About the role
As a Service Desk Analyst at British Heart Foundation (BHF), you’ll be a vital member of a highly talented, customer focused and enthusiastic helpdesk team who act as the first point-of-contact for end users.
With previous service desk experience you'll take pride in resolving almost all issues as they arise. Quick to learn, enthusiastic and self-motivated, you’ll ensure that the knowledge base is always updated so other team members can learn from your successes and overall performance is maintained and improved.
With a high percentage of customers being in the Retail directorate, you’ll be required to participate in a weekend cover rota, allowing service to our shops and stores to be delivered. Working hours needed to deliver these services are 35 hours/week – staggered in accordance with the support rota.
Working arrangements
This is a fixed term contract covering an internal secondment.
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.
At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, approximately three days a week. Working hours needed to deliver these services are 35 hours per week covering a rota schedule (the team cover 8am to 6pm every day).
The role will also participate in a weekend cover rota allowing service to our shops and stores to be delivered. This will be in the region of 1 weekend in 4-6.
The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
About you
You'll have previous service desk experience, having working in the SD environment previously, and will have excellent customer service and communication skills, being used to working in a busy service desk team. You'll also have excellent telephone and customer handling skills to back up your technical and fault diagnosis experience.
You’ll have strong troubleshooting skills, keeping the Customer informed of progress against their respective issues, ensuring an effective follow-up to ensure all service has been delivered and completed to the Customer's satisfaction.
Good knowledge of Windows OS (Win 10 and above), you’ll also have knowledge of LAN/WAN networking essentials and extensive experience of MS Office suite of Applications (2010 and above). You’ll have previous experience with administration of Users within Active Directory and Remote Support Tools (i.e. VNC, RDP etc.).
With good knowledge of ticket and case management techniques, managing own queues and workload to meet Service Level Agreements, you’ll be able to remain calm and focused, and will have strong organisational skills, able to use prioritisation and escalation techniques, and able to develop strong working relationships with the team and contacts across the organisation.

About the Role:
This isn't your average marketing role. You'll be the third hire into a dynamic new team tasked with supporting our Member Associations (MAs) - local, in-country health organisations - to strengthen their marketing capabilities and boost their clinics' visibility, credibility, and patient footfall.
Your work will directly help ensure that essential SRHR services remain accessible in low-resource settings by making their delivery models self-sustaining.
You'll work side-by-side with local teams in countries such as Nepal, Chile, Ecuador, Benin, Ghana and the Philippines. Your mission? Build impactful marketing strategies, improve websites and digital channels, and empower local teams through coaching, toolkits, and long-term support. Expect to roll up your sleeves - this is a very hands-on role, not one for spectators or delegators.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to individual clinics and maternity centres
- Lead branding, content, and outreach efforts to increase patient engagement
- Optimise clinic websites for user experience, SEO, and education
- Train local teams on social media, digital marketing, and community engagement
- Work directly with local marketing agencies to co-create campaigns
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies based on real-time data
- Help build commercial resilience in healthcare services across multiple global markets
You'll Need:
- Proven commercial marketing experience - ideally within healthcare, consumer services, or retail
- A deep understanding of how to drive customers into the clinical services they provide by using digital and traditional campaigns
- Strong coaching, influencing, and cross-cultural communication skills
- Confidence working autonomously and adapting quickly in dynamic, low-resource environments
- Hands-on experience optimising websites and managing digital channels
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% of the year (1-2 weeks at a time)
- Fluency in English; Spanish and/or French is a strong advantage

Salary: £41,365 - 59,963 (depending on experience)

Finance Assistant
This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a national charity, where you will have exposure to a range of areas within the Finance Team.

About the Role
As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for setting up and updating all property and resident accounts on the rental ledger system and for ensuring that rental income in correctly reflected on both the rent and finance systems on a timely basis.
You will work closely with project staff and housing benefit departments regarding rental income queries and ensure that rental income is received in accordance with the charity’s internal financial controls and all legal regulatory requirements are complied with. The role will involve some sales ledger work, under the supervision of the Rental Income Business Partner.
Some Key responsibilities include:
• Rental Ledger and rental collection
• Responsible for reviewing the rental income bank account and accurately reflecting all receipts onto the rental income system
• Identify any overpayments and request the necessary refunds
• Produce and send out monthly rent arrears and voids
• Process monthly rent write-offs
• Reconcile and close monthly accounts
• Raise rental income sales invoices and follow up on late payments
About You
You’ll be a highly organised individual, with excellent interpersonal skills. You will be comfortable working independently and communicating effectively with colleagues across the organisation.
Essential skills and experience:
• Good knowledge of rental income accounting and processes e.g. Housing Benefits
• Experience of rental income accounting systems, preferably including Omni
• Good Excel skills and well as other Microsoft packages.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
