinship carers in the community and in their homes, providing intensive 1-to-1 support and facilitating local support groups, while working closely with local authority partners and other services.
Because the programme forms part of a pilot RCT, maintaining high-quality case records and accurate data collection is critical. Your work will contribute directly to the evidence base about what works for kinship families.
Each Navigator will support around 40 kinship carers over the delivery year, holding a caseload of approximately 20 families at any one time.
You will be part of a wider delivery team including the Programmes Manager, Mobilisation and Delivery Project Manager, research colleagues and other Kinship teams, working together to ensure the programme is delivered ethically, consistently and to a high standard
About the role:
The Kinship Navigator provides intensive, time-limited support to kinship carers through the Kinship Connected programme, a structured six-month intervention designed to help kinship families stabilise placements and access the support they need.
Working directly with kinship carers, you will build trusting relationships while completing structured assessments, goal setting and reviews to help families strengthen support networks and navigate services such as children’s social care, education, health and community support.
This is a community-facing role, working directly with kinship carers in homes, community spaces and through co-location with local authority teams and partner organisations.
The role requires a combination of high-quality relational practice and disciplined case recording. As part of the pilot RCT, accurate documentation of activity, progress and outcomes is essential to ensure the programme can be evaluated and improved.
You will work closely with the Programmes Manager, delivery team, researchers and local authority partners to ensure the programme is delivered consistently, ethically and to a high standard, with a strong commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion in supporting kinship families from all backgrounds.

Key responsibilities include:
Establishing and facilitating a monthly support group for kinship carers in your area.
Mapping local services and building relationships with organisations that can provide specialist support, training or activities for kinship families.
Liaising with schools, local authorities and other professionals to coordinate support.

This is a senior role with real scope. You will lead our communications team across print, digital, events, and marketing, and make sure what we put out is clear, compelling, consistent, and rooted in our purpose. As well as marketing, this role has responsibility for content, including for our website and social media channels, making sure these are updated with high-quality, accessible, engaging, and well-optimised educational and brand-building materials pitched at a range of target audiences.
This role is about leadership as much as delivery. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a clear organisational communications grid, and for working closely with colleagues across the organisation, particularly the Head of Press & Campaign Communications and the Head of Fundraising, to make sure our messaging, brand, and tone are joined up and effective.

What the job involves
Be part of shaping a vital new service supporting men affected by the sexual wellbeing challenges associated with prostate cancer and its treatment.
Working as part of our Specialist Nurse team, and alongside our new Sexual Wellbeing Service Manager, you’ll provide personalised, compassionate support to men and their partners, helping them navigate their sexual health and wellbeing including treatment side effects such as erectile dysfunction.
You’ll deliver this support across our helpline channels; phone, webchat, WhatsApp and email, offering expert, unbiased information that empowers people to make informed judgements. You’ll also work with men referred from NHS partners as part of our new Movember funded service, focusing on those who need timely, specialist intervention.
You’ll help shape how this service grows. That includes:
· supporting the development of targeted sexual wellbeing resources
· contributing clinical insight to service improvements and new projects
· helping to deliver online group support, patient classes and webinars
· working with colleagues across Prostate Cancer UK so that the latest clinical knowledge informs our wider activities, from education sessions for clinicians to our written health information
· representing the charity at external events where needed
· collecting and recording data to help us understand impact and continually improve
This role blends hands on support with the chance to influence a pioneering new approach to sexual wellbeing for men affected by prostate cancer. You’ll be part of a supportive, expert clinical team and will have ongoing opportunities to develop your practice.
What we want from you
You’ll be a registered nurse with experience working at NHS Band 6 or equivalent, and you’ll bring a real passion for improving outcomes for men living with and beyond prostate cancer. You’ll already have experience supporting patients with sexual wellbeing needs, whether through erectile dysfunction clinics, sexual health services, oncology or urology pathways, and feel at ease talking openly and sensitively about issues like erectile dysfunction, intimacy and treatment related changes.
You’ll be an excellent communicator who can explain complex clinical information clearly, whether you’re on the phone, responding to a WhatsApp message or delivering a webinar. You’ll be comfortable working unsupervised, while also being a supportive, collaborative team member.

Global Canopy is a data-driven not for profit delivering real transparency and accountability for market impacts on nature and people. Our special focus is on ending deforestation – an essential step in achieving urgent global goals on climate, nature and human rights. We deliver our work by building and maintaining open-data platforms, creating stronger voluntary and compliance frameworks, and accelerating accountability and action in the finance sector with nature-positive guidance to help achieve deforestation-free portfolios.
We work globally, with a focus on both forested regions (particularly across Latin America and South East Asia), and major consumer and financial markets (with a focus on Europe, the US, Singapore and China). About the Role
As People and Culture Lead, reporting to the Director of Execution & Planning, you will be responsible for the delivery and development of the People function at Global Canopy. Providing advice and support to the Leadership Team and colleagues across the organisation, you will lead on people and culture initiatives that enable our team to maximise their potential, resulting in greater impact as an organisation.
You will bring excellent relationship-building and influencing skills as well as strong technical expertise to ensure that we can recruit, retain, develop, support and engage the people we rely on to deliver our vital work for forests, nature and human rights. You will manage all aspects of team members’ journey with the organisation, including recruitment, performance and development, employee relations and pay and benefits.
This is a great role for an experienced People professional who believes in the power of a people-centred organisation, has had previous success in delivering people and culture change projects and working in a business-partnering role. You will be comfortable managing upwards, acting as a trusted advisor, and confident being the face of People and Culture at an organisational level. Salary: £55,000- £60,000 full time equivalent. This role sits within Band C on Global Canopy’s remuneration framework.
Nature of contract: Full time or 0.8 FTE. Permanent. This is a hybrid role working from home and our office in Oxford. There is a requirement to attend the office once a week and for other meetings/work as required.
Holidays: 36 days (including bank/public holidays) for discretionary use across the annual leave year. Option to purchase up to an additional 5 days or equivalent of one week’s leave.
