About the role
We are looking for a Head of Strategic Partnerships (Church of England) to join our Church Partnerships Team at Compassion UK. In this pivotal role, you will shape and lead our strategy to engage with Church of England leaders, events, and networks across the UK.
Your work will help us achieve ambitious growth targets in child sponsorship and transformational giving.
Home-based, within a commutable distance to central London

You need to have
- Strong knowledge and experience of the Church of England including leadership structures, networks, theology, and mission culture
- Proven success in building strategic relationships, ideally within a church, ministry, or mission organisation
- Confidence and clarity as a public communicator with experience preaching or speaking at events
- Demonstrated ability to lead growth strategies and manage complex partnerships
- Experience in sales or fundraising, with the ability to manage full partnership development cycles
- Excellent self-motivation and organisation, with the ability to work independently in a dispersed team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supporter Care Assistant to join the Fundraising Team .Your role is to be responsible for delivering excellent service to The Children's Trust’s supporters.
This role is not open to sponsorship.
Role Requirements
- Act as the first point of contact for general enquiries (both internal and external) received on a day- to-day basis.
- Confidently respond to phone calls and enquiries from supporters and the general public in a prompt, professional and friendly manner.
- Produce letters and e-mails in response to enquiries from supporters and the general public.
- Ensure the prompt and accurate recording of donations on the fundraising database, ThankQCRM
- Liaise with fundraisers concerning the coding of donations on the fundraising database.
- Produce thank you letters to supporters in a prompt timeframe.
- Liaise with the Finance department regarding donation coding and financial reconciliation.
- Add new supporter records to the fundraising database.
- Update existing supporter records on the fundraising database (i.e. changes of address).
- Update existing donation data on the fundraising database.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the finance team to help support in driving good management reporting and business partnering to ensure the accurate and reliable reporting and budgeting for Development, Membership, Marketing and Communications and Visitor Experience.
Key duties of the role are as follows:
To ensure effective financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and analysis for budget holders, senior management and external parties as required. Building excellent relationships with the Audience and Development teams, ensuring that:
- The Directors, Heads of Department and cost centre budget holders are supported and challenged on all financial issues, including reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- There is effective and ongoing financial monitoring and control
- Budget variances, risks and opportunities are identified and flagged as part of the management accounts monthly reforecast process
To deliver monthly management accounting and other reporting for relevant cost centres, including:
- Meeting budget holders to discuss accuracy of the accounts, reasons for variances and required actions and updating forecasts as appropriate
- Prepare the relevant summary sections of the monthly management accounts and related KPIs
- Process accruals, deferrals, and other accounting adjustments, including at financial year end
About You
- You will be a part-qualified, finalist or fully qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent). Applicants who are qualified by experience are also encouraged to apply.
- You will have hands-on knowledge of supporting in the production of management accounts and experience of or the ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders to advise on budgets

Our Grants and Procurement Officers coordinate and complete a range of awards management activities, including carrying out due diligence, vetting and setting up new grant agreements. You will have the opportunity to develop your grant management and procurement skills, and contribute to the development of our grant making and procurement processes.
Your application will need to demonstrate:
- Experience in grants management and/or contract administration (managing, maintaining and improving processes)
- Experience of conducting due diligence or risk assessment on suppliers and partners
- An interest in risk management processes
- An understanding of basic financial processing with a good standard of numeracy
- Excellent customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people in different organisations and cultures is essential.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to use initiative and good judgement to resolve issues to conclusion
- An interest in the humanitarian or development sectors, ideally demonstrated through academic qualifications and/or paid or voluntary work.
Experience of coordinating financial processes such as grant payments, or invoicing, would also be an advantage.

The Children’s Trust is the largest paediatric inpatient provider of tertiary (level 1) specialised neurorehabilitation for children and young people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). As a Post-CCT Fellow, you will be a key member of the Medical Team, providing clinical care for children and young people who are admitted to The Children’s Trust for specialised neurorehabilitation.
You will receive support from Consultants in Paediatric Neurodisability, Consultant Paediatrician, and Associate Specialist in Neurodisability.
Working hours are 9am - 5pm daily, with no obligatory Out of Hours cover.
Role Requirements
To succeed in this high profile and diverse role, you must demonstrate:
- Full professional GMC registration and licence to practice and an MBBS or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in Paediatrics and previous experience/training in Neurodisability or Neurology.
- Strong clinical skills, combined with excellent child and family focussed interpersonal skills.
- A caring, supportive and can-do approach.
