About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Fundraising & Events to lead the development and growth of a high-performing department focused on generating income through national and international challenge events and corporate partnerships. 
 
This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for designing the fundraising and events strategy, building the structure and team to deliver it, and ensuring scalable, sustainable growth. You will shape the long-term direction of the department, ensure the right people and processes are in place, and play a key role in supporting the organisation’s broader income generation goals — including supporting the CEO with major donor stewardship. 
 
While the department’s primary focus is income growth through challenge events and corporate partnerships, the role also includes oversight of a small number of legacy community events and relationships ensuring continuity and reputational stewardship. 
 

Key Responsibilities: 

Strategic Leadership & Department Building 

• Develop and lead the overall strategy for the Fundraising & Events department in line with the organisation’s income growth objectives. 
• Design and build a departmental structure capable of delivering scalable fundraising through events and partnerships. 
• Recruit, lead, and manage a high-performing team, ensuring clarity of roles, effective delegation, and strong performance management.

Challenge Events Programme

• Identify and guide strategic partnerships with external groups and communities that can support participant growth and event reach. 

Corporate Fundraising 

• Design and implement a new corporate fundraising strategy
• Lead the identification and prioritisation of strategic corporate opportunities. 
• Guide the creation of partnership models, engagement materials, and stewardship plans, supporting the team in execution. 
• Develop the necessary infrastructure (e.g. pipeline management, prospecting systems) for long-term corporate fundraising success. 

Major Donor Support 

• Act as a senior partner to the CEO in managing and stewarding major donors. 
• Ensure the department provides the research, briefing, and coordination required to support a best-in-class major donor experience. 

Legacy Community Fundraising 

• Provide oversight and continuity for a limited number of legacy community events, ensuring they are delivered with appropriate resource and quality. 
• Work with the Fundraising & Events Manager to assess the future viability of these events and how they may integrate with or exit from the broader fundraising strategy. 
• Maintain key relationships with mosque and school partners to preserve goodwill and support transitional planning. 

Team Leadership 

• Line manage the Fundraising & Events Manager, providing coaching, strategic direction, and performance support. 
• Ensure the team structure remains fit for purpose as event formats, income goals, and capacity evolve. 
• Delegate operational oversight of individual events and activities while maintaining accountability for departmental outcomes. 

Cross-Organisational Leadership 

• Represent fundraising and events at the senior leadership level, contributing to organisational strategy and decision-making. 
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across teams. 
• Uphold high standards of integrity, professionalism, and alignment with the charity’s values and mission. 

Essential Skills and Experience

• Significant experience in a senior fundraising or income generation role, including designing and delivering strategy at a departmental level.
• Strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams. 
• Experience growing and managing challenge events or mass participation programmes, either directly or through team leadership. 
• Proven ability to develop income streams, including events and corporate fundraising, from inception to sustainability.

The primary focus of the Data Officer role is data quality. Data Officers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of Helpline data through a data cleaning regime, maintaining adherence to published data standards. Data Officers will also work with Helpline Advisors to address common data errors and improve quality at point of entry. Additionally, data Officers will be involved in analysis of data for periodic statistical publications as well as ad-hoc requests and bespoke reports. Data officers will also contribute to the ongoing improvements of the Helpline’s data model and Salesforce instance.

The Access is Justice Foundation is seeking a Grants Officer who will join our Grants Team to provide ongoing administrative, operational, and data management support for our grant making activity, working alongside others in the Grants Team. You will maintain relationships with funded partners; undertake analysis of grants data, draft documents, reports, and communication materials; and provide ongoing support for our funding programmes and broader organisational work as needed. You will report to a Grants Manager (who leads day-to-day operational delivery of our grant programmes). Job Profile

CAFOD’s work in the Catholic community of England and Wales is to inspire and resource Catholics to participate in the Church’s mission to overcome poverty and injustice in partnership with CAFOD.

The main purpose of this role is to inspire and increase the participation in CAFOD’s work of Catholic parishes, schools and the broader Catholic community within the Plymouth Diocese. CPCs are accountable for delivering CAFOD’s annual participation plans locally across England and Wales. As well as growing the number of parishes and schools participating to address global poverty and express solidarity with our global family, we aim to increase the breadth of their engagement, participation.

This will be accomplished partly by the recruitment and support of a team of committed, inspired and well-resourced volunteers working in parish and school communities to enable and equip Catholics to give, act and pray. The work will also involve meeting important church-based stakeholders, advisers and networks within the diocese to build fruitful and positive relationships.

The post reports to the Community Participation Manager for Wales & West Region (The dioceses of Lancaster, Liverpool, Salford, Shrewsbury, Wrexham, Cardiff-Menevia, Clifton, Birmingham, and Plymouth)

The Community Participation Coordinator (CPC) is part of a regional team working across a group of dioceses and whilst having a primary focus on one diocese, is responsible for the results of the regional team plans in relation parishioner and school participation and volunteer recruitment and retention.

The role will be home based, although the post holder will be mobile and flexible to meet volunteers, clergy and other stakeholders and contribute at events as required.

The role requires a willingness to be adaptable to support the work of the regional team, deploying skills, knowledge and at times activity in other parts of the regional team area. This is likely to require some additional travel (which would be reimbursed by CAFOD). The post also requires weekend and evening work for which time off in lieu (toil) can be claimed.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering participation plans

• Share accountability for delivery of annual participation plans for the region (a group of dioceses) with a primary focus on one diocese, and for fundraising, education, campaigns, and other targets, as delineated by the participation plan for the region. It is usually anticipated that the role will have an 80% focus on parish communities and a 20% focus on school communities
• Contribute to the development and delivery of a regional plan across a number of dioceses in support of the annual participation plans and appropriate for local contexts
• Achieve targets for increasing parishioner and children & young people participation primarily through recruitment and retention of volunteers and working with clergy, religious, diocesan and parish advisers and administrators etc.
• Monitor and share information around community participation and recruitment, activity, development and retention of volunteers

Managing volunteers

• Be the local volunteer manager in a specific diocese or dioceses

JOB TITLE: College Principal
REPORTING TO: Chief Executive Officer
ROLE PURPOSE
The Principal provides overall institutional leadership for Waverley Abbey College, locally, nationally and internationally. They are also the steward of its spiritual and strategic health, including: 
> Strategic direction and planning to develop Waverley Abbey College as Waverley Abbey Trust’s education ministry, ensuring our ethos and theological framework is safeguarded.
> Direction to the existing faculties and development of new products in line with the strategic plan.
> Leadership on all regulatory and partnership matters.
> As a member of the Executive Team, contribute to the strategic direction and delivery of Waverley Abbey’s mission .

ROLE PROFILE AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. College Leadership
> Provide spiritual and strategic leadership to all aspects of College life.
> Lead and cultivate the culture of the College.
> Develop a strategy and plan to achieve the Waverley Abbey mission & vision, ensuring annual operational and business plans are delivered for each department of the College.
> Promote and foster a quality conscious culture and staff committed to forming learners and graduates of academic excellence and deep personal spirituality and formation.
> Ensure that the College theology is in line with the ethos and values of Waverley Abbey, and that Waverley Abbey ethos and values are informed and enriched by our theology.

2. Relationship Management
> Be accountable to the CEO, Exec, Advisory groups and Board.
> Constructively drive the development of the College within the wider Waverley Abbey vision.
> Ensure that Board, CEO and Exec are fully informed on all areas of risk affecting the College.
> Innovate and develop partnerships with external stakeholders to effect the vision and mission of Waverley Abbey, and growth of the college, establishing and fostering healthy relationships with likeminded institutions, scholars and business leaders throughout the world.
> Participate in and extend the integration and relationship of the College with 24-7 Prayer for the larger vision for Waverley Abbey.
> Engage with church leaders, para-church organisations, donors and other key stakeholder groups to develop the mission of the College, ensuring staff are similarly engaged.
> Ensure both the national and international profile of the College is enhanced, extended and protected.
> Manage relationships with all relevant external bodies including DfE, Universities, QAA and OfS.

Purpose of job

The Support and Integration Officer is responsible for providing excellent standards of support,
as well as quality information advice and guidance, to enable the resettlement and successful
integration of refugees. This role is one of the main pillars of the service that ACH provides.

Key Responsibilities

 Completing an initial Pre-Tenancy Assessment for each person referred to the service as
well as developing a personalised plan of support for them ensuring that it is reviewed
regularly
 Giving advice and support on a range of issues including housing, finance, education,
employment, health and immigration, as required.

 Supporting people with budgeting / registering with care providers / creating social
networks / advocacy/ volunteering / training / employment opportunities etc.
 Making internal and external referrals to others services e.g. ACH  or other
relevant external agencies and referral partners as appropriate
 Organising and attending group trips to local places of interest for our tenants
 Developing links with external organisations or agencies to promote the needs of
refugees and create opportunities for partnership working.
 Effectively managing a designated caseload of tenants, as well as keeping accurate
records and maintaining case files to a high standard.
 Fully participating in team meeting, staff meetings, training sessions, supervision and any
other relevant forum or communication processes.
 Organising house meetings and visiting our tenants both at their properties and in the
community
 Making use of CRM Salesforce reports to improve case management

About the Role

This is a new senior leadership role at IRMO, created to strengthen the coordination and development of our growing programmes and services. As our work has expanded, so has its complexity. This role has been designed to improve cross-team planning, bring greater consistency to our delivery, and embed a stronger focus on learning and impact across everything we do.

As Head of Programmes and Impact, you will be at the heart of a community-led, Latin American-led organisation committed to advancing migrant rights and social justice. You will play a key role in supporting that mission by helping ensure our work is effective, well-resourced and aligned with the needs of the communities we serve.

In this role, you will provide day-to-day support to Programme Managers, connect work across teams, and lead our new Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) function. You will also deputise for the CEO and contribute to strategic planning, quality assurance and risk management across the organisation.

As part of IRMO’s Senior Management Team, you will help shape and deliver our organisational strategy. You will also play a central role in our participation in the London Communities Human Rights Programme – a four-year project supporting us to embed a human rights-based approach in all areas of our work, in collaboration with the British Institute of Human Rights.

This is a key leadership role that will help strengthen how we work, learn and deliver together. We’re looking for someone collaborative, values-led and highly organised – with experience in leading teams, coordinating programmes and building strong internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning and coordination across programmes to ensure joined-up, consistent delivery and efficient use of IRMO’s resources

Person Specification

Essential

• At least one year’s experience in a senior management or leadership role

• At least three years’ experience managing programmes or projects in relevant areas

• Experience developing and delivering programme or organisational strategies

• Experience overseeing service delivery in areas such as advice, education, youth or community work

• Experience managing and supporting staff

• Experience leading or supporting monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), with a strong understanding of how MEL supports learning and improvement

• Good understanding of UK employment law, HR best practice, health and safety, data protection and safeguarding

University of the Arts London (UAL) is looking to appoint an exceptional individual to be their new Head of Prospect Development and Operations. Ranked number two in the world for Art & Design by the QS World Rankings, UAL is the biggest provider of creative education in Europe and is proud to be an influential global leader, where creativity and innovation flourish. The new Head of Prospect Development and Operations (PDO) will sit on the Development and Alumni Relations Management Team, using prospect research to systematically drive success in the University’s fundraising activity. The role supports all philanthropic and alumni engagement activity across the department.  They will lead a team of two, directing prospect research for maximum strategic benefit and identifying novel ways of approaching potential prospects. The new Head of PDO will also lead the department’s database operations (CRM Raiser’s Edge NXT), turning vital data into useful information, including specialist financial reports. They will improve usage of the database, manipulating it and customising it to a high level. The post-holder will have the opportunity to make a transformative difference to UAL’s development infrastructure, in advance of the University’s upcoming fundraising campaign.

UAL is looking for an excellent team leader with a strong track record in prospect development and senior-level data management. They will be technically competent and ideally an experienced user of the RE NXT database. Strong candidates will bring their ideas and experience to bear to enhance systems and processes. They should ideally be familiar with Higher Education or creative environments, as well as be aligned with the social purpose of UAL. The Head of Finance is a key member of Tara Theatre’s senior management team, overseeing the company’s financial processes and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. They will report to Alys Beider, Tara’s new Executive Director and Joint Chief Executive and support with strategic long-term financial and business planning as well as annual and quarterly budgeting.

They are responsible for maintaining the company accounts, preparing quarterly management accounts, cashflow forecasts and financial reports and analysis for the executive team and the board of trustees.

Tara Theatre is a company limited by guarantee and a charity. It has two trading subsidiaries, Tara Productions and Tara Enterprises. We currently have an annual turnover of circa £1 million. We manage our finances and payroll in-house, currently using Xero.

As our Head of Finance, you may have a background in the arts and culture sector, however we are open to a range of skillsets gained from working in business or charity environments and encourage applications from individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds and lived experiences.
