MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing professional and customer-focussed HR leadership, advice and support to academies to enable leaders to improve and support staff engagement, tackle workforce priorities, maximise workforce efficiency and achieve academy people objectives
- Influencing and supporting the strategic direction of academies by providing and analysing workforce information and developing HR initiatives to respond to needs or example, developing effective retention plans, improving sickness absence and reducing agency expenditure
- Coaching, supporting and mentoring senior leaders on people management practices, issues and priorities, through development of close working relationships and understanding of business challenges and opportunities
- Providing expert advice to managers in highly complex employee relations cases on the interpretation and implementation of the Federation employment procedures within the context of the legal framework
- Retaining oversight of casework, and line managing an HR advisor in the management of specific ER cases
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- Experience in a HR Business Partner or senior HR advisor role within a large complex organisation
- Experience of developing and delivery of strategic HR plans and initiatives
- Previous experience of managing complex Employee relations issues, change management, and restructuring
- Experience of supervising staff
- Educated to masters level in HR Management or equivalent level of experience of working in an HR role
- A CIPD qualification to Associate level or above

As Senior Manager, Advocacy and Creative Programme, you will have overall responsibility for the Advocacy and Creative Programme. We’re looking for a Senior IT Manager to help us deliver secure, sustainable and people-focused IT systems, and support more than 140 colleagues to do their best work. The role
As Senior IT Manager, you will lead on all things IT across CSE and our subsidiary, Retrofit West CIC. From supporting staff day-to-day to managing our infrastructure and external support partner, you will ensure our systems are secure, fit for purpose, and evolving with our needs.
You will sit within the Finance & Operations team and be part of CSE’s Senior Management Team (SMT), working closely with our Director of Finance & Operations. * The salary for the post will be on Scale I (£47,508– £55,953). Starting salary is expected to be at the lower end of the range with precise level depending on skills, relevant experience, and qualifications. A suitably qualified and experienced applicant should expect to find themselves closer to the middle of the range following successful completion of their 6-month probationary period. Subsequent movement is dependent on annual appraised performance against the defined job description for the post.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.
Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now looking to build a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to diversify income, expand their philanthropy programme and increase engagement and impact.
Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this role will be responsible for translating complex programmes and ambitions into clear, inspiring and emotionally resonant content for high-value supporters including major donors, trusts, foundations and corporate partners. Essential experience for this role includes a proven track record in developing high-quality fundraising cases for support, proposals or donor communications in a charity or social impact setting. About the role:
This role's primary purpose is to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement of Respect's training programmes.
