We are looking for an experienced, confident and relationship-focussed fundraiser to join us as Partnerships and Stewardship Manager, to help build deep and meaningful relationships with corporate donors and prospective corporate donors who have the potential to transform the future and impact of UAL. 

The Partnerships and Stewardship Manager will raise philanthropic income from new business and existing corporate partnerships to further innovative research, education, capital and student support and other UAL core priorities.

The role is based in the Development & Alumni Relations team at UAL which is responsible for the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of principal gifts, major gifts, trusts and foundations and corporate donors.

This is a hybrid role, based at UAL’s High Holborn site but will also include time spent at the Colleges. The role will give you the opportunity to work closely with colleagues in world-leading departments on a wide range of strategic funding propositions.

About you

We are seeking individuals who are target-driven, with a passion for building meaningful philanthropic partnerships with companies. You'll be tenacious in your approach to income delivery and be able to articulate the case for support for investing in creative higher education.  Your natural ability to connect, engage, and motivate others around a shared vision will be key, as is your talent for identifying donor opportunities and translating them into long-term impact.

You will be working to realise the potential of a pipeline of prospects to elevate the impact of corporate philanthropy at UAL.  Alongside this you will be responsible for a supporter engagement programme to motivate existing corporate supporters and ultimately increase philanthropic income for the University.  Your success in our team will be supported by a solid track record of developing partnerships and securing new gifts.

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Fundraising & Events to lead the development and growth of a high-performing department focused on generating income through national and international challenge events and corporate partnerships. 
 
This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for designing the fundraising and events strategy, building the structure and team to deliver it, and ensuring scalable, sustainable growth. You will shape the long-term direction of the department, ensure the right people and processes are in place, and play a key role in supporting the organisation’s broader income generation goals — including supporting the CEO with major donor stewardship.

Key Responsibilities: 

Strategic Leadership & Department Building

Legacy Community Fundraising 

• Provide oversight and continuity for a limited number of legacy community events, ensuring they are delivered with appropriate resource and quality. 
• Work with the Fundraising & Events Manager to assess the future viability of these events and how they may integrate with or exit from the broader fundraising strategy. 
• Maintain key relationships with mosque and school partners to preserve goodwill and support transitional planning. 

Team Leadership 

• Line manage the Fundraising & Events Manager, providing coaching, strategic direction, and performance support. 
• Ensure the team structure remains fit for purpose as event formats, income goals, and capacity evolve. 
• Delegate operational oversight of individual events and activities while maintaining accountability for departmental outcomes. 

Cross-Organisational Leadership 

• Represent fundraising and events at the senior leadership level, contributing to organisational strategy and decision-making. 
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across teams. 
• Uphold high standards of integrity, professionalism, and alignment with the charity’s values and mission. 

Essential Skills and Experience

• Significant experience in a senior fundraising or income generation role, including designing and delivering strategy at a departmental level.
• Strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams. 
• Experience growing and managing challenge events or mass participation programmes, either directly or through team leadership. 
• Proven ability to develop income streams, including events and corporate fundraising, from inception to sustainability.

About The Role
We are offering a great opportunity to join our team as a Dementia Adviser, providing personalised support to people diagnosed with dementia and their carers! 
As a Dementia Adviser, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide support, information, and guidance to people with dementia and their carers; helping to maintain their independence, improving their sense of well-being, and putting them in more control of their lives.
The service is unique to each service user as it is based upon their personal circumstances and support needs. You will offer support to your clients in a variety of ways, whether in the client's own home, or at other locations in the community, face to face, by phone, letter, or email. You will also assist service users to access other services, providing signposting and referrals.
You will be supporting people living in the western border of Newcastle upon Tyne along the Tyne Valley to the Cumbrian border in the west, south to the border with Co. Durham and north to the Scottish border. Some parts of the area are remote, rural communities and you will need to be able to travel throughout the area.

Your role as a Dementia Adviser will include

- Providing a person-centred and outcomes focused information, advice and support service to people affected by dementia and their carers.
- Identifying people’s needs and the services they may wish to access, give advice about how to live well with dementia and support the improvement of their sense of wellbeing.
- Working from home, but you will be spending time in the community completing home visits, promoting our service at events and occasionally giving dementia awareness talks to groups
- It would be preferable for the post holder to work in the area and travel expenses are only paid for travel within the area specified.
- Working with a variety of other professionals, such as GPs, memory clinic staff and other health and social care services.

About you

- Ability and interest in supporting people to maintain their independence, improve their sense of well-being, and help them take more control of their lives.
- Understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with dementia and their carers would be an advantage but if you have had experience supporting with other diagnosis or support requirements this would be taken into consideration.
- Experience with communicating with a wide range of people, adapting your approach to ensure understanding at all levels.
- Able to network effectively and collaborating with other professionals to achieve a positive outcome for people.
- Good IT skills, experience working with databases and virtual meeting software (Teams / Zoom).
- The ability to travel across the local area independently when and often as required.

The supporter relations and engagement officer supports the supporter relations and engagement manager in delivering the charity's strategy, helping to drive all aspects of supporter relations, engagement, and stewardship to strengthen relationships with stakeholders. We’re looking for an experienced, empathetic and proactive Access & Community Lead to shape and lead this exciting project.

What you’ll do

You’ll lead all aspects of Parks 4 All, working alongside Disabled people, carers, partners and community groups to remove barriers and build lasting change. This includes:

• Developing and launching a national Community Park Access Assessment Toolkit

• Improving online access information for parks across Bristol and Bath

• Supporting the delivery of inclusive park-based activities (with your direct report, our Access & Community Officer)

• Building partnerships and ensuring co-design is at the heart of everything we do

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Editorial Manager to join the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). As part of our team, you will play a key role in the production of information that supports better health outcomes for women, girls, and people, aligned with RCOG’ mission.

You will be working in a collaborative, values-driven environment, helping to create clear, concise and impactful patient information that contributes to improving women’s experiences of health care.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will work with the Patient Information Committee, the other Guidance Editorial Managers, the Senior Guidance Editorial Manager and the Head of Guidance to:

• manage the development and production of RCOG patient information
• copyedit and proofread successive drafts of patient information to ensure they accurate and easy to understand
• prepare accompanying audio versions of the patient information written information and visual resources as appropriate
• contribute to improving RCOG patient information.

The Team

The Guidance Team is part of the Clinical Quality (CQ) team in the RCOG Education and Clinical Quality directorate. Clinical Quality is responsible for a range of outputs, products and services that champion and facilitate the safe care of women, girls and their babies across the UK, via quality improvement and clinical audit activities informed by evidence-based practice.

We deliver the activities above through three workstream areas.

• Guidance and patient information – commissioning, development and production of RCOG guidance and patient information.
• CQ Projects – managing and supporting the portfolio of externally-funded projects in research, quality improvement and audit in the College.
• CQ Operations – the CQ Operations Team provide operational support and governance to ensure CQ runs effectively as well as planning and executing the strategy to develop CQ and ensure its sustainability.

The work of the Clinical Quality team is overseen and directed by the Clinical Quality Board and Clinical Quality Assurance Group committees and also informed by the Academic Board.

This is a unique opportunity to work with leading academics and clinicians in the field of women’s health and with leading charities and national organisations taking the lead to improve the outcomes and experiences of women and girls accessing obstetrics, gynaecology and maternity care.

What the job involves 

We’re looking for an exceptional nurse to join the Specialist Nurses team at Prostate Cancer UK, part of our wider Support Services team that helps men and their loved ones to navigate the challenges of prostate cancer.

First and foremost, you’ll be providing invaluable information and support directly to men and their families via a range of channels, including telephone, email, webchat, and WhatsApp. 

You’ll also work with other teams across the charity, ensuring that Prostate Cancer UK maintains a strong, credible clinical voice in all its activity. This will range from supporting men through webinars and classes, to delivering education sessions to health professionals, to reviewing health information resources, to supporting communications campaigns. 

Please note that there is no face-to-face patient contact as part of this role, and the team’s remit is contained to information and support – not clinical advice. 

You’ll be working Monday – Friday, with a hybrid working model. The service runs predominantly remotely, but periodical office attendance for collaborative work is expected. 

Current daily shift patterns are 8.45am – 4.45pm or 9.15am – 5.15pm. The appointee will need to be available 8.45am – 5.15pm daily, as shift patterns are allocated based on service requirements.  

What we want from you 

You’ll be a registered nurse with solid experience at NHS Band 6, including recent work in either urology, oncology or palliative care looking after men with prostate cancer. You’ll bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to organise and prioritise your work effectively and flexibly. You’ll also be flexible and adaptable to meet the complex demands of this role. You’ll show willingness and proactivity to step away from frontline service delivery to support a range of wider charity activity. You’ll also be comfortable with remote working, both in terms of delivering information and support over the phone and working in a remote team.

As a Specialist Nurse, you’ll be committed, enthusiastic and compassionate – keen to apply your existing clinical experience and knowledge to provide information and support to those affected by prostate cancer and have the desire to develop new skills.
