Main Duties and Responsibilities

• New Business Development: Proactively seek out and secure new corporate partnerships and funding opportunities to expand PLANETS' income streams.
• Stewardship & Reporting: Develop stewardship plans and contact strategies for corporate supporters, ensuring timely updates on project impact and outcomes.
• Celebrating our partners by making sure that they are thanked for any support and receive updates and reports on the charity’s work.

What is the overall purpose of the role?

We are looking to appoint a Support Youth Worker to help develop and deliver an innovative and progressive youth programme for our Girls Project, in a safe industrious and supportive environment working primarily with young girls from diverse communities.

The Girls only group (targeting ages 11-19 years) will promote life skills, well-being and female empowerment. Helping girls move forward through the next stage of their lives to become the women who will shape their community in the future. The Girls group will support, provide advice, mentoring and signposting to additional support services.

Responsibilities:

• Support with the research, planning and delivery of an innovative and progressive programme of youth activities in collaboration with young people and the lead worker.
• Carry out financial and administrative procedures related to the Girls Project.
• Support the promotion of the Girls Project including collating and creating content to be used for online and offline marketing and advertising (hard copy, posters, social media posts etc).
• Record all attendances (registers) for all sessions and populate data required for reporting purposes in a timely manner.
• Coordinate, deliver, host or co-host and oversee the delivery of Girls Project sessions (one-to-ones or groups), trips and residential, that take place on-site and off-site, face to face or online.
• Liaise and supervise with facilitators or external providers directly concerning the delivery of the Girls Project i.e including agreements, risk assessments, SLA’s and Code of Conduct.
• Ensure that children and young people are involved in contributing to the development of the Girls Project via consultations and evaluations.
• Recruit young people through networking and promoting to external organisations and agencies, and beyond.

Our client was founded in 2018 by the families and friends of people who had taken their own lives as a direct result of gambling. The charity supports people bereaved by gambling-related suicide, raises awareness of the devastating consequences of gambling disorder, and works to prevent gambling-related suicide. They are now recruiting for a Specialist Family Support Manager, a pivotal position for the organisation that will deliver evidence-based therapeutic support for bereaved families. This is a permanent, full-time role that will be based remotely (although travel will often be required due to service needs). Please note, you must hold a clinical qualification in a relevant therapeutic discipline to be considered.

As Specialist Family Support Manager, you will work as part of a dedicated, tight-knit team, delivering tailored, therapeutic interventions to families bereaved by gambling-related suicide. You will build consistent, compassionate relationships with families, supporting them to navigate investigations, inquests or research processes linked to gambling harms, ensuring they feel informed, represented and supported. You will ensure that all clinical practice adheres to safeguarding, risk management and professional standards, maintaining accurate and confidential records. You will also work across the wider organisation, providing clinical input into the design of training modules (including training for NHS clinicians and social care professionals) to raise awareness of gambling-related suicide.

At Ambitious about Autism, we're currently looking for a Youth Engagement Officer – Autistic and OK to join our team on a 2 year fixed term contract.

The Youth Engagement Officer will play a central role in ensuring autistic young people are meaningfully involved in shaping and delivering the next phase of the Autistic and OK programme. Prospectus is delighted to be working with the foundation to recruit a Lead Funding Manager on a full-time (or 0.8) to lead the delivery of the foundation’s priorities for Gender Justice and Children and Young People’s Rights, as part of A Fairer Future (AFF) team. The role:
This leadership role will provide grant-making and strategic support capacity to the AFF team, which currently consists of 7 people reporting to the Director of A Fairer Future. The role will take on existing relationships in the form of a portfolio of larger grants at various points in their funding journey. This person will pick up these relationships and ensure continuity as well as assessing new applications.  This role will take a lead on strategic initiatives, driving impact in the Gender Justice and Children and Young People’s Rights priorities.  Committed to social justice, the candidate will be ambitious to help create change using the foundation's full range of tools and approaches. This role will be responsible for informing, influencing and monitoring the implementation of the AFF strategy and programme, including developing and assessing proposals for activities, leading on the delivery of impact, and maintaining external networks to provide strategic guidance to the Foundation.

Convening collaborations, commissioning research and mobilising networks to create change will be core aspects of this role in addition to supporting other team members with expertise relating to the two sectors. This person will be responsible for managing the larger grant relationships throughout out the grant cycle, capturing and embedding learning along the way. They will also be responsible for site visits and facilitating online discussions with organisations, as well as representing the foundation at sector forums and events concentrating on the AFF priority areas.

The culture at the foundation is collaborative and nurturing, so working closely with colleagues to share ideas and learn from each other will be essential in this role.

The person:
The successful candidate will have substantial grant-making experience in addition to having knowledge of the Children and Young People and/or Gender Justice sectors, perhaps gained through work in the voluntary or local authority sector, or through another funder. Highly organised, intellectually curious and pragmatic, this person will be able to unpick complex information and will be confident and experienced in assessing grant applicants’ financial information. They will understand the charity funding world and importantly, the challenges faced by marginalised communities across the UK in the face of widespread inequity. The AFF team works with the Involving Young People’s Collective, candidates should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the value of co-production.

IT confident and systematic in their approach, this person will also be confident and empathetic team leader in addition to being an excellent communicator, both in person and in written work. Excellent attention to detail, thorough and collaborative in their approach to work, this person will be a real team player whilst being able to work under their own steam, working in a fast-paced environment.

A broad understanding and experience of systems change principles and an appreciation of the nuanced intersections between the various priorities of the AFF programme will be important to success in this role. The ability to contribute to the effectiveness of a busy team through encouragement and inspiration will also be important.

Job Purpose:

The Senior Psychologist/Psychotherapist will lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions for service users with complex trauma presentations. As a clinical specialist, they will provide expert assessment, formulation, and intervention, ensuring that psychological care is tailored to the needs of asylum seekers and refugees.

A key aspect of the role is clinical leadership, including supervision and training for psychologists, and the assistant psychologist and caseworker to ensure psychological principles inform all aspects of service delivery. The postholder will drive the integration of trauma-informed practices, contribute to clinical governance, and support outcome monitoring. They will also play a pivotal role in supporting pathways for stabilisation and trauma-focused therapy.

Working closely with the Clinical Lead to uphold clinical standards, the Senior Psychologist will focus on the direct provision and supervision of psychological interventions, rather than broader operational and service management functions. Additionally, they will engage with external stakeholders to promote best practices in psychological care and facilitate seamless referral pathways.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Knowledge:

• Clinical/ Forensic/ Counselling Psychologist with HCPC registration or Psychotherapist with UKCP, BACP or BABCP accreditation.
• Further advanced training in relevant specialist treatment delivery (e.g. CBT, EMDR, NET)
• Advanced expertise in complex trauma, PTSD, and comorbid mental health conditions, particularly in refugee and asylum-seeking populations.
• In-depth understanding of trauma-informed care models, stabilization techniques, and stepped-care approaches.
• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based trauma therapies, including TF-CBT, CBT, EMDR, NET, and third-wave approaches.
• Strong working knowledge of safeguarding policies, risk assessment protocols, and ethical guidelines (e.g., HCPC, BPS, UKCP, BACP, BABCP, NICE guidelines).
• Understanding of mental health policy, advocacy, and service commissioning within humanitarian and third-sector settings.

Main purpose of post
 To provide effective administrative support across the organisation, which will
include minute taking and completion of expenses.
 Perform administrative tasks related to HR processes, to ensure the efficient
delivery of HR services and the accurate maintenance of employee records.
Requiring the candidate to be organised, detail-oriented, and able to handle
sensitive information with confidentiality.
 Work on administrative projects and time-limited pieces of work to help
improve systems and processes.
 Support colleagues from all different departments with increased activity at
key times of the year, such as fundraising campaigns i.e., Christmas campaign,
the governance meeting cycle and supporting our events.
 Providing reception cover at our Support Centre, Cavendish Centre and Charity
Hub when required.
What you do
Administration
You will support the whole organisation with a range of administrative tasks
which will include:
 Completing minutes for key meetings.
 Processing of Expenses on behalf of the Senior Leadership Team.
 Arranging room bookings both internally and externally.
 Support with co-ordinating organisation wide meetings i.e., monthly staff
meetings, away days, including booking venues and arranging catering.
 Supporting with governance committee cycles, preparing documents and
reports as required.
 Inputting data into relevant systems accurately and in a timely manner.
 Dealing with enquiries from patients, donors, supporters, service providers
and volunteers as required in a timely and effective manner.
 Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required.
 Taking donations in any of the Weston Park Cancer Charity locations.
 Support with the administration of our grants programme, including
preparing and issues letter to grant applicants as instructed, updating and
maintaining grant budget spreadsheets.
You will work on time limited ad hoc projects, which could include:
 Creating and implementing new processes, including building templates /
documentation / matrixes.
 The build-up to / during and/ or after a campaign / or event.
HR Support
You will provide support to the HR Manager which will include:
 Maintaining and update employee records.
 Assist in the recruitment processes (posting job ads, scheduling interviews,
communicating with candidates).

 Support with preparing HR documents, such as onboarding paperwork, and
employee letters.
 Coordinate new hire onboarding and offboarding processes.
 Organize training sessions and maintain training records.
 Assist with HR projects such as employee engagement programs.
Cover Support
You may be asked to provide cover on the front of desks of one of our sites:
Cancer Support Centre, Northumberland Road, our Charity Hub, Whitham Road
or Cavendish Centre, Wilkinson Street which will include:
 Meeting and greeting visitors including supporters and patients and acting as
their first point of contact for any queries.
 Dealing with telephone, email and postal enquiries across the organisation
 During cover period, you may be required to open and close the patient
spaces, as part of a wider team rota.
 Booking in and logging patients onto the relevant records and databases to
provide accurate data.
 Sending appointment reminder calls/texts/letters to clients as required.
 Co-ordinating the Transport service, including supporting and co-ordinating
the volunteer drivers.
 Managing the consumables within this patient space and ordering
replacement stock as and when required.

Status:       Permanent

Salary:       Band 8b, £65,241 - £75,441, per annum, dependent on experience, plus 5% Scotland Fringe Allowance (if based in Scotland)

Hours:       Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 16:30, hybrid, 2 days in office, 3 days at home.

Combat Stress is the UK’s leading mental health charity for veterans. For over a century we’ve been helping former service personnel deal with issues like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. Today we provide specialist treatment and support for veterans from every service and conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues related to their military service. To provide the highest quality strategic and operational leadership of Combat Stress in Scotland and Northern Ireland. The post holder will be the senior manager responsible for representing and promoting Combat Stress across both regions, building positive and productive relationships with statutory and third sector colleagues.

The Head of Services will be an experienced and forward thinking registered health or social care professional providing inclusive, compassionate and inspirational leadership.

The successful candidate will hold a current healthcare professional registration with the NMC, HCPC, SWE or GMC. You will be expected to have significant and recent experience of the core elements of management practice, including:
• budget management.
• recruitment and retention.
• performance and quality improvement.
• line management and supervision of staff.

You will of course continue to be responsible for ensuring these aspects are of the highest quality when delivered by others.
