The NSPCC’s mission is to end cruelty to children. Today, the NSPCC lobbies government on child welfare issues, leads national campaigns and offers front line services support for thousands of vulnerable children. We do this directly and through schools, local safeguarding children’s boards and others, offering support, advice and training. Since 2006, we have run Childline, the telephone helpline and counselling service. The Data and Analytics Hub have developed a new ambitious data and analytics strategy to transform the NSPCC into a leading data-driven organisation at the forefront of preventing child abuse and neglect through the collective insights of our data. The Supporter Data Operations team is a team of 15 sitting within the Data and Analytics Hub that process all the fundraising data coming into the society from numerous and diverse sources and maintains and trains staff on our supporter data systems..
Our Supporter Centricity programme aims to transform our relationship with our supporters and as part of this programme we are bringing together all of our key data systems and processes. This role will bring extra capacity to the busy Database Training, Support, and Governance team. Straddling BAU and project work, the postholder will maintain a high standard of support for users of our existing systems as well as supporting the delivery of our ambitious transformation programme.
Job purpose
The key aspects of the role are:
· User support – Provide a high level of support for all Raiser’s Edge users
· Translate business needs into technical deliverables – Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver supporting work to contribute to technical solutions that meet business needs.
· Process Development & Documentation – Ensure that new business database processes are documented and end-to-end impacts are understood. Support on the production of training resources
· Migration support – Complete data cleansing, analysis, and manipulation as required
Key relationships - Internal
· Reports to the Database Training and Support Manager
· Works closely with the Supporter Data Operations, Income Generation and Supporter Centricity teams
· Builds and maintains working relationships with other teams across the Society as necessary

Main duties and responsibilities
· Act as a first line of support for Raiser’s Edge users with BAU queries on a day-to-day basis. Provide clear communication and support, adjusting communication style based on the needs of the user
· Proactively take steps to improve business support and information systems that affect fundraising activities and staff through understanding how information and business processes are used, evaluating their effectiveness and efficiency on an on-going basis and making recommendations for and implementing improvements.
· Support the transformation and migration of all sources of supporter data and systems that will form part of the new platform solution, working with our subject matter experts and suppliers.
· Carry out testing of deployed solutions in the new Salesforce environment as part of User Acceptance Testing
· Develop effective internal relationships. Understand business challenges and opportunities, translating business needs into technical articulations
· Keep up to date on best practice and developments within the charity sector generally and particularly changes to fundraising regulations and codes of practice.

About the role and you
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and talented senior practitioner to join the management team for a thriving service area, whilst continuing to work directly with autistic adults. In this role:
· You will oversee the development, delivery, and evaluation of specialist services for autistic adults who have sexually offended or are at risk of doing so.
· You will support our skilled practitioners in delivering an evidence informed and quality service.
· You will passionately enable and uphold the team’s commitment to excellent practice in the prevention of child sexual abuse.
This role requires clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of autism, sexual offending behaviour, and safeguarding. The postholder provide expert consultation, and will ensure that all our interventions are neurodiversity-informed, trauma-sensitive, and evidence-based. The goal of the project is to ensure that autistic people across Scotland are empowered to make better choices about their behaviour online and offline.
The postholder will also contribute to strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and service innovation, supporting the Lucy Faithfull Foundation’s mission to prevent child sexual abuse.
This post needs someone who is confident in project management, professional, proactive and outcome-focused, with exceptional communication and engagement skills. You will have the vision and operational management capabilities to maintain and advance support for our clients.
The post is funded by the Support Autistic Adults fund until March 2028 and the post is offered on a fixed term contract until this date.

As part of this, an important aspect of the role will be supporting the development of a coherent discipleship pathway across different age groups within families and children at home, which will be sensitive to key transitional development stages across generations and life experiences. About You
We are looking for someone who wants to make a positive contribution to the work of the development and delivery of the Discipleship stream outlined in Methodist Church’s evangelism and growth strategy – part of the Church’s commitment to be a growing, inclusive, evangelistic, and justice-seeking Church.
You will preferably have experience in training and project management, and it is essential that you are experienced in children, family and youth ministry. You must be experienced in the development and delivery of teaching programmes and have a good understanding of intergenerational faith development. As a good project manager and communicator, you are able to work with ecumenical and secular partners as well as local Methodist Churches and Circuits. Experience with digital content development and social media would be an advantage.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a part time Legal Counsel to join our In-House Legal team at SNG for a fixed term contract for 1 year. You'll be working 27 hours a week reporting into one of our Senior Legal Counsels and working together with Legal Advisers and other Legal Counsels.
Based in the Hurn office, you'll combine home and office working. There will be some requirements to travel to our other offices as and when required, so you should be happy to travel.
The role
You'll be responsible for your own caseload of legal cases as well as working with senior members of the team to partner with the business to resolve more complex legal cases and provide strategic input, including but not limited to:
- Managing legal processes for statutory Right to Acquire and statutory Preserved Right to Buy applications received by SNG. This includes all eligibility, drafting of all statutory notices and the entire conveyancing process.
- Carrying out legal work required for asset management of a shared ownership property portfolio including, acting for the landlord on staircasing of shared ownership leases; dealing with repossessions of shared ownership leases; acting on assignments of shared ownership leases – to include transfers of the superior title on 100% staircasing when required
- Advising on an extensive range of property matters involving leasehold estates, whether SNG is landlord or leaseholder, including service charge provisions and legislation, understanding the extent of obligations, tenancy breach, replies to enquiries, etc
- Carrying out legal reviews of title, planning, estate documents and leases to provide reports and advice on the above.
What we're looking for
You'll need previous experience in a similar legal role, with experience in legal matters relating to Property. We need you to have transactional experience but experience of portfolio asset management is desirable. We will provide training on aspects of property law work that are less commonly carried out where you may not have dealt with previously eg Right to Buy/Acquire rules.
You'll also need:
- To hold a valid Practising Certificate (or equivalent) to ensure you can carry out Reserved Work as defined by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, as well as be responsible for the supervision of members of the team who are not qualified to undertake Reserved Work
- 2 years + PQE working within a law firm, in-house legal department, housing association or local authority and managing own legal caseload of similar cases
- Strong understanding of Landlord and Tenant law and substantial experience of drafting Transfers of Whole Part and residential leases
- Excellent planning skills with the ability to prioritise your work and able to meet the demands of statutory timescales
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships within the Legal team, with internal clients and other third-party stakeholders
- Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
