PURPOSE OF POSITION

This is a critical frontline leadership role that is responsible for the operation of the organisation’s homelessness and rough sleeping services at Anchor House.

You will provide operational leadership to support services managers and ensure compliance with organisational, contractual, local authority and legal regulations and requirements. You will ensure the quality of services is pushed to the highest standards possible, ensuring excellent outcomes for residents and a positive and high performing working environment for teams.

This role will also be accountable for building and maintenance of excellent relationships with external partners, commissioners, other key stakeholders for support services in the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Service Delivery

· Lead in setting organisational standards and performance targets across the support services that reflect contractual requirements and organisational standards.

· Actively promote and develop person centred practices based on a trauma informed approach and psychologically informed environment to working with residents with high support needs and challenging behaviour.

· Be accountable for the operational performance of the services, allocating resources strategically to ensure that key performance indicators are achieved and that action plans are in place where required to improve service performance.

· Promote accountability and co-production approaches with residents.

· Support with the creation and review of local and service wide policies and procedures.

· As part of the Frontline Services Leadership Team, ensure the support services team follow established Health & Safety and building management procedures

· Contribute, and when required, lead on the formation and review of local and service wide policies and procedures.

· Contribute to the Frontline Service’s Management On Call rota, providing support to frontline services outside of office hours.

Stakeholder Management

· Develop and maintain close relationships and working protocols with external partners and local authorities to enable the service to meet agreed objectives and improve service outcomes.

· Submit management information on a monthly and quarterly basis and produce other statistics and data as directed by the Director of Frontline Services.

· Responsible for good and effective liaison with outside agencies including the police, social services and other statutory and voluntary agencies and delegating this work where appropriate.

· Represent the organisation externally at forums, conferences and meetings.

· Contribute to the wider management team in frontline services to ensure good communication, coordination and consistency of practice, approach and development across the Directorate.

Business Planning and Project Management

· Drive business planning activities within contracts, ensuring relevant and challenging objective setting and ongoing performance tracking, developing turn around action plans as may be necessary

· Where agreed, project manage new services or service developments.

· Working closely with Finance Department to set, manage and monitor allocated budgets for income and expenditure for support services and to ensure that teams keep within set performance targets.

· To ensure that financial procedures are maintained at all times in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.

Managing and Developing People

· Creating an open and inclusive culture across the support services teams that reflects the organisation’s values.

· Developing performance targets and quality control measures for teams, and monitoring performance to ensure that these are met.

· Supporting managers and teams by setting clear objectives and holding individual supervisions regularly.

· Ensuring good communication across teams by holding team meetings regularly, and additional briefings as necessary.

· Inducting new managers and any other direct reports and planning the continuous professional development of existing managers through annual appraisals.

· Managing the workload of teams to ensure that adequate cover is provided at all times.

Safeguarding Lead

· To be the designated Safeguarding Lead for the organisation ensuring that it meets legal duties, keeping policy and practices up to date

· To actively promote an open and accountable approach across the organisation as a whole that achieves best practice and keeps the best interest of the residents central to our safeguarding practices.

General

· To attend meetings internally as and when necessary, for example, Directorate, Management and planning meetings.

· To undertake such other duties within the competence of the post holder which may be required from time to time.

Experience

· Experience of working with vulnerable adults, including managing the provision of a safe operating environment in a relevant context

· Experience of leading, supervising and motivating managers of specialist service delivery teams in either a supported housing, advice, homelessness, care or other relevant environment

· Experience of case management and delivering best practice around; needs assessments, high quality personalised support or advice services to vulnerable adults, including people with high support needs

· Experience of contract management with stakeholders

· Experience of project management and mobilisation of new services or developing existing services

Skills & knowledge

· Knowledge and understanding of the housing and support needs of single people who experience homelessness and rough sleeping, the benefit of move on and the ability to translate knowledge into good practice.

· Knowledge of the commercial and regulatory requirements of supported housing.

Fuel Bank – Triage Support Advisor

Location – Remote based role with occasional travel to the Midlands for team meetings & training.

Hours – Part & Full Time Positions. F/T – 37.5 hours Monday to Friday. P/T 18.5 hours flexible Monday to Friday to suit the needs of the charity and individual’s work life balance.

Key Responsibilities

Initial Contact & Needs Assessment

• Information Gathering: Ask relevant questions to understand the nature of each enquiry—whether a client needs immediate fuel assistance, advice, or referral to another service.
• Basic Eligibility Checks: Perform preliminary assessments to confirm a caller’s eligibility or direct them to the right partner agencies.

Triage & Referral

• Case Prioritisation: Quickly identify urgent cases (e.g., no heating supply, extreme vulnerability) and escalate them as needed to senior colleagues or specialized services.
• Routing Calls/Emails: Forward complex queries or those requiring in-depth guidance to the appropriate department (e.g., Customer Support, Policy & Impact, Finance for voucher-related questions).
• Follow-Up Coordination: Log essential details for each interaction, ensuring smooth handovers and timely follow-up by the relevant team member.

Data Entry & Record Keeping

• Database Management: Accurately input beneficiary information into the Foundation’s CRM or case-management system, maintaining up-to-date records in line with data protection policies.
• Documentation: Keep clear notes on calls, emails, and web form submissions, tagging them with relevant categories (e.g., urgent, general enquiry, advice request).
• Reporting: Support team leads by generating basic reports or summaries on enquiry volumes, types of requests, or common issues.

Communication & Collaboration

• Liaise with Colleagues: Update other teams or managers about trends in call types or emerging issues that might require policy changes or additional resources.
• Team Support: Assist in scheduling, task delegation, or administrative tasks when needed, contributing to a well-coordinated triage function.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Occasionally interact with partner organisations, local agencies, or other charities to exchange referral information or confirm assistance protocols.

The post-holder will offer specialist legal advice services and provide representation for residents of the London boroughs facing eviction and homelessness. IKWRO - Women’s Rights Organisation is a registered charity (number 1151507) which supports Middle Eastern women and girls living in the UK who are facing “honour” based violence, forced marriage, domestic violence or female genital mutilation.

As well as providing support to individual women and girls, we run training for professionals and campaigns for better laws and policies to protect women’s rights. About our Saturday Spanish School: Our Saturday Spanish School offers a vibrant, immersive space for children aged 5–12 to explore and strengthen their Spanish language skills. Tailored especially for Spanish-speaking families, the curriculum helps children build confidence in their heritage language through fun, interactive activities. At the same time, we warmly welcome learners from all backgrounds, creating a multicultural environment where language learning happens naturally through play, creativity, and meaningful social connection.

About the role

University Access Officers are responsible for delivering The Access Project’s high impact mentoring programme to students across our partner schools. This role works with a caseload of students supporting them from the start of Year 10 up to the end of Year 13 to understand the pathway to a top university. 

The role also involves project coordination, working with our schools, volunteers and teams across The Access Project to ensure our young people are fully supported and have the best possible chance of achieving social mobility and enhancing their future prospects.

This role is for a University Access Officer to work across our two schools in Cumbria, The Whitehaven Academy and Workington Academy. Our schools are shown on a map on our website. 

Role responsibilities

• Work directly with young people mentoring a caseload of students in a professional and safe manner.
• Deliver our University Readiness programme through in-depth, targeted 1:1 mentoring sessions with Year 10 to Year 13 students.
• Assess student progress towards being able to make successful university applications.
• Engage with students in school and enrol them onto the programme.
• Match students with volunteer tutors.
• Monitor student attendance to tutorials and devise innovative solutions to encourage attendance.
• Monitor the impact of tutorials and intervene as appropriate.
• Build and manage relationships with volunteer tutors to ensure they have a positive experience of the programme.
• Manage tutor attendance to tutorials through weekly monitoring systems.
• Lead on quality assurance of tuition pairings/grouping completing a caseload of drop ins.  
• Upload information onto the Salesforce database (training is provided).
• Work with school staff to ensure their cooperation and timely completion of activities contributing to the smooth running of the programme.
• Direct enrolled students to appropriate wider enrichment opportunities, encouraging both extra and super-curricular participation and reflection.
• Work with Enrichment & Events team and partner schools to deliver school trips to universities, including trip logistics and leading groups of young people on trip days.
• Lead on all student facing comms.
• Send regular summary updates to school as their key point of contact.
• Present at termly school meetings with Senior Management to report on programme progress.
• Any other responsibilities reasonably deemed necessary by The Access Project’s Programme Managers or Director.

Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.

Overall job purpose

Our Health and Safety Officer will help us embed, maintain, and develop high standards of Health and Safety, across CCT’s estate and its people. They will work closely with our small Health and Safety Team to create, implement, and establish our Health and Safety policies and procedures, in accordance with current legislation. We are seeking a Philanthropy Officer to play a key role in supporting and delivering excellent stewardship for our Patrons and most generous individual donors. From dance and film, to music, theatre and visual arts the Philanthropy team works across the whole of our ambitious and joyful cross-arts programme, giving you the chance to share the best of the Barbican with our closest supporters.

The Philanthropy Officer will be the main point of contact in the Philanthropy team, primarily account managing our lower-level Patrons and supporting the stewardship and recruitment of higher level donors. Alongside the delivery of our Patrons scheme, they will lead on all individual giving events and manage the philanthropy team’s participation in Development-wide events such as exhibition private views. The role sits within the Network Impact Team, which supports and enables the quality, safety, sustainability and impact of the Home-Start federation, while nurturing strong relationships and trust across the network. The role holder will lead the Practice Team and the Learning and Development Team, and work closely with colleagues in Volunteering, Quality and Safeguarding, and Data and Impact, as well as in the wider Fundraising, Marketing, Communications, Policy and Infrastructure teams.

As a member of our leadership team, they will provide inspiring, strong and supportive leadership to colleagues, ensuring strong operational management of ongoing activities and planned projects. They will foster cohesion and alignment across Home-Start UK and the Home-Start network. They will work across the organisation and with partners to ensure practice and learning programmes evolve to meet emerging needs and to deliver meaningful, measurable change over time.
